Another Lie (Minna)

"Minna? Minna! You have to wake up now, there isn't much time left!"

The voice of Darth Ferus called down to [member="Minna"] . Just moments after he had reported her death to the Wrath, he had gone back to her body and taken it away from the Assassin temple. In his red arms he carried her, looking like a husband about to bury his wife rather than bring her back. But there was nothing to bring back. His blade, coated with a mixture of a force breaker and a poison to make the heart stop, had been thrust into her stomach in just the right spot, a place where she would look like she bled out, but in reality she was almost unharmed.

And now he had to get her back into hiding. Within a small cavern the red man set down his wife to be, lightly tapping her left cheek in an effort to bring her back to consciousness. Time was of the essence now, and he could physically change what she looked like only if she was awake enough to assist. He was still practically naked, wearing only his pants and her blood over his chest.

The ruse would work, but now they had to complete the second step.

Minna approached her parents in a moment of ecstasy, their smiles removing all worries she had in the world she thought she had just left behind. "Mother... I want to-" She began, only to be cut short by the fading of her environment. Everything went black, a sea of emptiness that left her alone. "Mother! Father!" The Yodaling screamed to no avail, desperately searching for the two others of her species. As if enough fear hadn't swept over her already, voices began calling out in the darkness, seemingly at her.
"Minna!" Krest's voice?
"Stop! What are you doing?!" She remembered this one too; the voice of Alexandra when they fought on Prakith.
"Please! No!" This was a voice full of fear, one she did not recognize.
"Darth Valtryx." That was Arcanix naming her as a Sith.
"You have to wake up now, there isn't much time left!" Krest again.
The voices caused her to cover her ears tightly, dropping to her knees as she tried to physically shake them out of her head. Resistance was futile though, and the voices of her past bombarded her with memories. All the guilt, suffering and decision-making of her life being thrown at her; it was too much.

"No!" A final scream from her, but this time more audible. She shot up, instinctively grabbing the arm of the man beside her. Her form was human again, she knew that, but her vision was blurred. Her eyes met the red figure above her, trying to figure out what was going on. "Kr..." Her voice started, yet trailed off as she slowly slumped backwards to the floor again. There was barely enough energy left in her after whatever had happened, and her head pounded from the pain the voices had given her. The experience had taken it's toll, yet atleast now she was conscious and not dreaming.

Or at least she hoped she was...

[member="Darth Ferus"]

"Minna! Good, stay awake, we have to get you moving. You can't stay here or they'll kill all of us." The Sith that was. This was a grievous betrayal on his part, letting a traitor live, faking their death, and helping them escape. His blue eyes showed no fear however as he watched [member="Minna"] . As she began to slump however the red man did the one thing he could do. His tears, made of a powerful healing solution, dripped onto her forehead, trying to help with keeping her awake. But he also began to give her his own energy.

"You can't fall asleep, not yet. I need your help, we need to change how you look."

The moisture that was dripping onto her face somehow sparked something inside her. Her eyes opened again, wider this time, as energy began to return to her as swiftly as it had left. "Krest..." She said this time without failure. Sitting up once more, her gaze fixed on his. "I need to... transfer?" A small sigh from between her lips, yet she did not wait long to continue. "Is there a body to transfer to?" Minna asked, her mind still clouded yet her understanding now more clear. Krest had faked killing her, and the Sith wouldn't take kindly to that. For a moment she thought of what the consequences of this would be, for them and their child, yet she quickly pushed them aside to focus on the matter at hand. "Okay then... quickly, in case someone comes ..." Holding both of the Zabrak's arms, Minna pulled herself up into a more balanced sitting position facing him. "Where are we going to do it?" She asked, lowering her head slightly and taking a long blink to try and clear her mind while she awaited a reply.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

"We're not going to do a body transfer, that will take too much time. Instead, we're going to change your body like we changed the swords." Art of the Small. His eyes glistened somewhat from the tears he had spent to bring her around, but there was finally a hint of fear in it. To do what he was saying would take a lot of energy out of them both, and he had no idea if it would harm her or not. But it was something they had to do, to protect her.

He would reach out slowly, gently running a hand through her hair. "We'll have to go quick, and as soon as we're done you have to leave this planet. Go to the Jedi, find [member="Seraphina Shel'tah"] . She hates me and everything I am, but she will help you. Say you escaped me, that I was your cruel master. She'll believe it. There, you have to get stronger, and when you become strong enough you'll have to come back here for our daughter. Kidnap her in the eyes of the Sith, and she won't be marked for death." He had thought this all through long before she had shown up at the Assassin temple, and he was not going to let it die down now.

Ferus had to save [member="Minna"] so she could save their daughter.

