Another Day

For some reason, Ballen-Ist felt like drinking a lot. It was due to the fact that he was slightly nervous, put off by the fact that [member="Zothan Venn"] could read his thoughts through her natural empathy abilities. Apparently his mental defenses had failed him. Waving over another server droid, the young Knight would buy another round of drinks, taking one and quickly swinging it back. "You see," he began, "I think bragging about your own greatness is rather narcissistic," he explained haughtily, almost sarcastically. The youth obviously referred to the fact that he was a pure-blooded Sith, for his species possessed the dark side inherently, rumored to be in their blood by legends.

Ballen-Ist definitely did not consider himself sane. It was true, that he was more level headed than most Sith out there, though he had done some terrible things in his life. When he examined these events, he solidified his opinion, for he had truly enjoyed those moments. Rolling his eyes defiantly at the half Zeltron/Falleen, Ballen-Ist would lower his glass, placing it back on the table. "Another brilliant deduction, detective..." The pureblood would pause, his vision narrowing as his eyelids squinted.

With his impressive aura of darkness and telepathic powers, the youth would tap into the female's mind defiantly, retrieving only one bit of information. "...Venn." He would finish, having sought out her last name.

"I don't need to be an empath to practically smell the sarcasm coming off you...."

I flipped my hair and made a face.

"I'm narcissistic. Spouting Sith propaganda like a machine is either insanity, or a rather disappointing bout of stupidity. And good job reaching my mind. It's a little bit shielded, besides the fact that you're probably not a mentalist."

I took another sip at my drink.

"Sanity is not your view of your mental state. It's what other people can see of your mental state. You could be a blood-mad serial killer, and I would still consider you sane if you were to converse with me like this. I don't care about whether you think you're sane, I simply wanted to meet another Sith who doesn't spout crap about the glory of the Sith and the Dark Side. So, you're as sane as I am, whatever you've done."

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

The young boy would laugh quietly, listening to [member="Zothan Venn"] while looking over the drinks on the table. His laughter would begin to grow louder, becoming a bellowing fit of hysteria that filled the room. Many heads would turn, to look at the red skinned Knight, before turning away. Lifting a single arm, the youth would wipe a tear from his eye, one that had appeared due to the amusement he had experienced.

"Ah, you really are something," Ballen-Ist would say, almost at a loss for words. He found it strange that the female could read him like a book, but also amusing in a sort of ironic way. "...Thank you." He would finish, figuring her comments to be a compliment. Luckily for her, the food would show up, one of the droids placing it on the table. Eyeing her intently, Ballen-Ist wondered if she ate like a savage, or with table manners. Extending his arm forth, he would take another glass of his alcohol, swinging it back into his mouth and down his throat. He could already feel it's influence, along with the Hybrid's pheromones.

"Tell me about yourself," He began to say, before finishing, "and why you sought me out."

"About myself, huh?"

I smiled slightly, and leaned back on the booth. So hysterical laughter, huh?

"Well, I'm probably the only Sith to use a chainsaw as her chosen weapon. Plus, I'm the only Falleen to join the Sith in a long time. You're not hardly the only Pureblood left, but you're one of the stronger Knights. They talked about you in the academy, but I was disinclined to believe that you had actually gone and committed treason. People don't get to where we are by going around and being sneaky assholes. That's the Council's job, really."

I started cutting into the meat, it looked pretty good, so I cut a kind of large bite and stuck it in my mouth. My slightly pointed Falleen teeth ripped through it, and I swallowed.

"And, you're better looking than your picture."

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

The pureblood's jaw would hang open slightly in awe, as he watched and listened to what [member="Zothan Venn"] had done and said. Carefully examining the handle that had been visible earlier, the Knight found it hard to believe that it was an actual chainsaw. Then again, Sith were rather unpredictable, and it had been the last thing he expected it to be. It was almost comical. Nodding at her last comment, the youth would grin slightly, obviously agreeing with her. The sneaky council surely was amusing, though the fact he really did have people talking about him was entertaining as well.

Then, the Knight would watch the half Falleen tear through the piece of meat, that was large in his opinion, within moments. Okay then. He had expected that his own table etiquette was far superior to her own, though at least she was not eating with her hands only. Averting his gaze from the food, the Sith would look the female up and down, before focusing on her face. "I can't say I did extensive research on your appearance, though you certainly are beautiful as well." The boy made a point of saying as well, knowing that he himself was rather handsome.

I swallowed, and grinned.

"Of course I am... It'd be impossible not to be, with all that Zeltron and Falleen DNA knocking about in me."

I glanced at the point above my shoulder where the handle of my chainsaw was sticking out.

"Is really is a chainsaw. Not as gory in a fight as you'd think."

