"Whether we need to withdraw or press to complete the lieutenant's objective..." The Lasat continued, keeping both women in her peripheral as she lanced ahead, making her way towards the nearest set of nearly routed troopers. "We will need manpower."

While completing objectives, both overt and covert, would be what allowed mercenaries to have more lucrative contracts - Kebii'kara was of the opinion that those who stuck their neck out for the help tend to earn their respect. Respect meant repeat customers.

"Lieutenant, Corporal?" She addressed the two again. "Which of you is more comfortable with pulling rank? We will need someone to rally around, else we'll just get overrun."

"Corporal Luith," Ami said. "Command pretty much bug food and comms are fracked so we're blind here. I guess the objective is to clear these bugs, I suppose you can do that eh Slick?"
Binn nods helmet on "Well met Corporal Luith, I will try to have Sparks patch your comms through our network." She motions and a Quarren with a comically large pack with three tall radio antenna sticking straight up heads by.

Binn sighed under the helmet while the comm was closed, she looked around. Bolts flew all over, the garrison was in bad shape but Urta and another Quarren, Quash had both taken to fire duty Quash was the closer of the two.

Binn looked at the unfamiliar ally "You are right. What's your name?" There was a pause "Quash, Vello, Ariun, and Mal swing over here to get the pressure off the garrison. When the next shuttle of my troops arrive we full on push them." The blaster fire still rang out, for here it was less audible over the flames Urta was hurling at the Krykna... while he advanced.

Binn Commed the ship "This is Binn, what's the Eta of he second and third shuttle?"
The captain responded disgruntled "It appears to be four minutes till touch down, the next group will be heading down eleven minutes after. Unless you want to send the shuttle you came down on back?"

It was a great idea Shuttle, return to the ship... She hopped over to the local shuttles comm "Pilot I need yo to go back and pick up more troops." A simple "Affirmative" came back.

"I dunno Chicken Legs!" Ami shrugged firing upon the incoming bugs. "Ask Slick! He's the one wearing the Captain's armor!" With command dead or missing, there was only one person in charge. Hopefully, this guy knows what he's doing.

"So Slick!" Ami said. "I guess we'll all follow your lead then!"

Ami continued to advance through the snows firing at every bug she saw. "Keep going! I'll provide some cover fire! Where the frack is this drop ship you all are talking about?!"

Objective II: The Break

“Captain, transmission from the Ragnarok,” a comms officer called out.

“Put him through,” Kato replied, stepping up to face the holoscreen.

”Captain Dréze, thank you for distracting the enemy. Thanks to you, I now have an even better plan.”

Kato nodded in appreciation. As Captain Von Strauss explained the strategy, the holographic tactical map was updated, visualizing the plan including ship movements and vectors of attack. It was a viciously elegant maneuver, capitalizing on the superior speed and firepower of the Imperial ships.

”Ragnarok line will push through the new avenue, while Fenrir will push around. Our fighter craft will disconnect from our force to bomb their carrier and larger vessels, reconnecting when the majority of the squadron comes together. So, I only ask you Dréze to try not to shoot my ships.”

“Excellent, Captain,” Kato responded with a smile, “that will put the rebels right where we want them. I will pull out more of their ships to widen the avenue for your approach and I’ll detail my gunners to be mindful of where they are aiming,” he finished with a small smirk.

If the fleet could pull off this maneuver then the majority of the rebel defense force would be annihilated. Kato hoped that the destruction would force the remaining defenders to surrender. It would be the best outcome for everyone involved, however he knew that rebels were not so logical. It was more likely that they would fight on to the last man. His greater fear was that they would do something rash, like scuttle the entire station.

“Helm, all engines full stop,” Kato ordered, Medusa and Perseus, full stop. All corvettes, hard turn toward them, move across to meet at their forward position. All squadrons, support the vanguard now.”

“We’re not closing the trap?” Carver asked, becoming anxious again for the safety of the forward vessels.

“You heard Captain Von Strauss, the trap just became much bigger. This will break their fleet. We’ve lured out some of their ships but we can do better. So we’re going to give them more bait.”

Carver nodded in understanding, though her expression remained solemn. She looked out at the frigates. Even with the increased fighter support they were being flanked on all sides by rebels, including a larger cruiser. The Siren and Vexis wouldn’t be able to do much to help besides drawing fire.

“They will be fine,” Kato said softly. Moments later, more rebel corvettes started a push toward their lines. Their fighters formed up for attack runs. With all of the TIE fighters committed to defending the vanguard, other rebel fighters began to pepper the Gargoyle. Its point-defense cannons spewed lines of green laser fire to repel them.

“We have to time this just right,” he continued. The battlemap showed the Ragnarok pushing forward along the avenue approach. The moment had arrived.

“Helm, engage forward engines. Prepare to divert all weapons power to the forward guns. Increase targeting sensitivity, there will be a high risk of friendly fire if we’re not careful. Fire on my mark,” Kato called out. He watched the battlemap closely as it updated, second by second. There was a yellow point indicated ahead of both fleets. That’s where the trap would shut around the rebels and they would be caught in a deadly crossfire.

The Parliament was a collected but sadistic buzzsaw as she butchered the mad insects trying to overwhelm her and the others.

With every strike, she cut down another of the traitors in her head, saying nothing as her red blade lashes through armored carapaces and claw. She wanted them all dead. She even wanted her own citizens dead for being completely blindsided by the civil war.

