Name: Andre’al
Designation: Sentient
Homeworld: Glyss
Language: Galactic Basic, Omwatese
Average height of adults: Between 1.6-2.3 meters
Skin color: Purple, Lavender, Celeste, Electric Blue, Blue-gray, ect...
Hair color: Silver, White, Black
Eye Color: Gold, Electric-Blue, Silver, Purple
Breathes: Type 1
Strengths:

  • Agility: All Andre’al are naturally agile beings capable of feats akin to a acrobat.

  • Intelligence: The Andre’al have retained the Omwati’s high intelligence allowing them to achieve great feats in science, art and even battle doing calculations on the fly.

  • Witchcraft: The Andre'al are drawn to the more supernatrual aspect of the force. Finding common force abilities rather distasteful and simplistic, preferring more challenging arts of the unexplored and limitless.

  • Reflexes: All Andre’al seem to have naturally quick reflexes however it is instead their brain making the calculations on the fly that grants them such abilities.

  • Limiters: The Andre’al lack the mental limiters that other species have on their abilities which allows the Andre’al to use all their strength and speed usually making them close to two times stronger or faster than a base human.

Weaknesses:

  • Facial Bones: They have retained the Omwati’s weaker facial structure over the years and a hit hard enough can break bones or even shatter a Andre’al’s skull.

  • Wasted Potential: While all Omwati are naturally intelligent if their minds are not constantly working or have some form of stimuli the species can go into a coma unable to come out. Even when asleep they need something to keep their mind occupied.

  • Dark Side: Having also descended from Dathomirians, the Andre’al have a natural pull to the darkside and it is much easier for one to become sucked into it with the Dark side instead controlling them.

  • Healing: Andre’al heal slower than most humanoids as bruises can last for close to a month, and scars last forever without fading. They are also more prone to bleeding out and going into shock quicker than other species.

  • Madness: When approaching the later years of their life usually once they are in their late sixties the Andre’al are prone to insanity due to their mental capacities going in overdrive for so many years.

  • Muscle Fatigue: Due to not being able to control their muscles the Andre’al’s muscles are always working in overdrive and when they go to rest after extensive combat they usually have to sleep a minimum of twenty four hours with the longest being two full days.

  • Cybernetic Rejection: When a limb or other part of the body is lost it is impossible for a Andre’al to replace it with a cybernetic as their bodies naturally reject such things which can lead to a form of poisoning that spreads throughout their body and can potentially kill them. This also applies to nanomachines and such.

  • Metabolism: Even the smallest of the Andre’al can pack away loads of food as they have to do so to fuel their muscles and ever going brain.

Culture: Descending from both Omwati and native Dathomirian’s the Andre’al never truly had a culture of their own till the original ones who had colonized the Aradia system had passed on. However the tales of their forefathers have always been passed down. Tales of how the first queen of the Aradia system not only tamed a Mynkir saving her village, but eventually went on to form a bond with a Te’Van. These tales are used as both bedtime stories to the young children and tales to inspire the adults to be the best they can be.

Though being up to the galactic standard in technology the Andre’al still have to do things common of tribals. Often times they would have to not only have to herd Duxalo, but must also protect them from other creatures such as the Mynkir and other predators. Just as the Duxalo’s meat feeds them and its fur clothes them the Andre’al offer their protection to the beasts and are willing to throw down their lives to protect their stock. The same can not be said for a Mynkir as the general populace have learned to fear the creatures and their destructive nature, however stories are always told about how the domesticated ones are their guardians and the warriors for their cities. It doesn’t take a genius to see that the species itself almost worships the Te’Van seeing the beasts as signs of prosperity and wealth with and Andre’al willing to give their lives to protect them.

The Andre’al is very much a monarchy and unlike most it is not chosen through heredity or vote, it is chosen through who can take the throne. As long as one family is strong enough to hold on to the throne it will pass down through their family, however if another topples the leadership they become the king or queen of the Andria system. The species has very much shown to be more loyal to the throne than to whoever sits on it.

Technology level: Sentient, The Andre'al have a level of technology that is similar to the galactic standard. While not rather advanced or particularly inferior, they are capable of designing and creating their own forms of weapons, armor, vehicles and ships.

General behavior: Andrie’al are very much a species that likes to keep to themselves and mind their own business. They do not willingingly go looking for fights or battles often being seen as a peaceful species. The Force Users of the species often times have an almost obsession with their ancestors force religions and have often left the Andria system in search for information on Dathomirian witches and Omwati cultures. The NFU’s however could care less often seeing it as a waste of time and would rather devote their time to what they deem more important tasks such as their pursuits in science and such.

History: During the times of the Vong War many species fled their homes out of fear of death by the Vong. The Omwati were such a people and using their still relatively new hyperdrive technology a large portion of the species fled to the far reaches of the Outter Rim in hopes of escaping destruction, as none wanted to suffer the same fate as other planets. Eventually using random jump coordinates they came across a star system that seemed relatively empty and upon landing on the nearest planet they were welcomed by crash landed Dathomirians who had the same idea. Whether it was luck or a divine act of the force is still up for debate among the Andrie’al.

The first decade or so was spent with the species colonizing the planet Glyss and surviving the planet's frigid temperatures while battling against the Zerith. After the rise of a powerful Dathomirian Witch named Titania the immigrants were shown a new way to live. One filled with large amounts of growth where the Force users from both the Omwati race and the Dathomirians would control the minds of Mynkir and Duxalo having them assist in the transportation of supplies and the building of homes and use them as war beasts against the Zerith. Soon enough those small villages expanded into large cities and Titania ascended to the throne proclaiming herself queen of not only Glyss but the entire Andria system.

Over time the pure Omwati and Dathomirian’s died off leaving only the Andrie’al behind to take up the lineage and finish what their ancestors had began Though due to such events like the Gulag Plague and the Netherworld event their population has been severely decreased.

Notable Player-Characters: N/A
Intent: To create a unique race in the Andria system for players to use, and for the characters that have already been created.

This seems contradictory, they're semi sentient but can make battle calculations on the fly and use witchcraft. Semi-sentient is for cavemen like creatures that are smart enough to use rocks as tools but not much more. I might bump this up to sentient unless you have a good reason

If you do bump them up to sentient then add a paragraph or two here
