Description:[background=#080808] The MN-23 was a comissioned weapon by one of ArmTech's customers, and is infact based on a toy, but due to said toy looking realistic enough, the ArmTech design team has managed to work their magic.[/background]

[background=#080808]This weapon is a niche between an Assault Rifle and a Personal Defense Weapon, its' compact size and its' bullpup layout allow the weapon to be easily stored inside a coat or a vehicle, making it an ideal weapon for tank crews who need something to take down the more blaster-resistant foes or soft body targets. [/background]

[background=#080808]The weapon fires the classic 5.56x45mm round, a small round which is supposed to yaw and tumble when it hits flesh, causing severe shredding damage to the foe. This cartridge is also a very low recoil cartridge. However this is at the cost of very weak penetration power, shooting through anything more than thin steel becomes difficult with this weapon as the cartridge is much more suited for antipersonnel roles, it can however fire these rounds at about 780 rounds per minute, very good but there are faster firing slugthrowers on offer, this is for recoil control mostly. The gun is also equipped with a 13 inch barrel, which fits snugly into the bullpup configuration, making the whole system a lot more portable.[/background]

[background=#080808]The weapon may not have the longest of ranges, but it is very consistent up to its' maximum range.[/background]

[background=#080808]The reload is rather tricky though, and can take some time if the user is not used to the weapon, and may cause the shooter to lose target acquisition by lifting the gun up.[/background]

Can you cut the effective range by half? The M16 IRL only has an effective range of about 500 meters, and this weapon is a mix between a PDW and assault rifle, so I would assume it has a relatively short barrel, thus reducing its range.

The barrel is 13 inches but edited nonetheless.

I did miss that the barrel is 13 inches, but that's still over half a foot shorter than the M16, which as a 20-inch barrel. Mind you, the effective range is also just the effective range; maximum ranges tend to be much farther, but you'd be hard pressed to hit anything past the effective range.
