Intent: To create a modernized personal jet propulsion system based on the cannon designs and the advancements made with CBRW-1
Development Thread: If necessary
Manufacturer: Abregado-Rae Guild of Hammers
Model: Leovi's Wings-class Personal Jet Propulsion System
Affiliation: Barony of Abregado-Rae, Partially Omega Protectorate (See Production)
Modularity: Comes in Jetpack and Jetsuit variants. The Jetpack is just a unit worn like a backpack, as the name suggest, while a Jetsuit includes also rocket-boots and rocket-gauntlets, housing miniaturized jet systems to allow greater propulsion force to be reached. Gauntlets and boots can be removed and work independently, letting the user utilize just the rocket boots or just the rocket gauntlets.
Production: Mass
Material: Durasteel with Echani Graphite Fuel Compartments and Jet Systems

Description: The Leovi Wings jet system is an advancement in personal jet-propulsion technology building on the increased fuel capacity developed by the CBRW-1. The Leovi Wings utilize the Flamer fuel pack as jet fuel compartment, attaching the propulsion system to its 20 liters container, maintaining the jetpack's weight at 28 kilograms, same as the total weight of the backpack-mounted CBRW-1, but 2 kilograms lighter than previous top jetpack model, Z-6 jetpack.

This jetpack system is able to fire up to 30 bursts of maximum 4 second thrust, allowing the user to move maximum of 130 meters horizontally or 95 meters vertically, 3.9 kilometers total, improvement over Z-6's range of 100 meters horizontally, 70 meters vertically, and 2 kilometers total. This is not done because the Leovi's Wings are able to propel its user at faster speed, they have the same acceleration as the Z-6 pack, however, the Leovi's Wings are able to propel the user for longer periods of time due to the increased fuel capacity.

Speaking of fuel capacity, as with the CBRW-1, the fuel compartments are made from the Echani Graphite, the tough lightsaber-resistant material, from which all the vital jet systems have been fashioned as well. This comes as a great boon to systems like this for it eliminates one weakness of it, the easy sabotage and deactivation of these systems. No longer will a stray blaster shot rupture the fuel tank, or a charging beast damage its systems to prevent the pack from being used, or a semi-blind spacer knock into the pack randomly to activate it. Only high power output weaponry like the turbolasers, or ionic weaponry, are able to damage the Graphite structure so easily, ionic weapons skipping it altogether and targeting the electronic components of the pack.

However, this is somewhat compromised when the pack is used alongside of Rocket Boots and Rocket Gauntlets.
These systems take their fuel from the pack's compartments as well, meaning they have to be connected to it. These connections are not as durable as the pack's structure, therefore they could be severed if left unprotected, resulting in the failure of additional systems to power up, as well as potential fuel loss.

Speaking of the Boots and Gauntlet components, the biggest advantage of them is increased propulsion power, meaning that the users wearing them will be propelled faster than just by the jetpack itself, as more propulsion units are attached to them. This allows heavier users to be propelled by the jet systems with greater effective, such as heavily armored troops, or heavier droids, however that strongly depends on the weight of the user and gravitational field of the location in which the jet system is used. Heavier targets and stronger field can cause a slower ascension speed of the user, making them a vulnerable fighter and easily out-maneuvered by lighter foes. However, it is possible to reach the mobility with this system while wearing armor heavier than just a jetpack would allow.

What price this comes at? First, increased fuel usage, the users who choose jet-suits use as much fuel as older models, meaning a jet-suit can fire only 20 bursts of propulsion, 3 seconds each, with maximum range per burst of 100 meters horizontally, 70 meters vertically, and 2 kilometers total. Equal to that of older models, but considerably lower when compared to just the Leovi Wings Jet Pack.

Second, there's the size of these systems, clunky and heavy, bringing up total weight to 35 kilograms, this is a rather heavy equipment, it's not something as noticeably in just the Rocket Boots, they just seem bit larger than normal armored boots, but it shows in the Rocket Gauntlets. The propulsion systems for the gauntlets are mounted on the palm section, this is something that can be retractable, keeping it hidden in the side of the gauntlet until the user needs the systems activated. The problem is, while the Rocket Gauntlet propulsion systems are in their palm-position, the user cannot wield a weapon in that hand, it would be like trying to grab a pistol when you have a tennis ball glued to your palm. This restriction could be lethal during combat settings, as the user trades mobility for being able to fire, but when considering that this is meant to be used by more heavily-armored users, they should have proper armor plating to withstand barrages during that period.

Furthermore, the Rocket Gauntlets can potentially be used as weapons, using the 3-second bursts to fire hot gas into an enemy's face much like a short-range flamethrower or send them flying back with the propulsion force of the miniature jet. However, this is a very short-range effect, with up to 2 meters of rang or so, meaning it is something that could be used only point-blank.

In summary, this is an updated modern Jetpack with a Jet-suit twist to allow those more heavily-armored users the benefit of flight as well, while the Echani Graphite additions ensure high-quality durability and prevent dangerous mishaps on the battlefield. If Jango Fett wore this jetpack on Geonosis, he would survive.
