Rick had managed to reserve a large water tank at the far left corner of the Silver Rest.
He would be putting it to good use, as he would be training fellow Jedi for the first time in his life. The Force was still relatively new to him, but Rick had finally progressed through the society of the Silver Jedi enough to find his place. He was now the prefect of a House and a Knight active on the Order's affairs, and by teaching the next generation, he was doing his part.

He stood at the edge of the clear tank, encased in a jumpsuit. On the nearby wall were jumpsuits and rebreathers for those attending. As his students began to fill in the tank's rim, Rick briefly addressed them.

"Thank you for attending my class, I assure you that you'll learn many things today."

Then, still facing his students, he hopped in the water. The moment he submerged, the water became an extension of his body, a fifth limb to be manipulated and shaped. Rick hadn't bothered with a rebreather, since his lungs were perfectly capable of handling multiple hours worth of water. He floated about five meters down before spreading out his arms, halting his descent.

When Reggie arrived, he saw the jumpsuits and rebreathers on the wall. Seeing that the instructor had on a suit, the young Padawan wasted no time putting on a suit and grabbing a rebreather.

"I appreciate the opportunity to take lessons from you Knight Kaloo."

Reggie responded to what Rick said to the class, excited to get started. He watched the knight submerge into the water, giving his full attention to the instructor.

After floating down deep, Rick remembered that he had a class to teach.
He rose up at an incredibly fast pace, taking a little under a second to ascend ten meters. His head popped out of the water with a splash, and he examined his students as he lay in his natural element. He noticed that they were putting on their scuba gear, and promptly gave them their next instructions.

"Jump in now." said Rick calmly. "It doesn't matter whether you can swim or not, the rebreathers should keep you perfectly safe, and you'll be able to manipulate the waters soon enough."

"Meet me halfway down the tank, or around fifteen meters down. There is where my teaching will begin." concluded Rick.

Then, Rick once again descended, awaiting for his class to join him in the calm, clear blue waters of the glass tank.

The art of Cyrokensis was a skill that Tana was quite the specialist in, having used such a skill many times in combat, most notably was against a Sith who used PyroKensis a lot. Such a fight had more devolved into a magic battle between two opposing mages then Jedi and Sith.

As such any lesson to further said skills was certainly worth attending, himself having arrived at the tank along with [member="Reggie Faayare"]. "Scuba rebreathers, nice choice but I will not be needing it", thanks to training in breath control by a Master Natuka which more or less allowed him to go without air for quite a while.

Wearing his nexus armor suit, due to it's water proofing, the newly appointed knight jumped in after the Moncal teacher, swimming down to where he was waiting.

Seeing [member="Tanaski Yumi"] jump in without a rebreather made Reggie sigh and scratch the back of his head. Reggie knew how to use breath control, but didn't believe that he was proficient enough to use it at the moment, which made him ashamed of himself for not practicing the skill more. He could practice the skill during the class, but the young Padawan was more focused on the current lesson instead of practicing another skill.

Reggie finally jumped in the water and swam down to where the instructor and the Knight was waiting. He focused his mind once again and prepared for the lesson.

Drystan dove into the pool with perfect form & grace.

The water was temperate, due to it being open to the warm air & sunlight of Kashyyyk. Even without the wetsuit, she would have felt only a slight drop in temperature, but with it, she was quite comfortable. Her blonde hair had been tied back into a tight bun, and she wore a rebreather attached to her face & mouth... unlike [member="Tanaski Yumi"] (who had entered the water without one), she did require a means of surviving in the water.

She was capable of placing herself into a state of hibernation... but such a skill was not useful under-water.

The clear blue waters welcomed her, and she kicked her legs, diving deeper, joining [member="Reggie Faayare"], [member="Rick Kaloo"], Yumi, and the others.

This was probably the most unusual setting for a class she'd ever been in in Silver's Rest, yet, at the same time, one of the enjoyable settings. After all, who didn't enjoy a chance to relax in the water? and getting to learn to manipulate the medium, that was the icing on the cake.

The newly knighted Jedi pulled at the collar of her suit as she affixed the rebreather to her face, sucking in a deep breath to make sure it was working, the overly clean, mechanical tasting aira sign that it was safe as she stepped off the edge of the platform, letting her body sink into the warm fluid embrace of the water, dropping to join the rest of the class as she gave a small wave of her hand. Sorry I'm late. And bless Josh and Jairdain for teaching her to speak with telepathy for moments like this.

As Rick watched his class hop in, he examined his students.

Mostly humans, and he recognized none of them. But he didn't care for any of it, as long as they could understand Rick's teachings.

As Rick came to a stop in the water and his students came to level with him, he reached out into all of their minds and began speaking to them.

