  • Intent: Turn a former PC into an NPC
  • Image Credit: Top Gun Maverick
  • Role: Vazal's role model and commander.
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: Char Bio
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: Mid 30s
  • Force Sensitivity: Untrained Force Sensitive
  • Species: Human (New Alderaanian Stock)
  • Appearance: An attractive New Alderaanian woman standing 5'10", Ari's athletic physique is a result of years of maintaining a very high level of fitness and military discipline, often shown by her preference to continue wearing her old New Alderaan Defense Force uniform. A scar down the right side of her neck is what remains of injuries she suffered from being shot down while on a mission over Mustafar.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Ari Naldax
  • Loyalties: She leads her own group of Rebels and renegades, known as "Ari's Rogues,"
  • Wealth: While Ari isn't particularly rich, she brings in more than enough from her consultancy role in designing fighters to provide at least a base for the military funds
  • Notable Possessions: The BlackWolf
  • Skills: Ari's foremost skill is her absolutely stellar piloting skills, making a formidable enemy in any dogfight even without the enhancements provided by the precognition and empathy the force saw fit to give her, However she also has a unique and spectacular skill for tactics and strategy, making her an excellent field commander and a keen mind for development of new fighter craft.
  • Languages: Basic
  • Personality: Vengeful but Compassionate, Brave but Wrathful, Ari truly cares about the people of the Galaxy and especially the people of her home planet. Her attitude however has been irrevocably marked by the Bryn'adul genocides, the destructive dark crusades of the maw, and the iron fist of the Empire having brought itself down on her planet. As such she has little patience for negotiations or quarter for the servants of these dark forces, and the loss of one of her pilots would likely lead her into a rage.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: The BlackWolf
  • Combat Function: A Fighter Pilot thru and thru, Ari's Kingdom truly is the sky.
  • Force Abilities (Force Users Only): Precognition, Empathy
Strengths:
  • The Pilot in the Box: Ari is among the Galaxy's best starfighter pilots, having spent years honing her craft and only made better by her untrained yet powerful skill at force precognition.
  • Force Empathy: Though it can be uncontrolled at times, Ari's natural affinity for the power of Force Empathy gives her a strong edge in discussion or debate, and also helps her to bond with her subordinates and be a strong leader
Weaknesses:
  • Cashing Checks your body can't afford: Ari's skill in the cockpit has also given her a bit of arrogance, and she's much more willing to take personal risks than most people in her trade. Her pushing things past the limit has taken a toll on her - not the least of which involved being shot down over Mustafar - and it's only a matter of time before she pushes things just a little too far.
  • Like a Bull seeing red: The other thing that can send her into a flying rage is her tendency to be wrathful and vengeful, always launching herself into a rage when the remnants of the empire, maw, or bryn show their ugly faces in whatever space she finds herself in. This has gotten so bad since leaving the Alliance that it can often cloud her vision and lead to her focusing only on killing her enemy - rather than whatever her objective is.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Born to a farming family on the storied world of New Alderaan, Ari's early life saw a rather tense era as the Sith Order wax and waned throughout the tingel arm, with the Tion Cluster finding itself broken apart, put back together, and otherwise constantly disturbed by the violence of war. Eventually, she found herself very apt at flying the skyhoppers and repulsorcraft that were used for farm work and recreationally, a skill that eventually saw her recruited for the New Alderaanian Defense Institute.

Ari was a prodigy in the seat of an X-wing, and excellent still in A-wings and Y-wings as well. Her natural talents and expert skill both at this and at the strategist saw her graduate top of her class, and assigned to her dream posting as a flight officer for the planet's Security Forces, where she served valiantly alongside her trusty R9 Unit, Keeper. She rocketed through the ranks, very quickly qualifying for the position of Flight Lead, and spending her liberty studying to become one of the youngest squadron leader in the New Alderaanian Security Forces' history. That's when everything changed.

While her flight was engaged in a diplomatic escort coreward, the Bryn'adul attacked the planet, raging across the Tingel Arm and through the Tion Cluster, leaving only death and suffering in their wake. While many were able to escape, most weren't, and Ari was forced to watch as many of her friends and family were put to death by the genocidal alien race as it purged the planet, their rampage only fueling a new, and violent, lust for vengeance.

Ari's flight went rogue to start their own Mercenary Group, "Wolf Squadron," which eventually picked up other exiles from the Bryn'adul and from the destruction of Csilla. They served on several missions as they wandered throughout the galaxy, but all of them yearned for a place they could call home. While she still longed for the Planet of her Birth, Ari eventually lead them to the Alliance, forming the backbone of the new Nemesis Squadron, and using their experience to fight the forces of evil in the Galaxy, wherever they might be. She served several years, earning commendations in battles at Foerost and other engagements.

After the Destruction of Exegol and the virtual end of conflict in the core, Ari's disillusionment with the Alliance Grew, and the suffering of people in her home planet and its neighbors cried out to her. Resigning her commission, she began building an organization to fight back against the Empire's remnants, and any others would would stamp their foot on the long-suffering of the Galaxy.
