ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Improved Sensor Array
  • Enhanced Communications Network
  • Database Synchronization Network
  • Meditation Chamber
  • Jamming Array
  • Cloaking Field
Strengths:
  • Sprinter: The Arcane Scion is fast. Fast enough to outrun most Capital-class ships.
  • Defensive Systems: The ship boasts UltraChrome Plating, Deflector Shield, and Stealth Array. Because sometimes you just can't out run them.
  • Database Sync Network: The ship is able to synchronize with the Holonet Database, as well as various private databases (As Voph acquires access to them), no matter it's position in the galaxy. Mostly.
  • Enhanced Comms Network: The ship is designed to be a Communications platform in the event that normal communication arrays are destroyed or otherwise non-functional. It has the ability to broadcast messages up to several parsecs away.
  • Meditation Chamber: In addition to the above features, Voph installed a Meditation Chamber to allow amplified Force Abilities while he is aboard the ship.
  • Jammin': The ship features a jamming array, able to shut down enemy communications to prevent them from reporting the ship's location.
Weaknesses:
  • Lover, not a Fighter: The ship has no weapons.
  • Sprinter, but no finesse: The ship is fast, but can't turn very well.
  • Loud-mouth: The Communications array disrupts both the Jammer and the Stealth Field. Neither can be active while the Comms Array is online.
  • Database Sync: While Synchronizing data, the ship is easily find-able on sensors.
  • Now you see me, now I'm gone: The Hyperdrive can charge, but not activate, while the Stealth Field is active. There is a small window between shutting down the Stealth Field and Activating the Hyperdrive in which the Scion is vulnerable.
Description:
After a few months operating as head of the Octarchy Covenant, Voph saw the need for a smaller, more discreet flagship. He commissioned the Arcane Scion to be that ship, offering the low-profile that his Star Destroyer did not. Often used as his personal ship in matters of business and pleasure, the Scion is designed with speed in mind, transporting Voph from one end of the galaxy to the other in a timely manner. The ship is crewed by a pilot, co-pilot, two Comms Officers, two technicians, and two tactical officers. The crew works rotating shifts to maintain full effectiveness around the clock.

After the incident on Dohmus Prime, Voph designed the ship with defense in mind. Ultrachrome plating paired with a Stealth Field Generator constitutes the defensive systems the Scion is equipped with. Not without its drawbacks, however. Voph has no interest in engaging in conflict aboard the Scion, and thus did not equip the ship with weapons. The various communications systems the ship is equipped with interfere with the Stealth Drive, however, and Voph must chose between them, removing all communications abilities while the ship is stealthed.

The ship is divided into crew and passenger sections, with the pilots and crew occupying the lower deck, and Passengers occupying the upper deck. The Cockpit is located at the nose of the ship, and the observation deck is located one fourth of the way down the dorsal ridge of the ship.
