Anja Aj'Rou Master Promotion

Since the inception of the Primeval, Anja has spent a period of time developing her own character whilst at the same time leading the Primeval to the position it is in now. There is a lot potential here in the Primeval and Anja has been the driving force behind that.

Her writing ability and character portrayal is, in my opinion, at the level of a Master ranked character and I would like to put Anja's promotion to Witch Elder onto the table.

The Dark Master, of course, is voting yes with the OP.

I am going to say that I would like to see more development from you as a writer, and as a character. Do something more, teach others, increase the amount of interaction with others who are not in the faction itself.

I'd just like to make note my motives for this promotion. Something I've already mentioned to all of you.

The Primeval's Bleeding Sun is something I intend to eventually make on par with other force-user organizations such as the Jedi Oder or Sith Lords. As it's Witch-based, I believe that presents a unique opportunity to make the force-user tier path once again a vibrant and active one within the community. I am well aware that this isn't the first witch order but I do believe it is the only one that's been consistently active as of late.

One of my biggest concerns is not having any active Witch Elders to fill the shoes of a Bleeding Sun master. Now that the Bleeding Sun is more active than it was a month ago, with Anja having taken two to three apprentices, I want to be able to see growth as an Order. I want to be able to promote people to Witch Spellweaver after proper development and still be able to promise them more with dedication and creativity to eventually earn their spot as an Elder when once again the vote is called.

I was once told that the esteemed RPJs examine three qualities in a potential Master candidate:

• Creativity
• Penmanship
• Motivation

Of these, there is no doubt that our dear candidate more than fulfills the first two traits. However, I'd like to see more in the third. More development for the character, more growth, etc. As such, my vote is a No for the time being.

2 for yes and 2 for no. In the event of a tie, the faction administrators must make the final decision, because It'd be quite arbitrary of me to have a say in that I'll let [member="Tesar Osted"] have the final say.

Albeit I am not the most active on this character, I RP on this site with Anja quite often. The development and thought put into her roleplay is outstanding. She constantly works to provide fresh, quality RP to others in this faction and does her best to accept every PC, regardless of the situation. Time and effort have both been put into this character, and I personally feel that they are more than deserving of this rank. From an IC perspective, I do not see this as an issue given Anja's status. Nor do I see thsi as an issue from an OOC perspective, in regards to motivation and development. I vote yes.

Okay, sorry I was busy dreaming up ships and preparing our fleet stuff for the invasion x-x

Anyway! As I said earlier, since the master vote was 2-2 it meant that the Faction Admins had to convene and discuss. Since the only faction admins left -- with Ozuvyn's departure, that left Tesar as the only available man to tie the knot.

Thus the tie was concluded with a Yes vote. That being said, unless I'm wrong due to being sleep-deprived, means that the RPJs will take it to voting and make the final decision. I've tagged Maria in this post because she has been the one helping me with the process for the last week, and for that I'm grateful.

We'll see how this turns out and I'll make sure to let everyone know the final answer on the matter.

Otherwise I'd like to thank everyone for speaking up; nay and yay sayers alike. A lot of points have been made and I feel that regardless of what comes to be that we as a faction can take this experience into thought for future promotions whenever and however they may be.

Here are some suggestions and recommendations from the RPJ's:​

More character development. More interaction with others, more teaching of others, more mastering of her own skills through IC experiences.

While she is a great writer, the character in it of itself should develop a bit more to achieve that mastery.

Since the time between the judgement and now I've done maybe 4-6 new RP threads. including the training of others and force-user mastery experience.

Easy thing to say now that Tef's done the capping, but I'd absolutely have voted yes.
