Taeli Raaf
Bookworm
"You aren't far off," Taeli said, a large smile on her face as Melori explained what she had riddled out about the code. "There is a reason our Order has been winning this war against the Republic and Jedi. Weak Sith fail and die off, either from an opponent killing them, the training being too much, or any other number of reasons. Only those acolytes that are strong go on to be knights and masters, resulting in many of our Order being more powerful than the Jedi, for the most part. Jedi Masters are another matter entirely, quite powerful beings."
Sitting back down at the bed, and deactivating the vital monitoring machine, she continued saying, "The Sith Code shows us the path we have to follow to break the chains that bind us and weaken us. Natural Selection, with us at the top of the food pyramid with others beneath us."
Falling quiet for a moment, she said, "If you're learning from me, I'll have you know I won't tolerate indiscriminate killings of innocents or the taking of slaves. Torture is only allowed when it is absolutely necessary, not for sadistic joy. Understand that, and I'll show you pathways to powers some consider to be unnatural."
