PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Aoi is someone who lives almost two contrasting lives. On one side you have the beauty and grace expected of an Atrisian, with flowing raven-black hair, and adorned in either gowns or suits. Whereas on the other hand, she’s also the type to tie her hair into a messy bun, throw on a pair of overalls and get her hands greasy from tinkering with an engine. Beneath it all though, is a body that has been kept physically fit through martial arts.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Just a person trying to get out of the shadow of her treacherous father.
Despite the trauma of her parents’ actions, Aoi remains a compassionate person, especially to those that fall into troubled times. She’s a firm believer that the child does not bear the sins or mistakes of their parents. For better or worse, she will always favour giving second chances rather than outright shutting people out.
Her patience when dealing and tinkering with technology lends itself to people. Be it through the mask of a businesswoman, or the real Aoi underneath it.
Aoi always endeavours to keep a rational and level-headed attitude when dealing with tense and difficult situations.

HISTORY
- Came from a family that started as farmers, gradually raised in status.
- Parents started their own business. Her father was an inventor, while her mother was more of a mechanic.
- Aoi lived a pretty comfortable life, fueled by the success of her parents’ business.
- Seeking greater heights, Aoi’s parents eventually sold the business and took on jobs at the Kuat Drive Yards; within their respective fields.
- When the Dark Empire came knocking, Aoi’s father was revealed to be a traitor, and played an important role in ensuring the shipwright was vulnerable.
- Father was imprisoned, and the family reputation quickly began tanking.
- Aoi’s mother; using connections she had with Druckenwell, struck a deal where they would liquidate both her and her husband’s assets in order to leave Aoi with something. As part of the deal, her mother would work for Druckenwell to pay off the debt.
- Even though it was not part of the deal, Aoi’s mother made the decision to cut ties with her daughter. Believing it best to ensure she wasn’t further mired by her father’s betrayal.
- Wanting to distance herself, Aoi adopted her mother’s maiden name; Tanaka. Which would go on to become the name of her own company. Tanaka Industries.
