Name: Archon Facility

Classification: Secret Mainframe Facility. Tech Research Facility.

Location: Deep in the Anoat Asteroid Field.

Affiliation: None.

Description: The Archon facility is hidden deep within the Anoat Asteroid Field, near Hoth. It is housed in a medium sized asteroid, surrounded by other asteroids. The facility itself is only visible at the hangar entrance and a small observation lab built into the surface of the asteroid. The hangar bay has a pressurization/depressurization system installed which takes about 2 minutes to cycle. Once inside the facility it has a few major points of interest. The Hangar, The Mainframe Room, The Tech Lab, Living Quarters, Generator Room, and Observation Facility. The entire station is very utilitarian in nature. The facility was built using signal blocking durasteel alloy in addition to the natural dissonance created by the asteroid field itself. There is only one entrance to the facility, through the hangar. There are no defenses on the exterior as the facility's intent is to remain hidden as its strength. Interior defenses include two standard laser turrets located in the hangar as well as two interior security droids.

The Hangar: The hangar is the only entrance to the facility, a large set of blast doors act as a seal once closed for the pressurization/depressurization system installed in the hangar. Once inside the hangar, and once it is depressurized, visitors can walk freely however in order to dock effectively, a ship will have to use mag-locked gear as there is gravity plating on the interior of the hangar which is designed in a circular pattern.

The Mainframe Room: This room is about 30 ft by 40 ft in size and houses 6 server racks rigged with liquid cooling. In addition to the 6 server racks, the floor has space for more if required or desired. Built into the room is a fire suppression system which uses a mix of argon, nitrogen, and CO2 to suppress a fire without damaging the equipment. This is also the housing place for TMS-471, the tactical mainframe system designed to process a variety of tactical problems and situations. Upon entering the room, there is a small desk with two integrated monitors and input panel. In addition to these peripherals there is an input panel that rises from the surface to accept a variety of data storage devices. On the wall to the left of the desk is a large holo-projected screen mounted on the wall. This room has been made impervious to outside signals and is RFI secured. The server racks are impact reinforced on a standard vibration reducing chassis.

The Tech Lab: This room is slightly larger than the server room. Inside of it are various bins of computer hardware equipment as well as what appears to be a Lab in one of the corners. The small lab consists of several free standing islands in the center with grounding straps wired into the tables themselves. The surface of the tables is coated in an anti-electrostatic solvent/sealant. In addition, power panels are available at the center of each island, a variety of power ports available for use, all standard, anything out of the ordinary would require an adapter. Along the far wall of the lab from the entry are a long row of large metal cabinets containing organized computer components and circuitry. This takes up the entire wall. It is important to note that there are no windows in this room. As in the server room, an "ANCO2" Mix is able to be delivered through a fire suppression system installed in the ceiling of the lab.

Living Quarters: This section of the facility is divided into 8 pods, one main corridor connecting each living pod. Each pod is housed entirely in the rock of the asteroid. The individual rooms are identical to each other, roughly 16 feet deep and 8 feet wide. A double bunk is located at the rear of the room, on the left a desk with a data terminal, the right, a small metal chair and large metal trunk. These rooms are very slick and metallic, they are tied into the ventilation system to promote oxygen flow within the facility. The rooms look mostly bare, designed with utility in mind, not comfort.

Generator Room: The Generator room contains both the main power generator for the facility as well as the primary ventilation control unit. This unit condenses and recycles the oxygen on the station and as well allows for large tanks of pure oxygen or an oxygen/nitrogen mix to be connected via large tank from a small hidden blast door on the asteroid's surface. The generators are also housed here, the entire room as large as the main hangar bay.

The Observation Facility: The observation facility is located very near the surface of the asteroid, resting just below the outer edge inside of a crater. In this part of the facility, a small shielded observation deck, complete with windows and peripheral communication and observation equipment consisting of several high power scanners and radio frequency scanners. This particular room is used mostly for observation and communication but has yet to be entirely set up. Some standard high power communications equipment is installed however there is a lot of work that still needs to be done, it appears that it was in the process of being completed and abandoned.

History: This structure has been in existence for at least 3 years. 8 Months ago, it was renovated and updated to house a new technology project. At that point TMS-471 was booted up in the Mainframe Room.

Intent: To create a birthplace for TMS-471 as well as provide a possible location for further RP later on. It may hold some significance in the future, and I would like it to be an established location.

If you could provide a brief description of each of these, that would be great. Other than that, the submission looks great and little else needs to be done.

Now as so you know, PC AIs need to be subbed to be used. So, while you can create the location for your AI, you're going to have to make a subbed under technology creation. I can approve this when we get done with the relatively minor edits and it's ready, but you'll have to submit your PC AI to Factory.

Alrighty! I've updated the post with locations, in addition I'm working on getting a PC AI submission put together for TMS-471. Do you want me to tag you there as well or just submit and wait as per usual?

Thanks!

Just submit as usual. No need to tag me there.

Everything looks good to me here. The descriptions look great. I'll go ahead and move the approval along here. Good luck to you on the Factory side.

Approved Pending Secondary.
