  • GENERAL INFORMATION

    Aperion, Pneuma and Anima

Aperion, Pneuma and Anima are the names adopted by the Polydroxol Jedi Knight, each indicating one aspect of the Force (Aperion being the Unifying Force, Anima the Living Force, and Pneuma the Cosmic Force). When they first found the Jedi Order and their followers, Aperion had no name. When asked who they were, they wanted to convey they were part of the Force (Anima), one with the Force (Aperion) and took from and gave to it (Pneuma). The comic misunderstanding gave them 3 names, of which they prefered Aperion, what to them was the primary aspect of the Force. Adopting firstly a male, humanoid form, resembling the first Jedi they met, Aperion adopted the pronouns he/him for simplicity.

Before meeting the Order, Aperion was considered a wise physician in Sevetta. His attunement to the Force discerned him from the others, but opened to him the full potential of the Cosmos. Through that, he studied the world around him, and specially the three aspects of the Force. By meeting the Jedi, he got formal training in the Force, and could understand that the Unifying Force, the Force itself, is what the Jedi called "The Light Side". The sentient-made corruption of it, the so-called "Dark Side", was outside of the Force, and should be purged.

When he became a Jedi Knight, he quickly joined the Jedi Vanguard to better purge this evil, and finally bring balance to the Force - make the Unifying Force reclaim every corrupted, filthy part of the galaxy once and for all.

  • HISTORY
    IN THE MAKING

  • APPEARANCE

A fluid blob, full of possibilities

Aperion's appearance is fully fluid. He can become any living creature and geometric form he wishes, yet is glad to continue being an humanoid for the time being. His face is smooth and bright, no eyes, no mouth, no nose, merely an oval-shaped "mask" of sorts. Of course, he can create those organs if necessary, but it would be only performative. Simplicity, he thinks, fits him best. The same goes for his robes, as white as one can get, projecting his peaceful existence to the other Jedi.

Of course, when the time for a real battle is near, the white robes shouldn't be dirtied. If one wants peace, they should prepare for war, and Aperion knows best than to underestimate a good old armor.

  • PERSONALITY

A way of the Force to interact with itself

Aperion is a very calm, sensible person. Philosophical, he is still finding himself in this galaxy, and is excessively curious. He has seen injustice, yes, but has also seen hope in the eyes of the people. This deep desire for change, for betterment, to finally the whole with the Unifying Force, amazes and fills the Jedi.

This is exactly why he found the High Republic so strange, hypocritical. They spoke highly of politics and politicians, but lacked the philosophical basis for change. They appeared to have no desire for it, and were doomed to give their own destiny to inertia. This could not do. Aperion joined the Vanguard to certify destiny is achieved as soon as possible.

He studied medicine and pressure points to treat his fellow comrades, and everyone in his path. But, of course, he also understood defending peace is not enough. We should fight for it with all we've got.

    STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

Physician - Aperion thoroughly studied the humanoid body, pressure points and the healing power of the Force. He knows how to calm and heal people through touch, and can make needles of his fingers to better press pressure points, stimulate someone's healing, numb their pain, stimulate their midichlorians. He knows how to use herbs to potentialise physical and mental healing. He is studying psychology and neurology to better suit the needs of his peers, too.

    Love of This World -
The Jedi Knight genuinely loves this world and their inhabitants. This pure love fuels his will and determination to keep going, adapting, doing all he can to protect the Living Force.

    Parabellum -
What heals can also damage. His knowledge of pressure points can block the flow of the Force through one's body, damage their nerves and paralyse them -temporarily or forever. The same can be said about his knowledge of herbs, that could be used as poison. Aperion is also profecient in Soresu, and is trying to perfect his Vaapad.

    Prejudice -
For Pneuma, everything labelled as the "dark side" is aborrhent and alien to the Unifying Force. As such, anything overtly dark-sided should be destroyed and purged, with very little to no exception. No Dark side knowledge or being should be left to corrupt the Force ever again.

No democracy in the Republic - Pneuma knows full well what democracy is - his people could join into a single being if they wished to, and could decide everything based on everyone's interest in mind: the minority would know full well why they've lost, and the majority would always get their interests met. The High Republic is but a shadow of Pneuma's society, unfortunately, and it frustrates him. He has no respect for government officials, politics, the rich or others, and everyone of those will have to prove their worth first...

Extreme Cold - While normally Aperion can liquify and solidify his body at will, extreme cold will make his whole body tougher, meaning he would at the very least be denser and slower, and could reach the point of being completely frozen. Once frozen, he could also be destroyed into bits.
