Are they really like me? (Exploring Hutt history)

He looked through the species guide in the Voss Archives through a computer. Ho'Din, Howlruner, Hssiss, Hutt. Just what he was looking for. He had actually never read beyond the basic biography of Hutts, and had never seen another one. Today, that's what he was going to do.

What he saw next shocked him. As he came to the history of Hutts, he found out that they were selfish, ruthless, and consumed power. He also found out that most of them were crime lords, and they were very cruel. He could never imagine doing such things.

He never knew Hutts could be so evil and feared, when he was just an innocent Jedi. He wondered what his parents were like. Probally crime lords also, and they might've had to be killed to get him out.

About the time that the Hutt initiate was perusing the library, Arisa was coming through, looking to do some research on Tsil, colloquially referred to as Spook Crystals. A recent run-in with a massive dark side entity had prompted her to start developing some heavy duty countermeasures for her fellow Silvers and their allies. One of the Silver Jedi's specialties as an Order was the development of such items.

Passing through the
aisles of the library, she would take notice of Mr. Kirigo. It was hard not to take notice of the Hutt, those beings such a rare sight on Voss. Their natural ambitious nature as a race, coupled with cultural upbringings that usually encouraged selfish behavior (loyalty to their individual clans before all else), often put Hutts at odds with the teachings of the Jedi.

"How are you today, Mr. Kirigo?" she asked as she came up beside him.

((I was formerly the Watchman over the Silver-controlled areas of Hutt Space, including Klatooine, so this should be fun!))

He looked at her, trying to get the shock off his face. "I'm doing.. fine." He looked a bit doubtful.

He turned away and sat completely still for two minutes, before going back to looking at the computer. "Is this.. really true?" he asked nervously, looking at the Hutt history database. "Are the rest really... that bad?" he said, becoming a bit more quiet.

At this point, he was very nervous. He now knew why others had made fun of him in his youth, or viewed him as a hideous beast. It was a big truth, and for all he knew he was possibly the only one who wasn't evil.

She couldn't read Mr Krirgo's mind, but his tone and expression suggested that something was troubling him greatly. She just offered a look of concern, not at all bothered by the Hutt's appearance. In her time working out of Klatooine and the Si'Klaata Cluster, she had come across many a Hutt during her work in the region.

She moved to followMr Krirgo to table as he rested to view something. Peeking around him, she glossed over the words to see that he was looking at something regarding the people of his own race. Was these particular texts the cause of his disturbance?

"
Mr Krirgo, is everything alright?"
