An unorthodox weapon

Einarr had gone through numerous texts and journals that the One Sith library possessed and had taken those that he required with him to a secluded training area in the Sith Academy. The tall Valkyr sat on the ground patiently reading through what ancient and contemporary Sith Lords had written regarding the use of Force Weapon and Sith Magic. Beside him, he had brought with him a stick, a shovel, a kitchen knife and a dozen of little rocks.

To be deadly on the battlefield, one had to be unpredictable...

With a slight nod half to himself, half to the journal he had just been reading, Einarr stood up and took the shovel in his hands. It was time to make a deadly weapon from a simple farming tool. Ironic, how a few years back he would be using this same shovel to dig the ground at his clan's farmstead. Now he would be learning how to wield it as a weapon to kill.

First step: Project the Force into the item.

He tapped into the flow of the Force and began his attempts to engul the shovel with the Force. Einarr imagined the flow of the Force within him projecting into the weapon similiar to how telekinesis was utilized with the expulsion of the Force. Yet this required greater skills, focus and narrowness.

With an abrupt stab in the concrete floor, the shovel only vibrated throughout his body. He had lost control of it the moment he attempted the action.

The Force is your tool. Use it.

Einarr proceeded on projecting the Force through the shovel and once again attempted to stab the concrete floor. Again with no success. Frustration was slowly rising within him and emotions were part of the game now. He had learned only basic Sith Alchemy and Sith Magic during his years following Darth Jythar's holocrons. Of course, they had only helped him forge his own Sith Sword and Sith Axe. Someday, he had promised, that he would advance greatly in those skills and create weapons beyond the typical Sith Sword or Axe but now... Now he had to learn this accursed Force weapon technique.

As he channeled the Force once again through the shovel, an HK-51 assassin droid entered the the training area distracting the tall Valkyr from his training.

"Sarcastic statement: Sentient seems to be faring well."

Einarr liften an eyebrow and then momentarily returned back to what he had been doing. The Force surged through the shovel and the man stabbed with it the concrete ground only for it vibrate again. It was not piercing through but it was withstanding the concrete from getting bent. That was some progress. Once again, he did the same-

"Sarcastic statement: Shovel rolls a six: Resistant to farmer's Force powers."

Abruptly and highly annoyed by the random droid, the Valkyr tossed the shovel up in the air so he could grab it like a javelin and with the intent to destroy the droid hurled it with brute strength and the Force enhancing its speed. The shovel flew surprisingly fast and the droid's feet lit up as its embedded jet pack in its feet chaotically pushed him aside from the hurled projectile.

The shovel pierced the steel door's frame just where the droid was standing a moment ago. Einarr was pleasantly surprised at what he had achieved, his emotions had empowered his connection to the Force and the technique finally worked to his surprise. He was pleased with the result of a simple shovel piercing through a steel door as if it was made of carton. This was the power of the Force.

"Evaluation: Do not underestimate a farmer with a shovel."

"You bet your ass of scrap you don't." Einarr replied with his typical wolfish grin on his face.

"Correction: Negative, farmer. Murdercorpse (4 u [member="Keira Ticon"]) does not have an affinity for gambling as part of its protocols yet."

Einarr scoffed at the way the droid spoke. He had seen rarely droids due to his upbringing as a Valkyr, during his periods of wandering the galaxy being taught by Darth Jythar's holocron the warrior had seen many. None like this one though. More or less, the droid piqued his interest.

"So what are your protocols then, Murdercorpse?" Einarr decided to ask, his wolfish grin on his face.

"Response: Murdercorpse's protocols involve killing targets efficiently in various different ways." With that response, Einarr's face turned dark as he grabbed for his axe. Seeing that, the droid spoke again.

"Clarification: Murdercorpse does not kill One Sith Masters." The droid spoke. "Sarcastic addition: Even if they are farmers."

Einarr dropped his hand from the head of his axe, his wolfish grin once again on his face as he scoffed.

"Why are you here then?"

"Response: To observe farmer's abilities." The assassin droid replied. "Clarification: Murdercorpse has been installed with more independent protocols than most droids."

Einarr shook his head at the funny way the droid kept speaking and decided to leave the conversation as it was. He returned to the more important objective at present - Force Weapon.

The massive Valkyr grabbed the stick and channeled the Force within it.

Second step: Dictate what capabilities you give to the item.

He had just imbued the shovel with piercing capabilities on top of the general endurance the Force gave passively when channeled through the object. When he believed that he had done imbued the stick with more, the Valkyri slashed at the concrete floor aiming to crush it rather than pierce it i.e adding to it a blunt enhancement capable of shattering the concrete. The stick did not break but neither did the floor, the blunt ability he tried channeling into it had not worked.

