Another McYoda's meeting

Excitement was in the air, or at least Eamon felt like it was. Either that or he was just far too hyped about their chance at their first real contract to expand McYoda's beyond terrestrial based stores. Visions of flying McYodas around planets launching little delivery droids to millions at once was enough to make his eyes go wide with dreams of what could be. It was only boosted by the fact that Kyra had joined him for this meeting, the first meeting she wasn't just an silent partner in, quite the pleasant surprise really.

Their current meeting was with one Tsavong Kraal a man Eamon didn't know a damn thing about, but he was about to he supposed. He'd never had dealings with a Vong before, but could he really be any worse then dealing with a Colicoid. At least he was pretty sure Vong didn't eat people, lots of stories existed about them though, and in truth he knew he didn't know a thing about them really. Well besides the fact that they were masters of terraforming, a truly inspiring lot for an engineering standpoint.

He'd set up a private meeting on a nearby space station, neutral ground within the Vong's preferred meeting area. From what Eamon understood he was offering a sizable investment into the next big thing for McYoda's something that was needed, but what he hoped to gain wasn't as clear. No doubt he was looking to profit from it, but the actual range of profit was the question, That and how much he really had to invest into the delivery system and restaurant platforms.

Turning to his partner he gave a bit of a grin, “Just think, we get this in the back this time next year we'll have McYoda's orbiting half the civilized planets in the galaxy. Give it another year we can have them traveling with fleets funding ever idea we've ever had.” Of course that was if this deal went well, and everything lined up after. One step at a time, even if the excitement made him want to take it all at once.

Ten long years.

That was how long Kyra had been 'out of the game.' Pulling away from her main Company and retreating into the shadows had been a drastic yet necessary step back then, but time had changed the girl; at her heart she was the self same scavenging Junk Queen she had always been, but she had matured out of her fleeing tendencies. With plans to join Connor in the SSC well in motion, and just a couple of things left to tie up on Jakku, she had willingly accepted the invitation to join [member="Eamon Tragon"] for this meeting... Albeit with trepidation.

McYoda's was not her brain child. It had been gifted to her Company, back when it was known as Rahvin Industries, by a space dragon of all things - if one even believes that they exist - at least that was what Eamon had told her. He had signed the deal shortly before her disappearance. Truth be told she despised the company, at least the food it offered to the public. Not only did she know all the secret recipes, which were enough to put anyone off their food, she didn't really agree with junk food at all. Ironic for someone who deals with other kinds of junk all day every day.

Now, sat within the space station and resisting the urge to put her feet up on the table, Kyra had to swallow her own misgivings; this would open up a whole world of possibilities for them, plans they had set in motion years ago could come into fruition and more good would come from it. Kyra was especially excited, and nervous, for following through on their Hyperlane plans. She had dreamed of charting the stars since she was a young girl traveling among pirates, making her own way through space that no one else had gone. Dangerous work, some of the most dangerous that a junker like herself could do, but rewarding.

She simply smiled to what Eamon said, her mind wrapped up in its thoughts. He was right, in some regards, but they couldn't hinge their entire future on just one deal. Thus she refused to get overly excited. "We shall see" she remarked instead, glancing around the room. Nearly everything was made of metal, technology plastering wall panels and inhabiting most surfaces. She really doubted the Vong would like it, but she hadn't had any real say in the location. The downside to being a mostly silent partner.
