    • One yellow sun: Argo
    • Two small barren planets with thick super hot atmospheres
    • Argos and its moon
    • Reddish gas giant and its moons
    • Asteroid belt
    • Yellow gas giant and its moons
    • Small barren ice planet
  • Location: Shares same hex as Reuss VIII, closer to Alzoc III
  • Major Imports: Machine and ship parts, small amounts of building materials.
  • Major Exports: Agricultural goods, cloth and clothing, medicinal herbs, toxic waste and salvaged materials.
  • Unexploited Resources: None, planet had been stripped of resources decades ago.
GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
  • Gravity: Standard
  • Climate: Climate controlled domes, each dome has its own climate. Outside the domes the land is arid and the air is mostly toxic.
  • Primary Terrain: Argos was once a city planet, except for a few open seas and lakes. Now the entire city is abandoned, leaving large crumbling buildings, factories and warehouse containing toxic chemicals, poisonous lakes and so on. Amongst all these ruins is a large domed city, with smaller ones scattered several kilometers away.
  • Atmosphere: Type I in the domed cities, Type II outside of the domes.
LOCATION INFORMATION
  • Capital City: Silva
  • Planetary Features:
    • The ruined city was once a thriving ecumenopolis, but is now thing more than ghostly ruin. Towers that housed trillions lie empty and crumbling. Spaceports and factories that provided trade and commerce are nothing more than roxic ruins. What's left of this massive city is being stripped down for salvage and with it are treasures that have been buried for decades.

  • Major Locations:
    • Silva: The capital city of Argos and the oasis amongst the ruins. This multi domed city is unique in a way that every dome is different, both culturally, building structures and biomes. Each dome is connected by mass transit stations and powered by advanced wind turbines and solar arrays.

    • Silva capital building: Situated at the very central of the largest dome, this structure serves as the cities and planets capital. A towering structure with hanging gardens on the outside and massive forest gardens on the inside. The entire inner structure is built more like a botanical house than a capital building. The senate room resides at the very top where it can overlook the city itself.

    • Caelum space elevator: The tallest structure on Argos. This towering structure rises from the warehouse dome and into the upper reaches of the skies. High speed turbo lifts carry both cargo and people to the large landing platform high above. All of the planet's cargo and passenger transport arrive or leave from this point, as only authorized vessels are allowed to operate with that planets atmosphere. Rapid cargo trains from every dome connect here, as well as salvage brought in from the city ruins.

    • The vault: Many just call it the vault or the saviors vault. This large seed vault was discovered in a time before the city of Silva was ever built. Salvagere exploring the great city ruins stumbled upon what would eventually save their people. Inside the vault was a vast storage of nearly every seed, plant and cloned DNA of almost every animal that once lived on Argos. The vault was originally going to put to use in a terraforming effort on one of the planet's moons in an effort to turn it into a wildlife reserve. Who founded it was unsure, but the plan didn't happen. Instead the vault saved the Argorians and helped them start rebuilding their home planet. Today the vault rests underneath the capital building.

POPULATION
  • Native Species: Argorian (Human)
  • Immigrated Species: Twi'lek, other
  • Population: Sparse: 50 million
  • Demographics: Nearly all Argorian (human), less then one percent other species. Argos was isolated for decades and its current planetary condition along with not being a well known place has led to a very low immigration rate by off-worlders or other species.
  • Primary Languages: Oratio and Galactic Basic
  • Culture:
    • Argorians are an optimistic and pacifist people, taking their lives in a slow one day at a time pace. They know their lives could be far worse off, like their ancestors who had to struggle for a living in the city ruins. Despite each dome being culturally different, most things stay the same. Everyone wakes and greets the day, whether through simple meditation, a quick stretch and a good morning, or something more religious.
    • Religion is a big part of life for the Argorians. Colorful banners and religious symbols can be found here and there, or a small shrine tucked in an alleyway. Argorians are nature worshipers and have quite a few different spirits they worship. The dominant spirit mainly depends on what dome a person resides in. Every day is met with a trip to a local shrine or temple, to either just wish for good day or to simply meditate and clear ones mind.
    • Art is both an expression of life and where one came from. Argorians put art not just in statues and paintings, but the very buildings they live in. The majority of all their artwork and designs are based off of nature in one form or another.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Argos is lead by a group of elected officials or chiefs , one representative from each dome to serve in the senate in the main dome. Each dome has a set number of officials to make important decisions. Unlike most officials, none of the elected officials on Argos are paid, instead it's all volunteer work.
  • Affiliation: Argos has no affiliations with outside governing bodies.
  • Wealth: Medium, The bulk of all trade that leaves Argos is salvage and toxic chemicals taken from the old city ruins. Agricultural goods, such as cloth and medicinal plants make up the second largest income.
  • Stability: Medium . Argos has very little if any real crime. Most of the dangers to its citizens come from the ruined city, but that normally only applies to those who work as salvagers. Pirates do pose a threat from time to time, but being part of the Trade League as offered protection from any raids.
  • Freedom & Oppression: Argorians have I high level of freedom, with the exception of harming others.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: Argos has a sizeable military presence, despite their pacifist nature they are capable of defending themselves. AA cannons and heavy turbolaser batteries dot the domes and line the height of the space elevator along with its landing platforms. Fast frigates and corvettes patrol the system alongside vessels from the Rimward Trade League.
  • Technology: Galactic Standard.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
  • Prior to the Gulag Plague and the rise of the Galactic Empire, Argos was an industrial ecumenopolis run by guilds. These guilds ran their own sections of the city, exploiting both workers and resources. Eventually the planet's resources were depleted and the guilds turned to off world sources. Which only made things get worse for the average worker as the exploration got worse, as did the power of the guild leaders.
  • The arrival of the Galactic Empire marked a rapid end for most of the guild leaders, as they were removed and Imperial officials were put in their place. Living and working conditions grew worse as Imperial forces turned the planet into a massive work camp.
  • When the Galactic Empire fell, they abandoned the planet entirely. They took their ships and resource with them, effectively stranding the citizens on a dead toxic planet, costing the lives of millions. For several decades the number of survivors slowly dwindled as they struggled to survive. Help was not coming, as many off-world believed the planet had been destroyed in a industrial accident, leaving the planet barren and dangerous.
  • Generations of Argorians survived in makeshift habitats to keep themselves safe from the toxic air and waste of the ruined city. Until one day a salvage team found a seed vault buried beneath an old science facility. Sealed and perfectly preserved deep underground. This was a sign of hope for the Argorians. The several thousand survivors that made it to the vault began the slow process of building their first permanent city.
  • For decades they built and expanded. Their domed city slowly rose from the ruins of the past. In charge of it all was a new group of leaders. Religious chieftains who followed nature spirits, some believe they were entities of the force who guided the salvagers to the seed vault. Whatever it may have been, the Argorians followed willingly, as it brought hope for a future they didn't have before.
  • Hundreds of years after their near extinction, their slow rise in survival thanks to the seed vault. The Argorians had managed to build multiple domes and a apace elevator, effectively bringing themselves back into the galaxy. The people themselves became rooted in nature worship as they believed they were saved by spirits of the force the dwelled within the planet. Their main goal has turned from basic survival, to rebuilding their planet into what it once was thousands of years before and be able to live outside the domed cities in safety.
