HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
Intent: To create a standardized wire and cable technology from the Echani Graphite to be used as construction material for more advanced products.
Development Thread: If necessary, based on the Graphite filament used in the TA-1 antennas
Manufacturer: Abregado-Rae Guild of Hammers
Model: Echani Graphite Cables and Wires
Affiliation: Barony of Abregado-Rae, Omega Protectorate
Modularity: Comes in different lengths and thickness based on number of filaments used during twining.
Production: Mass
Material: Echani Graphite

Description: During the production of the TA-1 for the Abregado-Rae Holovision Network, the Gados did realized something which would become a stepping stone in the development of more advanced Echani Graphite Products, lines are cylinders as well. Up to now they were thinking about cylinders made from the Graphite in terms of sturdy rounded products, such as Drums, Weapon Shafts, or round Reeds for their armor.

However, a cylinder can be made extremely thin and long, utilizing the Graphite's elasticity, as shown in the TA-1 filament development, to create wires.

So, what the Gados did was utilize the process of creating any other wire with the Echani Filaments, twining them together to create thicker, stronger ropes. Since any number of filaments can be taken together and twinned over and over, these Cables can be made into, theoretically, any thickness, ranging from thin filaments, to slightly thicker wires, to ropes, and then finally to thick cables.

This rather simple, although straight-forward method utilizes the Graphite's durability to make these cables very strong, resistant even to lightsaber strikes, while they have a potential of being used in a number of projects, including weaponry, utility creation, ship manufacturing, as well as construction work.
