BACKGROUND

Arden Priest was born beneath the glare of Rothana's shipyard fires. He grew up among the icebound scaffolds of industry, where the air stank of coolant and the snow turned gray with soot instead of melting. His mother worked maintenance shifts on a drydock, keeping the massive war machines running through the blizzards. His uncle, a weathered veteran with more scars than medals, taught him the Resol'nare between furnace shifts. For Arden, these core tenets were not scripture; they were simply rules for survival.

Arden's trial of passage, his verd'goten, was far from ceremonial. His true trial came during a massive storm that swallowed half the northern rigs. He led three trapped workers out of the wreckage, frostbitten and half-blind, carrying one of them on his back through the worst of the blizzard. When his uncle finally located him, he offered only a single, stark affirmation: "You understand now. You don't stop. Ever."

The call came from Mand'alor the Iron, broadcasting the demand for all Mandalorians to return home. Arden didn't hesitate. He left Rothana with nothing but his forged armor and his uncle's beskad, convinced the new Empire might finally offer him purpose beyond mere survival. Now, serving in the infantry ranks of the Warband Rebuilder, he operates as a soldier who measures personal worth by what you can actually carry through the storm.