{Hello, class. Today, you will learn how to manipulate the element of water. It is very useful in many situations, from hydrating yourself in the hottest of deserts to holding back entire floods. But the latter is a much more advanced method, that I could teach you privately in future lessons.}

{Your first task is to simply reach out with the Force, and feel the presence of the water throughout the tank. Try to push it as you would with a heavy rock, and create a distortion in the tank. Once you have done so, I will guide you through mastering the liquid surrounding you.}

In the meantime, Rick followed his own instructions, his hands flowing lazily through the water. It began to churn around him, bubbling and creating spiraling currents.

Tana had quickly noticed the beautiful presence of [member="Drystan Marakos"] as she entered the water, the young boy giving a thumbs up to the relatively new master. Her current hair style also being quite nice, not so dissimilar to his own, seemed she was quite the graceful swimmer.

Following her was [member="Asaraa Vaashe"], the newly appointed knight sending a small telepathic message to everyone, Tana returning a small wave, himself no knowing such a skill. Perhaps his master or Drystan would have an idea about that force power.

With the group here he turned attention back to their MonCal teacher as he started the lecture, once again a user of telepathy. Most of it seemed basic enough, Tana following the given instructions, stretching his hand out and grasping at the different water molecules. Thankfully he had learnt the art of small a while ago, making this part of the lesson that much easier.

Following through with the next step the young knight slowly moved his hand with the force, manipulating the water around the arm. It was certainly different, such not being a solid object to push, having to constantly keep focus on the movement of the fluid lest loss control of it.

Swimming through the warm waters, she finally found herself floating easily in place - returning [member="Tanaski Yumi"]'s thumbs up with a half-smile (the best she could offer, with a rebreather attached to her face). As [member="Rick Kaloo"] explained his expectations, the blonde Jedi settled into herself, closed her eyes, and reached out with the Force.

The waters around her accepted her willingly, and she treaded water to keep herself from floating up & away from the group. She spread her arms out wide... spreading her fingers, symbolically reaching into the pool, imagining herself for a moment to be the largest Sea Creature she could think of; filling the tank completely in her mind. Her command over the waters, she imagined, was complete & total - recognizing the water in her own body as being one with the waters outside of it. The oppressive weight of the water bearing down on her suddenly grew as she drew deep within herself...

And slowly, the waters around her body began to curl, as-if pushed by an impossible breeze. She pushed back against the waters, feeling at first as-if she were pushing against a duracrete wall... then, the fluid responded, bowing out in a strange distortion of air in front of her before the effect dissapated & the water collapsed back in upon itself.

Hearing the instructors voice in his head made Reggie realize he had a few more things to learn. His training was going well for the most part, but maybe it was time to step things up a bit. However, this wasn't the time to think of other things. The Padawan once gain focused on the task at hand.

Reggie did what he was instructed and reached out with the force, moving his hands in the water. The young Padawan originally thought that what he learned from the sand bending class taught by Knight Vikar would come in handy, which it did. There was a considerable difference between manipulating sand and water. He found it more difficult to stay in control. Non-the-less, he was able to move the water, keeping his focus on staying in control.

Rick observed his students with a curious glance.
It seemed as if a few had begun to mimic him, slowly gaining control of the liquids around them, creating noticable disruptions. Noticing their progress, Rick reached out into their minds once again and commenced the next procedure.

{Once you have manipulated the motions of the water around you, there is another task. Try to create a bubble around your head by parting the water. This is a very useful trick, allowing for you to have a nearly infinite air supply even deep underwater. It may take a little bit of focus at first, but it is actually quite a simple task.}

The churning water around Rick suddenly ceased, while a change began to occur near his head. His head was no longer connected to the water around him, with about three centimeters between the furthest point of his head and the water. Rick didn't push the water out much further, and took a breath of the filtered air bubble over his head. Unlike a typical bubble, the water bubble filtered air directly from the surrounding water, guaranteeing that there would be no staleness. The only downside would be in toxic water, where Rick would breathe in harmful chemicals, without the filters of a rebreather to protect him.

Kit was late. She was speeding through the halls towards the class location, and nearly knocked an elderly Jedi down. The man yelled at her to slow down and Kit grinned, but kept up the zoom.

"Sorry I'm late" She said panting, clutching a stitch in her side.

Came in like a wrecking maul
Hmmm someone was teaching water shaping... an interest for her. The jedi master moving as she was not used to seeing other shapers around the SJO... or other mutakai.... she was kind of lonely while walking and stood there for a moment seeing the rest of the class as she stayed int he back. She didn't often come out of the gravity chambers cause not interesting but this got her curious.... now all she wanted to say was amuse me before she slinked back into her hole in the temple to punch things into rubble... or throw things and see if she could beat her best distance.... or be one of the shapers who had graduated from the Silver Jedi's shaper temple in the sepulcher.

