Description:
[ A Slime is a sentient organism whose body appears to be entirely composed of a viscous, liquid substance resembling slime.
In its natural state, its body is translucent and does not necessarily possess a fixed shape. However, it is capable of molding its own matter in order to assume a tangible and relatively stable humanoid form.
The only known Slime generally assumes the appearance of a human female approximately 1.70 meters tall. She is also capable of forming clothing, hair, jewelry, and various physical details directly from her own substance.
This appearance primarily replicates the body she once possessed, allowing her to retain an important part of her former identity. ]
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Breathes:[ Slimes do not breathe conventionally. As their bodies are entirely composed of liquid matter, they do not possess the same respiratory requirements as humans.
As a result, they can remain submerged for extremely long periods of time and survive in the vacuum of space without suffering from asphyxiation.
The only known Slime nevertheless prefers a Type I atmosphere, primarily out of habit and for the comfort it provides. ]

Force Sensitivity:

Ayano already possessed an affinity with the Force while she was alive, and her new form retained that connection. Another individual created through a similar process would therefore not necessarily be Force-sensitive.
Her sensitivity does not grant her any particular instinctive mastery over the Force. Like any other Force-user, she must undergo training in order to properly understand and control her abilities. ]
Diet:
[ A Slime can absorb several forms of matter and energy in order to sustain its body.
Human food, water, and various other liquids can provide the substances required for its continued function. Its organism is also capable of assimilating certain contaminated or toxic liquids without suffering the usual effects of poisoning.
A Slime can also directly absorb electrical energy. This energy is primarily stored in order to power its ability to produce and discharge a concentrated plasma beam. ]
STRENGTHS
[ Slimes naturally possess translucent and polymorphic bodies. Although they can assume tangible humanoid forms, their organisms remain fundamentally liquid.This grants them exceptional resistance to conventional physical trauma. An attack piercing through their abdomen may simply pass through their body as the affected area momentarily returns to a liquid state before reforming.
Even decapitation is not necessarily fatal. As long as a sufficient amount of viable body matter remains, a Slime can reform its head and gradually restore its usual appearance.
A Slime is also capable of absorbing large quantities of electrical energy and temporarily storing it within its body. This accumulated energy can subsequently be released as an extremely concentrated plasma beam.
The beam's power directly depends on the amount of electrical energy previously absorbed. At lower output levels, it can be used for several smaller, concentrated shots comparable in effect to a railgun. Alternatively, Areyer can discharge a much larger portion of her stored energy at once, producing a powerful plasma beam capable of striking across a battlefield. The greater the output, the more energy the attack consumes. A sufficiently powerful discharge may completely deplete her reserves in a single shot, leaving her unable to use the ability again until she can absorb electricity from another suitable power source.
Because of this absorption ability, conventional electricity rarely represents a direct threat and can instead become a source of energy.
The absence of conventional respiration also allows a Slime to survive in the vacuum of space and remain conscious while exposed to it.
Its regenerative abilities are particularly advanced. A Slime can gradually regenerate a severed limb and repair damage inflicted upon its physical form. Since the clothing it generates is composed of the same substance as its body, damaged clothing can likewise be reformed.
Slimes also possess considerable resistance to extreme temperatures. Their matter only begins to freeze at approximately -140°C and does not begin to boil until approximately +300°C.
Their organisms are also highly resistant to conventional poisons and corrosive substances. ]
WEAKNESSES
[ Despite their considerable regenerative capabilities, Slimes are not immortal.To permanently kill a Slime, all viable body matter must be destroyed. As long as even an extremely small amount of viable matter survives, the individual can theoretically regenerate. However, the less material remains, the longer this process will take.
Their liquid nature allows them to pass through extremely small openings, but does not allow them to move through perfectly sealed structures. Airlocks, hermetically sealed doors, and containers designed to hold liquids therefore represent particularly effective barriers. Even a tiny opening is required for a Slime to escape.
Force-nullifying or Force-suppressing devices function normally against a Force-sensitive Slime. They suppress Force-related abilities but do not directly interfere with the Slime's biological functions, natural regeneration, or ability to produce its concentrated plasma beam.
While entirely liquid, a Slime has difficulty grasping and manipulating heavy objects. Small objects can be moved by shaping its substance around them, but lifting significant weight becomes considerably more difficult. For tasks requiring strength and precision, it generally assumes a solid humanoid form.
Shrapnel and other fragments can also become particularly troublesome. Although rarely lethal, foreign objects can remain trapped within its substance and interfere with its movement. The Slime must gradually expel these objects before regaining normal mobility.
A Slime can also be captured inside a completely sealed container. Once trapped without any exploitable opening, escaping without outside assistance can become extremely difficult.
Electrical absorption also presents certain environmental risks. If a Slime drains too much power from an electrical system too quickly, it may cause short circuits, equipment failures, or even a complete blackout.
To prevent this, Areyer primarily relies on a generator specifically designed to provide her with electrical energy without compromising the surrounding facility.
Finally, despite their exceptional resistance to extreme temperatures, exceeding their thermal limits remains extremely dangerous. Temperatures below their tolerance threshold can progressively slow and eventually freeze their substance, while excessive heat can destabilize and severely damage their bodies.
Sufficiently cold cryogenic substances could therefore cause an extremely rapid freezing of their matter. ]
CULTURE

As her new form can reproduce the characteristics of her former human body, she is capable of recreating and using her original vocal cords without significant difficulty. As Areyer lives alongside two scientists, she possesses relatively advanced knowledge of technology and the equipment used by her creators.
A Slime raised in isolation, such as in a forest or another environment devoid of advanced technology, would likely possess no such knowledge. The species therefore has no inherent technological level. ] - Religion / Beliefs: [ Areyer follows no particular religion. However, she places considerable importance on her creators and acknowledges the existence of the Force.
Her beliefs are primarily shaped by her personal experiences, her former life, and the people around her. ] - General Behavior: [ A Slime's behavior depends entirely on the individual and their personal experiences.
In Ayano's case, her former human existence continues to strongly influence her personality. Sociable, expressive, and accustomed to living alongside others, she is perfectly capable of integrating into a crew, interacting with its members, and participating in their everyday lives.
She also possesses a deep sense of loyalty toward her creators. This loyalty can quickly turn into irritation or outright hostility whenever someone threatens or attempts to harm them.
Despite her radical physical transformation, much of her behavior therefore remains deeply human. ]
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
[ The first Slime was artificially created within the Shadow Laboratory on Taspir III, following several unsuccessful experiments.The project was primarily developed by Nyva Shei, with the goal of creating a new organism capable of fulfilling Areyer's particular needs.
Before her transformation, Areyer's primary wish was to no longer suffer from pain and to no longer fear certain forms of injury, particularly those caused by lightsabers. Her new liquid constitution ultimately allowed her to achieve this goal.
The transformation also granted her the ability to absorb considerable amounts of electrical energy. This characteristic quickly caused several practical problems, as excessive consumption could disrupt the laboratory's systems or even trigger a complete power failure.
A generator specifically designed for her was therefore installed in her quarters. This allows her to absorb the energy she requires without risking the shutdown of the facility's entire electrical network.
When moving among the other members of the laboratory or crew, Areyer generally assumes her human form. She regularly shares the daily lives of her creators as well as ADA, with whom she particularly enjoys discussing everything from important matters to completely trivial subjects.
Over time, she naturally took on the role of bodyguard and protector. She takes this responsibility extremely seriously, particularly when it comes to ensuring the safety of her creators.
When she was entrusted with protecting the new laboratory established on Formac, Areyer readily accepted the assignment and made it one of her primary responsibilities. ]
