Strengths and Weaknesses:++Skilled warrior: Ardgal has been trained since his youth to be a strong warrior and an honorable opponent

++Philosophical: beneath the helmet is a deep, rich mind. Probing and always full of a desire to see the galaxy as peaceful--despite his work.
+/- Honor bound: unlike most within the galaxy, Ardgal is bound by a heavy code of honor. For instance, despite his ability to do so, Ardgal refuses to kill those weaker than him most of the time, he sees it as a taint upon his honor.

"Our rules are what separate us from the animals." Ardgal holds that slaughter is wrong, he will not kill an unarmed person (he never considers Force Users unarmed), will not hide behind women and children, and looks to protect the weak. If you want an idea of what his ethics are, look to classic honor. Real honor.

A taint against this man's honor is not soon forgotten. While he will not go off assaulting people for small slights, he does give out in the same measure he was given with rare exception.
--PTSD:
Argal has served across many planets and seen many die. Some were family, some were friends. His own parents died before him in the hour during a siege. War has ravaged his mind, even though its made him a brilliant tactician, the flashbacks and survivor's remorse is strong in him.
--God Complex:
Quite literally, Ardgal believes he is a god. A sect of Vong captured the general during a routine job for a small rebellion ((See thread "heeding the call")). They twisted and tortured his body and mind, making him believe he was a minor deity incarnate. A god of War (but not murder or slaughter), Order, conquest, and society. On the plus side, he champions these things like few others. On the downside.... well, he has a lot of theatrics, is not one to listen to correction, and is this is a bit of a turn off for some to deal with him, regardless of anything else.

Biography:Ardgal was born and raised in a mobile mercenary company. To say he had no real homeworld is an understatement, as he lived from one battle field to the next. His parents were both members of a commando unit called Raxis Alpha Company. The RAC consisted of 400 commandos, a detachment who for several generations had been away from the Raxis Clan, working as a private army for the right bidder and cause. He, like the other RAC youth, learned war from his parents. It was a life chosen for him, like them. He learned to fight war, and more than than that he learned the art of strategy, leadership, and overland warfare by the RAC's general and leader, Ordo Raxis.
When he was fifteen, Both of Ardgal's parents were killed in a siege on Geonosis. The warrior was devastated, he turned his armor in and forsook the RAC for a time. He traveled the galaxy alone as little more than a common gun. He grieved the loss of his parents for several years before returning to the RAC. Here he earned his place once more in the crew, but more than that, he worked his way up to the rank of General over the military. When the Raxis Empire presented itself, he saw it wise to bring his family once more into the fold of the Raxis clan and help to bring about this Empire, setting his own private kingdom up on Rodia.
