HISTORY
Anselm Rastorix was born into one of Brentaal IV’s old merchant houses, a proud dynasty marked by the lion and known for its wealth, discipline, and fierce independence. When the Sith Covenant seized Brentaal, House Rastorix refused to submit. In retaliation, the Sith dismantled the family piece by piece. Anselm was imprisoned and tortured as his relatives were executed around him, leaving his face permanently scarred and his House nearly extinguished.
He eventually escaped Brentaal with little more than his name, a handful of loyal retainers, and the memory of those he had failed to save. His exile eventually brought him to Vandemar, where his austerity, discipline, and sense of duty found a place among its knightly traditions. Anselm rose to become a Knight of Vandemar and founded the Order of the Iron Cruciform, shaping it around the conviction that strength, privilege, and nobility exist first and foremost in service to others.
Though he now fights beneath Vandemar’s banners, Anselm has never forgotten Brentaal. The lion of House Rastorix endures, and with it his quiet oath that neither his family nor his homeland will remain in Sith hands forever.
