ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Arc Cannon:
The arc cannon is a "lightning gun" that is positioned between the forward mandibles of the nose. The weapon fires a burst of electricity with the same range as the vessels other weapons. The mandibles are used to help focus the electrical charge, and the cannon can be used on either capital ship to wreck havoc on the electronics, particularly against vessels of its own class, or on clusters of starfighters. The cannon, while powerful, has a slow recharge time, and for pvp purposes can only be fired every two posts.

Description: The Arquintes-class light cruiser is a vessel that was originally used by the Empire to blockade Yurb. After the fall of the Empire, the world took the vessels into their defense force. The original members of the line that Yurb captured have been modified over the years, but the planet's repair yard has also created new members as time went on. The most powerful modification done to these craft was the addition of the Arc Cannon.
