PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Annie Scalora appears far younger than her position would suggest. Possessing a refined and almost aristocratic beauty, she stands with perfect posture and an unnerving stillness that many mistake for discipline. Her blonde hair is meticulously maintained, typically worn in a tightly arranged bun, and her pale grey-blue eyes rarely display emotion. She wears the white officer uniform of the Imperial Security Bureau assigned to the Imperial Reclamation Authority. Her rank plaque displays two red squares above two blue squares, denoting her status as a Lieutenant. Unlike many officers, Annie keeps her uniform immaculate regardless of circumstance. Not a single crease is tolerated.
Those who spend enough time around her eventually notice something unsettling. Annie almost never blinks during conversations. She maintains eye contact for uncomfortable lengths of time and often smiles during discussions involving death, torture, espionage, or betrayal.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Annie Scalora is a psychopath in the clinical sense of the word. She does not experience empathy as normal people understand it. Fear, guilt, remorse, compassion, and emotional attachment are concepts she understands intellectually but not emotionally. She learned at a young age that other people expected these responses and became exceptionally skilled at imitating them.
To the casual observer, she can appear charming, intelligent, polite, and even pleasant. The façade is nearly perfect. Behind it exists a woman who views people as collections of variables to be manipulated. Annie does not enjoy violence for its own sake. Violence simply happens to be one of the most effective tools for obtaining what she wants.
Unlike many Imperial hardliners, she possesses no ideological fanaticism. She believes in the Empire because it creates order. Order creates predictability. Predictability creates control. The galaxy is chaotic, while the Empire is a mechanism designed to fix that problem. She believes most people are fundamentally irrational creatures driven by fear, desire, and weakness. As such, they require supervision. Her greatest source of entertainment comes from observing others break under pressure.

Annie Scalora was born aboard an aging Imperial logistics station during the final years of the Empire that preceded the modern Imperial Reclamation Authority. From an early age, something was clearly different. She never cried when other children were injured. She never formed close friendships. She displayed a disturbing fascination with observing the reactions of others during moments of fear or grief. Numerous educators reported concerns regarding her behavior. None could prove wrongdoing.
By sixteen, Annie had already begun assisting local security officials in identifying criminal activity. Her success rate was extraordinary. She demonstrated an uncanny ability to predict behavior, uncover lies, and identify hidden motives. An ISB recruiter eventually took notice.
The young woman was quietly transferred into Imperial intelligence training, there, her instructors discovered an uncomfortable truth. Annie was frighteningly good at the job. Psychological warfare. Counterintelligence. Interrogation. Agent handling. Internal security. Every field seemed to come naturally to her. While other recruits struggled to maintain emotional distance from their work, Annie required no such training.
She simply did not care.
When the old Imperial structure finally collapsed into fragmentation and warlordism, Annie remained loyal to the surviving ideals she considered worth preserving. Eventually her service brought her into contact with General Cerein Aron, Admiral Raddock, and the emerging Imperial Reclamation Authority. Unlike many who joined the movement, Annie held no nostalgia for the Empire, she just enjoyed the power it gave her. Within the growing ISB apparatus of the Imperial Reclamation Authority, Lieutenant Scalora has rapidly established a reputation that causes even veteran officers to lower their voices when discussing her.
