An encoded communications system is also built into the hood and the lights seen around the set of armor are actually holoprojectors for communication and disorientation of the enemy. These projectors can emit sudden flashes for blinding and also allow the wearer to create 3D representations of buildings, ships and areas they plan on targets as well as allowing them to project similar representations of their surroundings to their handlers or other Sentinels. During stealthy operations, these lights can be deactivated.

Description:

This particular set of armor was also requested by the Reformation after their contract signing with Stargo Enterprises. This armor is meant to serve as a light-weight robe/armor combination for the Jedi Sentinels of the New Jedi Order. As Sentinels, the Jedi are assigned to espionage missions, recon operations and even assassination wet work on Sith HVTs. To accommodate this lifestyle, while still staying true to a Jedi's traditional robes, Stargo Enterprises created an armor set that utilized a variety of different materials. This allowed them to create a flexible set of armor that offered decent protection and great mobility to the user while accommodating some key elements to assist them in their missions.

Armor Weave makes up the largest percentage of the robes, allowing for protection against slugs and blaster fire without sacrificing mobility. It also offers protection from light melee attacks and shrapnel/debris that could be kicked up during a battle or an escape, an important feature for those who may find themselves frequenting the battlefield. Durable and flexible Flex-Armor was used on major join locations such as the knees, elbows, ankles and wrists to offer light but unobstructing protection from falls and light attacks. Blast Armor, a light armor known for its ability to displace energy and protect the wearer from energy based attacks and cold weather, is used on the legs and arms to allow for more light-weight protection. This brings us to the sturdiest part of the armor, Verpine Fiber Mesh. This durable material, renowned for its all-round protection, is heavier than the rest of the armor and not very flexible. Thus why the Stargo Engineers placed the material on the chests and back where they would provide maximum benefit. Finally, in the way of materials, Plastoid was used in the gauntlets, boots and utility belt to offer strong protection without sacrifice to overall mobility.

The hidden blade in the gauntlet of the armor is tucked away under overlapping layers of plastoid to make it harder to detect on scanners. Due to its positioning right below the control panel for the communications systems, most people who see the blade on scanners will mistake it for electronic wiring and inner workings. Those who don't, however, will have a difficult time proving there is truly a blade inside as the blade is only accessible by using the force to open two very specific latches within the gauntlet itself. The first latch lets a hidden compartment fall open and the second allows the blade to spring for from the opening. To master the ejecting of the blade takes weeks of practice using telekinesis to open the latch and spring the blade, something a non-NJO Sentinel would be unable to accomplish without knowledge of its inner workings.

All-in-all this armor provides the Sentinels with a light-weight armor capable of soundly protecting them from blasters, slugthrowers, melee and some lightsaber damage.
