- Sithly Long Arm: A spear made in the same fashion as a Sith sword, The spear is very resilient to damage of all kinds. It can be felt through the force as the Dark side presence of the spear. It also has an upgraded form of the ability to absorb lightning or electrical based abilities and weapons to a much greater degree.
- Lightning in Your Palm: Using a very pure form of gold as the core of the spear, the weapon can absorb lightning to a very high capacity. More so, the weapon can hold a Lightning or electrical charge much longer than a Sith sword. Your Kindred weapons would release all of the energy at once into the target. The spear can do likewise, but can hold a charge for a handful of strikes compared to just one. Secondly, Energy that is put into the weapon is then amplified back upon the victim.
- Long Arms: As with any kind of long weapon, Enclosed spaces will be more difficult to use the weapon. Secondary to this, A spear is best used at a longer reach than that of a sword. Thusly, should an opponent enter your reach, it can be difficult to defend ones self.
- Not that Kind of Light: As a weapon of the Dark side of the force, The weapon can be damage, nullified, or destroyed through usage of Force Light, or Wall of light abilities.
- Without Energy: Force nullification fields can render inert the capabilities of the spear. Secondary, any electrical charges the weapon has will also be nullified.
- Balloons and Long Hair: The electrical charges within the spear poses a downside to any kind of electrical device within the vicinity of the weapon. The spear amplifies the charge so much, that static electricity is created to such a degree, that it can hamper devices, arc a small zap to devices, or even other metals that can act as a conduit. Allies should be wary when the spear has a charge for they might get zapped by accident. The same goes for the wielder that may have armor, or a faraday cage somewhere close too them. This accidental zap, does use one of the charges within the weapon.
A commission for a particular individual who wanted a weapon that could fight the Dark side of the force. Shaun began to work and gather his materials for a spear. Specifically, a weapon that could be used to defend itself well against Dark siders and their ability to use force lightning. One of the most corrupting uses of the Force. As such, It was only reasonable for a Sith sword to be made, in the form of a spear.
Using an alloy that was fairly light to reduce the impact of alchemy induced weight, As well as a core of the purest form of gold to absorb lightning as well as electrical charges in general. It produced the effect of being able to absorb lightning, and instead of using that singular use of a charged Sith spear, It uses over the course of multiple strikes or hits. Downside to this, is that with so much energy charged and stored within the weapon, electrical devices that got too close to the spear could cause an arc of lighting to lash out and use one of the charges of the weapon.
Sharpened with a fairly long blade, and forged with an ornate design, This lightning spear, aptly named Ardet, or Thunderstruck, is just the kind of spear a person would need to fight anyone who happened to use Force Lightning.
