Effective Range:
  • 500m (point target)
  • 800m (area target)
Rate of Fire:
  • Automatic
  • Semi-Automatic
  • 3 round burst mode
Special Features:
  • Impervium Hammerhead
  • Multipurpose - switches to powerhammer.
  • Scope integration to helmet HUD
  • Under-barrel attachement.
Strengths:
  • Swiss-knife: Ranged and melee weapon in one item goes a long way on the battlefield.
  • Top notch: Impervium hammer head means the weapon in melee form is very resistant to damage and wear while the shatter gun form provides it with a great deal of lethal capabilities. Thank you Verpines.
Weaknesses:
  • Cooldown: The change from shatter rifle to hammer and vice versa takes two seconds. Despite the weapon's superiority in multi-purpose that is one of the drawbacks that come with it.
  • Ion/Emp vulnerability: Self-explanatory. The electromagnetic accelerators will be fried so the shattergun would become totally useless and the repulsor technology within the hammerhead too. The change from shatter rifle to hammer is mechanical so that would still be intact at least.
Description: The Shatter Rifle form utilizes an magnetic accelarator for firing its projectiles which has been proven to be highly accurate with long range capabilities, near silent and more importantly its primary strength - extreme kinetic damage. It does not possess any other non-standard Shatter Rifle capabilities other than being able to utilize a slug magazine of 7.62mm

Form: Powerhammer

Intent: Create multipurpose weapon for ApeX.
Development Thread: If needed

Manufacturer: Corondex Arms
Model: N/A
Affiliation: ApeX

Modularity: Collapses to Form: Shatter Rifle.
Production: Production: Mass-Produced

Material: Duraplast, bo-rifle components, Impervium Stock - for hammer head.

Classification: Powerhammer
Size: One-handed, Two-Handed
Length: 120cm total
Weight: 3.5kg
Special Features:

  • Impervium Hammerhead
  • Multipurpose - collapses to Shatter Rifle.
  • Repulsor technology.
Description: The powerhammer is an absolute copy of the powerhammer but with some modification added to it resulting in internal wounds rather than external.

The repulsor boost technology stated in the special feature is basically 'pores' that 'pull' the location at where the hammer is currently aiming to slam. It is based on Vanir Technologies notorious VT-Grav Glove but at much lesser power, it simply tries to snare the object/sentient that the user is trying to strike.

From a weakness point of view, it is a weapon that is hard to block or act as a duelist with due to its lack of defensive capabilities such as a blade has (length of blade), for example. It is definitely not the best weapon to use alone in a melee dueling combat.
