And lost without deserving...

Gir looked from Mannou to [member="Arabella Darkhold"] and back again as he thought about it. He knew that Azira would hate it. It relied on third parties that he couldn't track or keep accountable. They also ran the risk of it being an ambush, given how the local authorities probably viewed him. Yet during their time together, Gir had come to the conclusion that Arabella didn't harbor any ill will towards him. Perhaps just as importantly from a corporate standpoint, he didn't have any other leads about Mannou. They could keep searching, but the longer they did so, the greater the risk that either he or Azira would be caught. We might almost be better off looking for another man if we don't have any other leads...but that would also mean that we've wasted time here...I guess it's high risk, high reward...The blonde man slowly began to nod in assent.

"That will work," said Gir, "if you would like, I could also take my ship to you, if that would be easier."

Bella looked at Manou, "would that work do you prefer to send coordinates to him if this Cassius does exist, and if he really wants to leave Atrisia?" There was hope in the old man's eyes, and concern.

She smiled at Manou, "that would work as well this way there is no pressure, just set a time, and provide a frequency, and then a location can be provided" This was excellent Gir would have the opportunity to get the engineer, or at least the attempt at having the engineer.

She sat back quite pleased that this seemed to be working out so well, Manou stood up nodded to Bella and then looked at Gir, "a frequency, and a time"

Bella watched the two men while she would occasionally look into the depths of her tea. It felt good to help someone.

She remembered the story Manou told, yes it was definitely better to help than to harm. Justice comes about in the oddest of ways, perhaps in time it would give her the right opportunity.

[member="Gir Quee"]

That sounds reasonable. But what time to pick? From a strategic standpoint, Gir knew that he had to balance it with allowing the man time to prepare to leave, but not staying on Atrisia for so long that he might be detected by the One Sith. On a more tactical standpoint, a movement at nightfall or early in the morning would lessen the chances of someone seeing them. It was almost tempting to leave first thing in the morning, buthe remembered that Azira wished to check up on an old contact.

"Shall we say 20:00 tomorrow?" said Gir, "that will give you the day to prepare, and it'll be dark enough that we should be able to leave without drawing too much attention. You can reach me on comlink frequency 635.7534.6423....let me write that down for you."

Gir pulled out a shred of flimsiplast from an old cargo manifest and scrawled down that number. As he slid it over to the other man, another thought occurred to him. He pulled out another piece of flimsiplast and wrote another number on it before he slid it over to [member="Arabella Darkhold"].

"I feel that you should have a way to contact me in the future," explained the blonde man, "that number will direct you to my holoNet account. If I am not on, you can always leave me a message."

Arabella looked at the number, she had not expected him to give her the number. Manou took the number nodded and then with a nod he walked out the door. His head perhaps a little higher than she had seen it before.

She couldn't help but smile.

"Thank you for this Gir it means a great to me. A great deal" She couldn't explain it right now how such a simple gesture of giving her a number should she need it, want it, be there for her.

She might have use of this for certain she had a home on Vena far from here far from everything that held her here. She could have a new life on Vena, she could reconnect to her family on Alderaan, she could maybe see Gir again.

He was different from Caid and Maudie, he seemed so much more calmer, that anchor that people cling to.

"Shall we go? Do are you now addicted to the local tea?"

She hoped that Cassius would be happy again, that he excited and gave Gir what he needed. But mostly she hoped if Cassius went that he found redemption.

Gir glanced briefly downwards and chuckled at [member="Arabella Darkhold"]'s comment about the tea.

"It is quite exquisite," said the blonde man, briefly lowering his voice, "though I'm not sure if it'll be quite the same if I take a crate of it with me. Well, perhaps I could probably learn to steep and infuse it just right, but the experience wouldn't be quite the same as the one I've enjoyed here. Thank you for extending your hospitality and valuable time to a stranger. I am certain that without your help, that I would still be wandering through the marketplace."

Gir briefly considered that thought for a second. The galaxy is filled with many different peoples and cultures, but I suppose there is a thread of humanity that still runs through many of us, regardless of our politics and loyalties. That thought engendered a brief feeling of hope as he prepared to leave.

"May I escort you to your house?" asked Gir.

She nodded, "I would like that very much" answering his question about escorting her back. She made sure that everything was taken care of for the meal and the drinks, her treat after all.

She rose up slowly a bit stiff from sitting so long, it was a beautiful night outside the stars sparkled across the sky somewhere out there under neath this same light she hoped her family was safe and would be home soon.

She turned to look at [member="Gir Quee"] "I want to thank you for being so kind to Manou and giving him the opportunity to send Cassius to you if he is here. I think he was quite proud of what he had accomplished tonight" she laughed, "I've never seen him walk so tall before"

"You will be leaving tomorrow. I." She paused, "am saddened by this, you have been great company and easy to talk to, thank you for that as well" it wasn't very many off worlders who could come to Atrisia and be so kind.