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

Ballen-Ist could only nod at her first comment, agreeing completely. The mix of her races gave her very powerful pheromones, ones that had already begun to affect his mind. Not that he minded. He wondered about how much [member="Zothan Venn"] was able to get away with in her life, thanks to her genetics. The Knight's red hand would reach forward, once again gripping one of the alcoholic beverages on the table. The pureblood would drink it quickly, furthering his pheromone/alcohol drunk state. His gaze would once more redirect to the handle, his head shaking from side to side as she insisted it was a chainsaw.

"What is it made of?" The youth would question at first, interested in her choice of weapon. "You might be able to conduct energy along it, depending on the material."

I grinned even wider, and nodded.

"I already do that. It's made of turadium and durasteel. Perfect against Jedi and their funny little half-robe armors."

I took another drink, and felt my mind loosen up a bit as the alcohol got to it. Oh, well.

"In case you're worried about the pheromones, I'm so drunk they'll probably be dissipating shortly."

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

"What kind of energy?" The Knight would question, as he placed his glass back down onto the table. Resting his elbow on it's surface, Ballen-Ist would alter his hand's angle, allowing it to point up at the ceiling while he looked at it. Bright, powerful sparks of electricity would begin to jump along his fingers, as the pureblood focused on the dark side energy he possessed within him. It was an effortless feat, and could produce energy ten times stronger than what he displayed at the moment.

Smirking at what she had said about the pheromones, Ballen-Ist would speak again, "Don't mind me, it's a welcomed challenge," he spoke slowly, obviously inebriated. Despite this, he continued to speak, noticing something interesting. "Aren't you half Zeltron? Maybe you're just a lightweight." He would tease, waving over another drink for himself, and [member="Zothan Venn"] if she wished.

I laughed.

"Psh. You thought I was sober? I drank enough to knock out a bantha on the way here. But another drink is always welcome."

I was hiding it, but I would probably be passed out across the table in about a half hour if we kept going like this. Sure, I'm a product of two races with insane metabolisms, but even I could only take so much.

"That lighting's pretty. I could probably do the same, but I've always needed a focus of some kind. Usually whatever I was carrying that had a blade on it."

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

The Knight would laugh briefly at her comment. Well, wasn't she classy. Ballen-Ist didn't particularly like getting wasted before the party even started, for most saw it as rude. Even so, he did not care at the moment, given her species and overall demeanor. The pureblood could sense [member="Zothan Venn"]'s emotions and mental state through the force, his mind having a powerful grasp on it. The youth would smirk widely, finding amusement in her bluff.

"I can teach you, if you'd like," the pureblood would offer, hoping to tempt her with his power. Craning his head to the side slightly, Ballen-Ist would notice the server droid that had arrived. Reaching out with his clumsy arm, the red skinned Sith would accidentally smack both of the cups, causing them to fall towards the ground. While simply looking at them, he would exert a stream of telekinetic energy, allowing it to wrap around both of the spilled beverages that were still mid-air.

They would float up and back onto the table, placing themselves in front of their respective buyers. "That was close," he began, a smirk still present on his face, as he controlled the alcohol above her glass, forming it into a cartoon-ish heart before making it fall in. "Almost embarrassed myself." He finished, swinging back the liquid.

I laughed, slightly louder than I usually would've.

"Having the Force does rather help when you're drunk. As long as your mind isn't as drunk as your body, that is."

I took a sip of the drink, smirking slightly.

"Oh, I'm sure you could teach me, but all I said was that I needed a focus. Once the energy is focused, I can discharge it just like any other Force user. It's just that I usually get more bang for my buck, if you get my drift. Plus, I'm never without a blade. Even a shard of durasteel works well for me, as long as it's okay quality."

I hiccuped, and laughed again at the memory of one particular time...

"Once, I used my ship as a focus. Managed to zap most of a small city out of commission for a bit. That was a fun day."

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

A small city? The Knight found that hard to believe, unless she had a massive ship. Having remained silent throughout her explanation. The youth would simply shake his head from side to side in disapproval of her reasoning.

"To truly use and understand force lightning, you must experience it throughout your entire body. What happens when you're without a blade, would it not be good to be proficient in throwing lightning from your hands?"

Even after giving his rebuttal, the pureblood would pause, remembering the pheromones she wielded. "Then again, you probably don't even need the power in the first place." He concluded, shrugging his shoulders briefly before swinging down another drink. Man, was he wasted. Even though he managed to hold himself together, he could feel it. His words were slow and sometimes slurred, as he looked upon [member="Zothan Venn"] and conversed with her.

Sure, I could see the fault in my reasoning, but it was true. There had literally never been a time in my life where I hadn't carried a blade of some kind.

"I do feel it in my entire body. It just chooses to express itself in a different way than the norm."

I shrugged, the intoxication fractionally slowing the movement.

"I don't need to use my powers as often as I'd like. It's a little bit annoying, really."
