Another Day to Pass

Serra Val Rhia

The Daughter of Angels
Tython. A planet she has found herself on for quite the while now, and though the planet was nice enough, when atrocities erupted throughout the galaxy and she sat idle it was with a nagging itch in her blood. One that could not be reached until she was out and aiding those who otherwise could not aid themselves. Many thought themselves weak for such a thing but Serra saw it differently. Attempting to overcome forces beyond yourself for the sake of appearing strong was different than accepting help and becoming strong. Thus it was why she remained here. What help would she be if she raced off now only appearing strong? She would need help reaching the prowess necessary to face what was out there.

Requesting another knight or master to guide her hand in training the Daughter of Angels was told that she should expect a man named Synlidwirh Daemoniscus, or as the knight providing the news who struggled with the pronunciation opted to instead just say [member="Syn"] . She had heard he had uncommon origins but then, many people did. She herself was raised by what the galaxy knew as mythical angels. Creatures that flew up and guided ships to their destruction by distraction alone. Sitting in the midst of the Jedi garden she found herself surrounded by a small variety of beautiful flowers. Last she was here they did not exist. Serra was thankful that even in times such as this, grim and dark and stressful, that some Jedi somewhere had taken the time to give these plants life.

Now however she simply waited on the arrival of her most recent master. A tinge of excitement escaping her calm demeanor as she sat cross-legged in the grass. But she was not meditating - instead she simply watched as the sun rose. The morning air filling her.

Syn was many things but few truly knew what to say and that was before the met him in person. On datapad he was reckless and an old master but in reality as he moved there to sit down he looked about her age. Far younger in appearance then anyone wanted to believe while he took a seat next to her and spoke giving a smile while wearing his sash. The jedi master let the basic robes obscure most of his attire and speaking it hid the small accent. "Hello there and who are you? A new padawan in the order? Who is your master?" He had a smirk as he sat there but didn't reveal who he was. It was always good to see what one knew without prompting.

Her eyes snapped to peer at [member="Syn"] having not expected him so soon. Smiling lightly though at the sudden arrival she awaited him to join in sitting - though he managed to ask his questions first. "Morning Master. I - ah, am not new. Just a padawan who never received a master. My name is Serra Val Rhia. I've received training by a variety of Knights and Masters alike, already fairly trained, but none able to spare themselves full time - certainly not enough time for a trial. Though I do not mind." Perhaps she was rambling now but she found herself still serving the Jedi even if not fully pledged just yet.

"I aid in what way I can. I tutor younglings and fresh padawans before they are assigned elsewhere. I also assist in the archives, and on occasion, act as a healer to those who need it. It is rewarding all the same."

He listened and gave a nod, he understood not really having a permanent master that some of the padawans suffered from. He made sure to be there for his padawans but they seemed to become incapacitated more like and as he sat there he reached out to sense the young one. She was compared to him a child but that meant little given the rise of teenagers being and doing more it added to show just how old fashioned he really was. "Well as I currently have no padawans I can train you for as long as you like. I am not really going anywhere it seems so good times." He gave a small chuckle and rolled his shoulders getting up. "Now shall we begin? What would you like to learn about being a jedi?"
