It was time to escape, the latchkey children would unite and overthrow the tyrants here watching them while their parents left them while they were working. She had a small piece of metal to jimmy the lock on the door so they could get out and escape into the city. her father [member="Jericho"] and sister [member="Lily Hex-Volsh"] were at the temple but she was considered to young for now while she was rolling her shoulders and preparing for the real fight. Convincing the others to come with her.

Brook had the same thought as she had swiped a bobby pin from the desk on the way in when she came upon Laurie "Hey you wanna get out of here?"

A fellow partner in crime it seemed and she was looking at her thinking about the trouble they could get in while working on some of the things. If [member="Zak Dymo"] had been here he would be the first one through the doors as she was thinking about the one who drove masters in the temple crazy. "Yes lets do it." She was using what she had while looking over some of the things as she shifted her eyes looking over a couple of thing and moving. "We get out the door and go exploring."

She looked at her and presented the metal while looking with a nd of her head towards where the teachers generall sat and looked in on them from time to time. "Alright, I'll play look out you go and get the door. Then we get out of here." She was prepared for many of the things while standing there giving some attention and movements. "The rest of you act normal and prepare to cover our escape." THe other kids were looking at things as she moved off to let her beanie bob up and down under the window as she was looking in. "Alright go go go."

Brook positions the bobby pin and the piece of metal twisting and breaking the lock loose "We're good to go." She said grabbing the girl and running

Laurie was running with her and laughing to herself as she moved quickly. Letting the force energies go around her while she plotted more things checking out the city and all of its things. "So where do you want to go first?"

"Anywhere but that day care." She says smiling and laughing

Hahaha she was laughing now and that meant many things... one she was having fun or had stolen her older sisters beanie.... One of them was true and the other a mystery before the small padawan was running keeping her attention on some of the buildings. "Well we're going to need stuff, shiny things we can run around with."

"Follow me I know where some is." She says grabbing her hand and pulling her down an alley way and into a garage filled with top of the line land speeders "Have your pick."

She was going with her and taking all of it seeing the buildings and taking them in while the idea of knowing anythign here seemed strange... but she was excited seeing the speeders. "Ohhhh we could totally have some fun here." She was laughing and keeping all the attention on herself before she touched one of them. "These look so fun."

"Come on." She says jumping into the nearest one

She wasn't exactly certain if the whole taking a speeder thing was the best idea but you only live once... unless you are a sith in which case you live again and again and again. "Alright lets go." She was looking at her now and climbing in with a smile on her face lacing the strigs for it so she could keep the beanie on with the air possibly rushing by.

Brook hot wires the engine and they take off flying it is so much fun with the wind rushing through her hair

Laurie was ready and as they started she was looking over some of the cool things all around them. With the wind in their hair and trying to keep her eyes over the dashboard so she could see over it. "You got any idea where we are going to?" She was curious as it seemed like Brooklyn had a plan more so then her but never knew what might be able to happen.

"Um we could go to the mall." She says and floors it

"Cool." All she needed to say really, they would be able to find plenty of things to do in the mall or stuff... she liked stuff, stuff was cool. "THink I have my dads credit card." That would go a long way while she was looking out among the city.

Brook steers the Land speeder to the mall and finds a spot to park it. Then after jumping out she says "So what do you wanna do first?"

Laurie was worried for a time while they were driving and she was thankful almost to the point of getting out and kissing the pavement with her excitement for being alive and surviving the real dangers of it all as the small girl smiled. "Hmmm where to go, we should check out the stores for toys." Yep and her daddy had a charge card for emergencies... what greater emergency was there then lack of teddy bears."