Why didn't I see it? she asked as she butchered, expression calm and placid. She was anything but that. A million insane things ran through her head. Getting one of her Star Destroyers to raze the surface in a fit of pique. Random torture. Mutilation. All that was in her head now was violence, pain, and betrayal, and ideas of how to inflict that on others.

She wanted to drown this world and everything in it just because. She had even ordered Moya killed. That's how far gone she was. It made no difference now. It might have in the past.

The Parliament stuck close, expression unchanging as her red lightsaber slashed through bodies, spilling gore. There was nothing inside her head but evil. No trace of the magician who had once pulled rabbits out of hats to entertain children remained. It was difficult to say just when that person had died. The Parliament, for her side of the matter felt it had been when she had her mortal self killed on Dantooine, but that was a story for another time.

For now, all that mattered was how much death she could inflict before she was stopped...

Fleet:

Augustus felt the rush of the Ragnarok's engines as they hit full power. They were already going fast, trying to go around the enemy fleet, but with their new headings and the order to go full power, it felt like the symphony was becoming more of an overture.

He watched as his squadron began to split up into lines of six ships, one destroyer, two cruisers, and three corvettes. As they approached the enemy, he pressed a button on his podium and said, "All weapons hold till my command."

He watched the enemy vessels get closer and closer; he watched the barrage of fire become heavier as the rebels realized what was happening. Too late, Augustus thought, "All stations, open fire!"

The ellipsoid bridge of the Ragnarok was placed behind the heavier weapons systems, he watched as each barrel flung energy and ordinance into the rear of unsuspecting ships or into the face of ships who realized too late the trap they had fallen into. Augustus could see the streaks of missiles as they punched into the hulls of enemy ships, detonating in blasts of superheated durasteel. He saw rebel fighters thrown into disarray as they were caught in the middle of a barrage of megamaser fire. He watched as his fighters launched ion torpedoes and missiles into their carrier, disabling sections of their shield. His ship jerked upward from the blasts all around.

Just as fast as they arrived, Jormungandr Squadron streaked through the enemy fleet, exiting on the other side, leaving behind a trail of explosions and disabled ships. As his squadron reformed into their defensive onion, he already churned out another order.

"All ships prepare portside turn, we will fall in with Captain Dréze's task force." He looked forward to his pit officers, "Status?" He asked.

"Sir, Fenrir took the brunt of the fire from the station, one of their engines is failing, but shields are holding." One officer stated, "Multiple injuries, but no casualties."

Another officer responded, "Mjolnir, Gungnir, Gram, and Ymir are all reporting moderate damage. Few casualties, and reduced shield output."

"All other ships are reporting minimal to moderate damage with few casualties." Another stated, "Starfighters are rejoining, it looks like we only lost about a squadron to two squadrons per line, Sir."

Finally, his ship's technician looked up to him, "Aft sections 122-125 took a missile, injuries and casualties reported. More than a few weapons are down or barely functioning, shields are holding at 62%. But, overall we should be good for the rest of the battle, if we stick to standard tactics. Sir."

"Good, we didn't lose too much. Get me the names of the casualties so I can jot them down in the red book. Get me in contact with Captain Dréze." Augustus let out a long exhale, they survived. The strategy was unorthodox, so it carried risks, but it did exactly what they planned. He struck a decisive blow to the enemy and now it was time for the clean up. "Dréze, it's time for you to shine. We sustained moderate damage, so we'll rejoin your formation as soon as we turn around. We softened them up for you, now show them the might of the Imperial Navy." He saluted before ending the transmission. His squadron was made up of fast ships, but they needed to burn off some speed, so they planned on making a long turn before rejoining with Dréze's force.

Binn looked at the unfamiliar ally "You are right. What's your name?"
"Kebii'kara of House Solus." the Lasat gave an introductory nod, taking a moment to let her drakeling take to wing like a falconer, pausing for a few beats. Unseen, she relied upon the eyes of her companion to give a real-time survey of the situation.

"But for the purposes of comms, BLUFOR 1-1, current frequency is-" she rattled off the comms that those who are on the ground, screaming with defiance, fear, or agony causing the Lasat to wince as she caught the tail end of the conversation between the Lieutenant and her peers.
Ami continued to advance through the snows firing at every bug she saw. "Keep going! I'll provide some cover fire! Where the frack is this drop ship you all are talking about?!"

"Four mikes out!" Kebii'kara answered, refocusing her presence in the Force, addressing the Corporal. "You follow "Slick", provide suppressing fire. BLUFOR 1-2" she motioned to the cyborg who was a bit... too enthused in destroying the mutant arachnoids. One didn't need to be attuned to the Force "and I will try and relieve pressure on evac. Exfil zone bearing thirty meters east southeast." she explained, Beviin's eyes became hers, the unspoken link between Kebii and her companion providing the routes needed.

"We ready? Three-two-one-execute!" with that, the quartet of women went forth to their respective objectives.

TN/TL;DR: Local Lasat attempts to herd vengeful cyborg ( Laertia Io Laertia Io ) towards what can be construed as "the bugs that help coordinate the canon-fodder" with the intent to relieve pressure on the current assault that the Imperials are suffering. Meanwhile Amiggie Lutih Amiggie Lutih and Binn Toskros Binn Toskros would use the fact that they aren't aforementioned cyber-shredder and Mandalorian from out of town to corral the Imperial Troopers to evacuate the more heavily injured with the first shuttle, before coordinating to press outwards and establish a pocket where Lt. Toskros can resupply with the bulk of her own squadron (presumably the second shuttle) to complete the side-objective "get them funky arachnoid eggs".