Minna's head shook slightly at first, the mass of information slowly processing through her clouded mind. "I didn't... know that was possible..." Not wanting to think about it too much, she avoided trying to explain it to herself or ask more about it. Instead, she nodded at her husband to be. "Okay then, let's do it." Her eyes opened, making do with the relative calm she had finally achieved within herself. With some haste she began focusing on the force. She reached out to it, feeling it all around and through her. There was some uncomfortable feeling whilst doing so, presumably an after-effect of whatever Ferus had injected into her, yet she managed to center herself. "I'm... ready..." She breathed, looking straight into his eyes with as much confidence as she could muster.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

Ferus nodded once to [member="Minna"] before his gaze left her eyes and to her body itself. It wasn't a hard concept, to shift the molecules and structure of her form to look like someone else. He wouldn't be adding anything or taking away, just simply changing the layout. From a rectangle to a square, but with the same area. Thankfully, for them both, the itself body wasn't really needed to be changed, as he simply focused on shifting the skin color and her finger prints.

He would hold onto her hands as he changed them, his gaze going over every detail he could possibly think over, his focus so much so that he would not notice the world around him. She was to do the same, to match him and help hurry this task. What he did not tell her however was that in doing this, her power with the Force would be lessened, and though with time it could come back, she would have a hard time doing so.

Of course, he wanted this. Ferus wanted to cut the darkside right out of her, and while she was to focus and he finished his part he would do so, reaching into her very body to remove any and all traces he possibly could utilizing this ability.

All that would be left was to change her face. A face he had grown so use to, one that he would wake up next to. A sad smile would take over his features as he leaned in to kiss her forehead.

"Once this is done, you will never see me again."

Minna began her part, focusing on the very molecular structure of her body and channeling the force into Krest's changing of them. With their combined energy she assumed the job would be easy and with little cost, yet she did not know of the consequences to her powers. The only thing she noticed was the changing of her body, subtle yet effective at hiding her identity. Her concentration was too great to realize what Ferus was doing, removing the traces of darkness inside her. She was not concerned on any such matter, only that they got the job done and she made it out alive. However, the Zabrak's words caused her bring an end to her work.
"Once this is done, you will never see me again."
Tears began to form in her eyes as she looked up at him in shock, as if just realizing that it was to be the case.
"I..." She began, yet could not find the words to finish. "One day, we'll be together. I'll find you. The real you." Her head moved forward, resting on his chest as she allowed her tears to flow. After a few moments of sadness, she took a deep breath and raised her head. Focusing on the force, she cleared her mind of worry and negative emotion, instead focusing on the one thing she had to have for her to be able to continue.
Hope.
"Quickly, you must finish it..."

[member="Darth Ferus"]

The smile only widened as [member="Minna"] spoke. He would her there, already beginning to change her. As his hand ran through her thick red hair it slowly shortened, turning black. Her face would contort, going from that of who he loved to someone he did not recognize, all to protect her, and their daughter. Never once would the Zabrak let her go, but he never responded to what she had said. The real him, it was gone in his mind. He had toyed with the dark for much too long, and there was no salvation for one such as him.

Once he was finished he would once more kiss the top of her head, finally speaking up.

"You have to go now.."

Minna felt her hair change, and with it her whole facial structure. All the while she focused on keeping her emotions at bay. If she was to go to the Jedi she would have to learn their ways again, which started with a more peaceful use of the force. Any negative emotions she gained here would do her no good. With this in mind, she merely stood up once the process was over and smiled at Ferus. "I will come back." She spoke with a slightly different voice, which surprised her for a moment at first. "I promise." With that she embraced him firmly in a hug, holding back the river of tears that wanted to release themselves at that moment. Internally she was falling apart, yet on the outside she seemed calm and composed. "Goodbye, Krest." Her last words to him, before turning towards the caverns exit. Just before reaching the outside however, she remembered what was holstered by her waist. With a flick downwards on each side of her belt, the two lightsabers fell to the ground. She did not need the objects anymore, especially since they resembled the darkness that had once consumed her. Besides, they would probably serve better as proof of Minna's death, or as something for Ferus to keep.

Once she felt ready, she then left the cavern and began her walk to the nearest town. She could not take her own ship off-planet, since it would be too obvious. From now on she had nothing, she had to find her own way to the Jedi to find this... [member="Seraphina Shel'tah"] that Krest had told her about. There wasn't many Jedi that Minna knew, and whoever this person was she had no idea. Maybe she was the Zabrak's rival? To her it didn't matter, as long as she helped her recover her life.

And she knew the only way to do that was to embrace the Light, something she had forsaken long ago...