Creating a bubble, Tana assumed he meant it differenltly from the acutal froce bubble that one could use, but instead physcially moving the water to form such a bubble. It counded easy in consept but parting the water molevules around him to form a perfect cirle was bound to be a little more difficult that what [member="Rick Kaloo"] had shown them

Concentrating on the task at hand Tana slowly, starting from his nose, began to push out in all direction, having to carefully balanced the top bottom and sides with each inch he pushed. Over time a noticeable bubble was forming, one that seemed to alter shape every few seconds as the young Jedi pushed out but never the least one formed.

Wanting to test out how well he had done the young boy drew in a fresh breath of air, letting himself breath like normal. The air was damp and cool but air never the least, this would certainly be a useful skill in any underwater sneaking missions, even with breath control the Jedi needed to take in oxygen every now and then.

With his bubble currently stable the Atrisian looked over to his closet partner, [member="Drystan Marakos"] to see how she'd go with the exercise. From what he had observed the new Jedi master should be able to do it easily.

Additional students hopped in the water as Rick continued his teaching.
Rick reached into the head of those who had just arrived. {It does not matter if you are late or not. You came, so you will learn. As I told my other students, the first step is learning to manipulate the waters around you, getting them to swirl.}

Then, he addressed the rest of his class on the second method of water manipulation they were currently working on.

{While simply making a Force bubble may seem like a better alternative to what you are doing, both methods work equally well, and to me at least, the waterbending method is less exhausting than the bubble.}

He left the class with those words, and began examining their progress. It seemed as if many now had basic manipulation of the waters surrounding them, some even moving on and slowly and unevenly pushing water away from their heads. Overall, the class was going much better than Rick had expected, though it was likely due to him teaching an older crowd.

Some nameless knight hosting a training session. For the betterment of all us Jedi. More then likely Kit will be there. She always wants to learn, even when it's by those lesser then ourselves. I shake my head at the thought of my twin listening with rapt attention while heading to where this 'lesson' was to be taught.

Entering the room I pause and frown at the diverae ranks currently floating in the water. An anchovy floated in the center of the tank most likely giving instructions through the force.

"Of course a fish is teaching us in water. Makes a certain amount of sense, eh sis?"

The lift of my lip was filled with disdain which matched the tone of the words shared with [member="Kitrine Corsair"]. Moving away from the entrance I chose to lean against the wall nonchalantly while lowering my mental barriers to hear any broadcast words through the force.

A dark, articulate brow lifted as arms were crossed over my chest. From what I could tell this was merely a form of telekinesis. Clearing my throat I looked through the transparent side of the tank to where the shrimp knight, [member="Rick Kaloo"] , watched the progress of the students.

"This is just a form of telekinesis? Or is it an altogether different usage of the force?"

Kat needed no more invitation than to jump right in! She did so, and smiled that the water was warm. As she was born with a below average body temperature she got cold really fast. Luckily she had thought ahead and had dawned a wet suit for the occasion.

Her twins mental voice reached her and she grinned. Z usually didn't go for stuff like this but he so needed to. It would be fun. "He's not just a fish. He's a Jedi knight!" She said the words almost longingly in the Force to her twin. She so wanted to move up the ranks and leave her mark on the world.

She started the exercise and to her surprise it was super easy. She made a bubble and giggled, but unfortunately that made her concentration lapse and she popped it, splashing those around her. "Oops! Sorry!" Kit was great with the physical stuff, but she was not disciplined mentally as her instructors told her over and over every time she tried to meditate.

Asaraa could see the other students all bobbing alone around her, each of them abosrbed in their own tasks, trying to adjust and manipulate the liquid surrounding them. Yet, despite the closeness of the others the sounds and sights were muted, as if hse were wrapped in her own little bubble. Taking a deep breath through her rebreather the Jedi closed her eyes, content with just floating there as she reached out with her mind.

She'd always treated the force as tensdrils of energy she could manupylate, but that kind of heavy handed approach wouldn't help her here. She needed something better here, a finer level of control. Otherwise she'd just be making waves in the water. The girl took a deep breath of the surprisingly dry air in her rebreather and began to pull at the tendrils in her mind, spreading them out. It was something like spinning wool, the tendrils of energy gradually breaking down into finer and finer strands she could use, throwing up a mesh aroun her head, one find enough to attack to the water molecules around her, holding them in place as she began to move the water around her head, swirling it slowly through the mesh to clear herself some space that hte water couldn't fil, drawing in what air she could.