And once again the same cycle. His channeling was becoming much more easier with much less thought to it.

"Sarcastic observation: Farmer is attempting to beat some sense into the floor with his stick. Stick, as much as the shovel, fits farmer's appearance."

Karking piece of scrap...

The process of trying to 'beat sense into the ground' continued and the more he attempted, the more the power he was trying to achieve with the stick rose. The more he kept trying, the easier his channeling became until it became a thought in his back. The primary thought was giving the stick a blunt force capable of shattering the concrete floor when it struck it. The more attempts he made, the more frustrated he was becoming.

Break.

Einarr slammed the stick with immense power that the concrete floor shattered into fissures around the Valkyr. What was more interesting was what followed. After the impact with the concrete floor, the stick imploded into numerous almost perfectly sliced splinters. As if Einarr knew the flaws within the stick and disrupting a specific part led to it shattering so perfectly. The acolyte dropped the pile of splinters on the ground next to where he had just struck, eyes wide at what he had done.

What power is this?

"Statement: The farmer killed one bird with two stones. He beat some sense into the floor and to the stick as well."

Einarr looked with a slight grin at the assassin droid, knowing well that he could replicate the breaking the stick in such a way with the Force again but happy of achieving his initial success.

"If only you knew the power of the Force, droid." He scoffed at the droid, his tone somewhat challenging.

"Contemplation: Perhaps it is only a power granted to farmers." The Valkyr's laugh at the droid's statement echoed throughout the empty training room.

There was more to do.

He took the kitchen knife in his hands and began the process of channeling the Force into it. Apart from that, he wanted the knife not only to pierce through concrete but the its slash to be beyond its physical reach. Einarr wanted to slash at the steel wall without hitting it physically but delivering a slice into it due to the Force nonetheless.

A second, phantom attack with the Force...

The Invisible second blade is what Sith Lords referred to such application of the Force Weapon technique.

And so as channeling became much more easier to the acolyte, he was now putting more thought into making the Force take the shape of the knife around it so the knife could have an invisible edge to it made from the Force resulting in an increased range of the weapon without that range being actually seen as it was the Force. Einarr began a furious combo of slashing at the steel wall of the training area without actually touching the wall with the knife physically but wanting the Force to slice the wall rather than the physical blade of the kitchen knife. It resulted in numerous failed attempt and the continuous empowerment that dark side of the Force fed unto him.

With a silent grunt Einarr slashed at the steel wall without touching it with the knife's blade, the Force imbued into it left a slight scratch mark on the wall as if someone had drawn a straight line with a pen on a paper. It had worked, yet not with the efficacy that the Valkyr desired. Yes, if it was flesh it would leave a thin, slightly deep slice but Einarr craved for more, he desired more. His enemies would not be bare naked, they would be armored some with durasteel and others with even more impenetrable materials such as phrik, the Force was beyond those physical properties of materials but one had to channel such power into the Force for it to overcome such obstacles. Hence, Einarr was trying to leave a thorough and deep slice in a steel wall.

More power...

His emotions and ambition fueled his connection with the Force via the dark side and his continuous slashes slowly began to be more and more effective.

More!!..

Not much more...

The steel wall was beginning to cave in from the increase of Force power channeled into the knife as it sliced the steel wall without physically touching it but due to the Force's touch. Einarr's brow was becoming a waterfall of sweat, this was by far much harder than the previous exercises of Force weapon. It was a much more precise exercise and required much more concentration and more definite Force input. It was draining even the seemingly endless stamina that Valkyri have, both mentally and physically it was exhausting and it seemed that the droid had noticed that.

"Proposition: The farmer looks as if he needs a bit of a break. Biological units have finite supply of energy unlike the superior droid units such as Murdercorpse."

The exhaustion was already fueling his anger due to his impatience to see results, the droid added the last needed drop of oil into the fire to turn it into a blaze. Einarr turned sharply towards the droid who simply stood a dozen feet away from the Valkyr and slashed with the Force imbued knife in the air...and he did it something unexpected. The anger from the exhaustion imbued the blade with a great input of the Force and that input was...released. An invisible straight energy of the Force in the shape of the straight line that the kitchen knife possessed but larger, the size of a common vibrosword blade's length, was propelled from the seemingly harmless slash in the air by Einarr. For some reason, perhaps Murdercorpse had indeed really advanced protocols regarding reaction to Force users and their capabilities, the droid utilized its jet engine under its feet to go in the air evading the lethal invisible slice of the Force that struck the steel wall behind it drawing a straight and deep line into the wall.

The wolfish grin...

"You've been very useful, surprisingly, for a piece of scrap."

"Evaluation: Do not underestimate a farmer with a kitchen knife, as well."

