PRODUCTION INFORMATION

    • Kinetic: Very High
    • Lightsabers: Extreme
    • Elemental: Extreme
    • Sonic: Low
    • Radiation: Very Low
    • ION/EMP: None
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Helmet
  • Body
    • Darkside Runes (The various flowing straps of parchment paper across the armor are covered with darkside runes, created by cultists from the Maw. If Chain finds himself having suffered a serious injury, the runes will activate immediately, granting him the benefits of Force Rage for a short duration... It was apparently cheaper than bacta injectors. Once the runes have been activated in this fashion, they cease function for twenty-four hours.)
  • Arms
    • Left Arm, Retractable Arm Blade (a vambracer attached to the left arm houses a large retractable cortosis blade. While retracted it is 10 inches in length, but expands to 20 inches when activated. It was meant to provide some form of defense against lightsaber combatants.)
STRENGTHS
  • Dark Powers. The Force Rage failsafe grants Chain a significant advantage in combat through the power of darkside runes. The rage produced and boost to his physical strength is enough to double his already considerable muscle mass.

  • Well Protected. Though the armor his heavy compared to most other sets, this comes at the advantage of extra coverage. Very few spots of armor are not covered in some form of protection. With the only exsisting weak spots being behind the knee, the neck, and arm joints. Much of the lower torso is also covered in armorweave, which is a weaker material than the rest of the suit.

WEAKNESSES
  • Dark Ruler No More. The sith runes attached to the armor were done so with parchment paper. They can be easily targeted and destroyed before Chain even gets an opportunity to use their power. Additionally, if all pieces of parchment paper are destroyed, Chain will have to seek out a darksider to repair them. Finally, force nullification and suppression effects will render these runes inactive while in the vicinity of them.

  • Loud and Proud. Due to the numerous amounts of metal, and close vicinity of plates on the armor, it produces a moderately loud clanking sound while walking. This effect is nearly impossible to avoid, making stealth operations nearly impossible while wearing this armor.

  • Exotic Weakness. The armor finds itself begin weak against a number of exotic weaponry such as Sonic weapons, EMP/ION tech, and even radiation. Sonic blaster cause the various pieces of metal to vibrate across the armor, meanwhile a single EMP grenade could disable all the armor's electrical systems. Finally, it is not entirely air-tight, meaning radiation and vacuums are a surefire way to hurt the guy on the inside.
DESCRIPTION
The Armor of the Damned was a piece of technology intended to be a final gift to Chain, from his cultist masters in the Brotherhood of the Maw. He had never heard their actual name, but some called them the Heathen Priests. They intended for him to wear this armor into battle against their enemies, but ironically he plans on turning the suit against them. The armor is primarily constructed of impervium which makes up the bulk of plates that cover the arms and legs. Cortosis was used in creating the large shoulder guards, chest, and backplate of the armor. Durasteel was added for small odds and ends such as clips to hold the darkside rune parchments, and the vambracer for the retractable blade. Finally, a bodyglove made from black and red armorweave covers the areas beneath the armor.

While to the vast majority of the galaxy, moving around quickly in a suit such as this would be impossible, Chain's incredible strength allows him to haul it around without much trouble. Though he will occasionally bump into things. Such a suit of armor also tends to get attention from those who realize exactly what the darkside runes are. Many sith find it odd that a mercenary would be wearing such a thing, and the jedi would probably be outright appalled.

Chain Chain

Cool armour!
  • Just an interesting, the Maw's cultists usally the Heathen Priests. (I just wrote one during the weekend!)
  • Please add the Sith Runes to the material.
  • And please add to the Weaknesses what happen with the Armour (in this case with the Runes) under Force Nullification / Force suppression effects.

Added Sith Runes to materials, added info to weakness, and mentioned the Heathen Priests ;)
