- Pilot preferred: due to the nature of the armor being lightweight and mobile as well as being designed to be highly resilient to flak weapons this armor sees a lot of use within the hades corp and CIS pilots while offering protection from solid projectiles fire and chemical splashes and indirect blaster shots.
- Like most blast armors energy weapons and lightsabers can effectively render the armor useless as even with the plasteel coating anything other than a glancing or indirect shot from a blaster or entry based weapon will outright cripple or in most cases kill the wearer
Despite the name, The Bodysuit provided only minimal protection from blaster bolts and other energy attacks. However, they effectively protected the torso legs, and arms from physical attacks such as shrapnel from explosive grenades or bullets from slugthrowers. much like their blast vest cousins due to using the various designs of blast vest and their meshes The BS-01 streamlines them and scales them in various presets to known species size and gender making them both an affordable but worthwhile purchase for any pilot going into combat zones. Carrying over one of the biggest weaknesses to blast vest was however their ineffectiveness to blaster weapons and energy weapons in general Hade's Corp developed the plasteel coating specifically for the suit and replacement canisters located on the belt of the bodysuit. the suits can be used for spec ops or sniper based individuals however where they excel is being worn by pilots to give them a little more security with the added benefit of freedom of movement.