Einarr proceeded honing his skills with the Force Weapon technique by switching between the already used items, leaving the dozen pebbles on the ground for later. He was switching quickly between each different object imbuing it with the Force and giving it the same properties he had been giving them previously. Now, he was trying to enhance his capability of switching between different variations of it as quickly as possible so he could become much more unpredictable than he already was.

He continued doing this cycle, slowly becoming better in it. Mistakes accompanied him numerous times. Sometimes he would imbue the knife with a blunt weapon's properties rather than what he had done before or he would give the stick sharp properties allowing it to cut the concrete floor rather than shattering it but the more Einarr trained, the better he became and much more exhaustion began accompanying him. The exhaustion was becoming even to much for him to be able to channel his anger from being exhausted into the Force and when he realized that it had become too much, the Valkyri halted dropping everything on the ground along with himself. Entering a meditative state stabilizing his heavy panting, his whole body relaxed

Rejuvenation much needed...

Einarr stood up from his medidative position, crackes his knuckles and stretched. Inhaling deeply, he felt the results of the Force rejuvenating the Valkyr's stamina. His brow was dry as the desert, not even signs of moisture from the sweat, the Sith felt reborn. He was ready to continue his training eagerly on delivering more successful results. Results that lead him to the next step of attaining power to rally the Valkyri on a galactic-wide raid. One step closer to realizing that dream.

So much more to go...

"Inquiry: Is the farmer ready to have another go at the dangerous and life-threatening objects of this room such as the wall and the floor?" The droid immediately continued its streak of sarcastic comments the moment Einarr had stood up. It had not left the area at all and the Valkyr was glad. The droid did manage to annoy him to such a level that he was able to amplify his Force output which resulted in successful demonstrations of the power of the Force.

"Do you ever shut up, scrap?"

"Statement: It is against Murdercorpse's protocols to do so."

The Valkyr smirked as he dragged the dozen pebbles on the ground up in the air via Force grip. His telekinetic abilities were rapidly increasing, he noticed, especially when he had to use them in combat. That is where Einarr achieved the most rapid development of his Force talent. Focusing intently on the dozen pebbles in the air he began his attempts of channeling the Force into them via the power of the Force weapon technique.

This would be the hardest up till now...

It did not take him that long to keep the pebbles imbued with the Force and moving them around with the Force. The problem was that the moment he began hurling at the walls using the Force, he was losing his Force connection with them which made them simply hurled away pebbles with no special abilities. After numerous and numerous attempts, frustration began fueling his connection with the dark side of the Force. Emotions empowering that link immensely.

With a roar, he hurled them with the Force towards the steel wall, the dark side blazing within him. The result was that half of them had stuck into the wall while the other half dropped down on the ground useless. He gripped them once again, all of them, with the Force and brought them back. Einarr began imagining the impact slugs had on flesh, that was what his end goal was to be eventually. Maybe that might not happen until after many more attempts but sticking them into steel was also good enough, especially with the kinetic force they attained.

Keep going...

Einarr's efforts continued restlessly. He felt this activity as tiring as all the previous ones put together. Despite their small size, he was utilizing Force grip along with Force weapon. The latter was also being used from range rather by physically touching the small pebbles which made this exercise much more difficult and complicated. The pebbles were continuously being hurled at the wall, the damage they dealt to the durasteel walls was increasing more and more until finally...

Pierce!

The pebbles flew with unreal speed hurled by the Force of Einarr at the durasteel wall digging much deeper than before which lead to Einarr breaking sweat and a wolfish grin on his face. He had succeeded, they were deep enough that with such capability they could be a dangerous force against higher-grade heavy armor. Not enough to pierce or cause lethal damage, although even that would come someday, but enough to be regarded as a threat.

"Statement: Farmer has succeeded."

The Sith acolyte, this time, did not really take in the humor demonstrated by the assassin droid. Instead, rage seeped into his bloodstream feeding the dark side of the Force within him. It engulfed him greatly as he Force gripped the pebbles from the wall and yanked them out, hurling them dangerously towards the droid. The droid activated his rocket boots once again but this time Einarr had expected it as such the pebbles rather than striking the droid went close enough that the acolyte surged through them with the Force the Ionize technique. The small purple beams struck the droid causing it to malfunction for a bit, enough for his rocket boots to shut down and the droid in turn to land flat on its back. The Ionize technique may not have been strong enough to shut it down but it had proven to Einarr his potential in the Force. Three Force techniques complementing each other at once was a great feat but one he would be able to achieve and maintain much later in his path of unlocking his potential to the Force.

With the wolfish grin back on his face, Einarr took his leave from the training room having his efforts yielding great results.
