Intent: To create a personal and pocket-sized AI for [member="Romeo Sin"] to use, both as a simple assistant and any other roles Ares can fulfil

Development Thread:
Scientific Journal: The Process Behind ARES
Role Play Thread: Ares was a God

Manufacturer: Zodiac, an underground computer and AI programmer

Model: N/A

Affiliation: Ares is specifically designed to obey Romeo alone, so she is affiliated with whoever he is.

Modularity: The programming itself cannot be modified; however, the AI's droid body can be (though she likes hers, thank you!)

Production: Unique

Material: Wire stuff, orichalum-nutorium alloy, and a coating of agrinium

Classification: Third Degree

Weight: 680.05 g

Height: 15.24 cm

Movement: Bipedal

Armaments: N/A

Misc. Equipment: USB port within her hands (1 ea.)

Description:

Strengths and Weaknesses:
+Alerts user to any breach of firewall/attempts at hacking
+/- Primary user's word is law
+Is able to slice into almost anything
+Can pilot almost any ship!
+Can be transferred by user to another device
+Has access to thousands of verbal and written languages
+Has access to files on all recorded civilizations
- Her physical body is still relatively weak, meant only to be a vessel for the intelligence inside
- Can be infected with a virus
- Can be hacked/shut down
- Has difficulties with piloting large vessels (such as Star Destroyers or Death Stars)

Summary: Ares was designed and developed by a programmer who went by the name "Zodiac", for Romeo to use as a personal assistant and companion. Because Sin was a high-end client, Zodiac went all out on Ares:

The reasoning behind giving such a vicious-minded AI an adorable, innocent-looking body was so that others would either mistake it for a doll or underestimate Ares, allowing her greater movement for the king. Not to mention, Zodiac liked irony.

Ares is capable of aggressively taking over most electronics she comes across, either via a wireless connection or with her port. This includes civilian ships. However, there ARE strong enough firewalls nd security protocols which can and will stop her; for a king's use, though, she does enough. Big ships are more difficult to take over and are therefore out of her capabilities range; that doesn't mean she can't wreck havoc, though. Thanks to her port, too, she can actually move herself from her little droid body into another system, causing all the havoc she wants. Or rather, that Sin wants.

Zodiac also uploaded Ares with every type of language and culture background he could find, so that she may be able to provide advice and translations for Sin while conducting business. Therefore, she is like a walking archive when it comes to those things.

That being said, Ares -- or her body, at least -- is not designed for combat, because Ares mainly excels in cyber warfare. Though her body is durable enough to withstand most dings and dents, if something heavy like a Hutt were to be dropped on her she would be crushed, probably terminated.

Also, pretty much being a sentient computer program, Ares is susceptible to being attacked by viruses and other malware, and though she is usually able to hold it off or defeat it, there will always be a virus that has the capabilities to overpower her.

One of the last things built into Ares is her obey-one function. In order to prevent sabotage, Zodiac programmed into Ares a permanent function, where she would only obey one person -- the client. This is made near-permanent by Zodiac speaking a special key phrase, and then Sin saying his name, allowing Ares to imprint on him and take his word as law.

I've actually been meaning to ask, if I am able to continue working on the dev thread with this character and my other one, would it be possible for these to be archived until the threads are completed? That way they do not clutter the tech factory.
