An Unintended Introduction

Sera shrugged, now wasn't the time to have a debate over whether or not Aodh was or was not capable of using the Force. She wasn't even certain as to the degree he might be able to manifest its' power or control it. That would have to come later. For now, getting off of Coruscant was more important than figuring out his midichlorian count. "There's a vast scale of degrees people are able to utilize the Force. Some can only sense its' presence, others can use it to predict the future in some ways, visions of sorts, while others can harness its ability, such as the Jedi and Sith. We don't have time to figure out where you fall into that puzzle just yet."

As the Twi'lek finished clearing her space of her own belongings she turned back to Aodh and strode towards the entryway. "Very well, but we'll need to be quick. Lead the way."

Aodh let out a grateful sigh of relief, as he began to move towards the door. "Thank the karkin' Rebels, I can go back! Now, uh...You're gonna have to show me the route back to where we were before, as you seemed to go through literally every single back alley and dark crevice to get here. Now, lets get a move on!" He said, holding the door open for her. Once they were both out Aodh motioned for her to lead the way down the streets. Aodh's thoughts were preoccupied with all his questions, concerns and unbridled excitement over this strange turn in his average routine. For him, this was an extremely confusing and slightly worrying experience, but hey, he was 'Born to Run', and who was he to turn down this kind of adventure?

Aodh stared down into the dark, shaded alley in front of him, still unsure, but now more ready than he ever would be to accept his new and strange life offworld of Coruscant.

"Of course." She said as she led Aodh back towards where she had found him so that he could collect his own belongings. The Twi'lek had only a few things of her own which fit neatly into her own pack, slung over her left shoulder as they walked through the narrow alleyways back towards where the now dispersed crowd had previously gathered. "Have you ever been off Coruscant?" She wondered, curious to know if he'd ever seen any other planets for himself, or if, like most in the undercity, had never the opportunity to discover the galaxy.

While they walked Sera thought to herself about what exactly she would do with him once they actually left Coruscant. She hadn't really planned at all for this. She wasn't a Jedi anymore, but if Aodh was going to learn he would need a master of some kind. Should she take him to Ossus? Would they accept him from her? Surely Corvus wouldn't let harm come to the man, but the council may very well deny his apprenticeship based on his age and circumstances of discovery. Perhaps it would simply be best if she trained him on her own, keeping on the move. There was surely much for him to learn.

Aodh began to search through his meager living quarters, grabbing every single photo, blaster, scrap of metal, and his flame-retardent suit and flame thrower to make sure he at least had some means of defense. "Subtle, right?" Aodh remarked with his typical crooked grin. He chuckled and began moving towards the door, once more holding it open for the link Twi'lek.

"Uh, yeah, I was born on Ord Mantell, to my underage mother, who I barely remember, and one hutt-spawn spacer who enjoyed getting boozed up all the time. Fantastic family, I know. Pop ditched my mom, took off go Taris to scrape a few credits here and there for a few months and BAM! We end up on Coruscant. Well, that's my story, where tha' kark are you from?" He genially asked. Aodh strolled down the steps, only to see a few Imperial Guards strolling around. He cursed, grabbed Seraphina by the arm and dragged her into a nearby alley. He motioned for her go stay low, and began to creep out of the Imperial's line of sight.

Standing just past the entryway as Aodh gathered his collection of memorabilia and personal affects, the Twi'lek raised a brow as he collected a series of rather non-discreet weapons including a flame thrower. "Subtle? Not quite the word I would choose." Quite frankly she was a bit concerned at how he planned on carrying all of this out, though despite her concerns he managed seemingly well. Must have done this more than once she thought to herself.

"I see." She said, as they headed out the door and through the series of filthy streets and alleys towards the spaceport. "My family was originally from Ryloth, but I was born on Cambria. I grew up there until I was seven with my older brother. That was when my parents found out I had a connection to the Force, at which point they shipped me off to Ossus to the Jedi temple for training. My brother was angry, jealous, and he ran away from home. I haven't been back home since the Sith took control of the vast majority of former Republic space."

As the pair ducked into the alleyway to avoid the guards Sera knelt down and looked across the street into the opposite alley. A rather large dumpster would make a perfect momentary distraction. The Twi'lek extended her left hand and focused her mind for a few brief moments. The large metallic crate then lifted gracefully off of the duracrete beneath it, and toppled onto its' side, spilling a rather large pile of rubbish into the street. The few guards rushed over towards the area to inspect the cause, and Sera looked over to Aodh and gave him a nod. "Let's go, while they are busy."

Aodh nodded only to be caught off guard by Seraphina's extravagant display of the Force. "Well that was fethin' impressive. You must be great at parties! He commented. Despite all his years of travelling across the galaxy, he had only seen a Jedi or Sith once, during the One Sith's Sack of Coruscant, and that was only from live broadcast down to the lower levels, so seeing Seraphina was going to be one of the most memorable moments of his entire life.

Aodh grinned as he saw the guards blocking the entrance to the spaceport move away due to the distraction the pink Twi'lek made, allowing for the perfect opening.

"Look! We got our perfect shot, c'mon!"

"I'm not invited to many, if you'd believe that." She smirked. Did Jedi ever really party? Did meditation groups count as parties? She wasn't really sure. Still, now was their opportunity to make use of the brief distraction and make themselves scarce, or rather, get the kark off of Coruscant! Sera grabbed Aodh by the hand and pulled him up with her as she raced towards the entryway and up the rather steep staircase with just enough time to spare before the guards lost their interest in whatever caused the ruckus with the dumpster, or perhaps they were repulsed by the stench it gave off when it toppled over. Either way, she had accomplished what was necessary for the moment.

"Come on, I have a ship at hangar 7. It's rather nice, but it allowed me to fool the dock workers into believing I was someone of importance, and with a false ID, they didn't ask any questions. Once we're out of here you'll be a lot safer. Then, and only then, can we find out just where you fit into the puzzle."

Aodh grinned as he was dragged up the steps by Seraphina. Whatever she had seen in him had given her some wicked energy, or maybe she was just ready to get off the dirty and grimy world of Coruscant. Either way, her good mood was infectious and Aodh was laughing like a madman as he sprinted up to the hangar. He briefly wondered what would happen to his deadbeat Dad, but, he didn't really give a chit at this point. As Aodh entered Hangar 7, he let out a low whistle as he saw Seraphina's ship. "Kaaaarrrrkkkk, that's a fine ship ya' got there. Luxury Cruiser? Deluxe Starfighter? A really souped-up & tricked-out landspeeder?" He humorously asked.

Aodh walked by the ship, running his hands across it in admiration to the design and overall craft of the vehicle. "Where'd ya' even get this? I've been 'round the block a few times, but seriously, this ship is the deluxe package!" He leaned against the chrome exterior, waiting for Seraphina to allow him in.

Seraphina wandered over to the dock, entering in the security code to lower the ramp to the ship while Aodh glared at the vessel. "It's a Nubian luxury yacht. A LUX-YT68 to be specific. Only 100 were made. I would know, I designed them." She said with a smile. "It has no weapons, but she is sure fast, and has plenty of things to help make space travel more tolerable." As the ramp lowered she returned to stand next to it, taking great care to make sure that there weren't any guards with prying eyes watching them. "Most Jedi don't involve themselves with material possessions, let alone running companies, depending on the code they follow anyway. You'll find I am a bit different from other Jedi in many ways."

Turning to look up and into the beautifully chrome plated starship, she gestured towards Aodh to head on in with a warm smile. "Let's get lost. I think we've overstayed our welcome."

Aodh nodded, giving one last look at the stunning exterior of the ship. "...Right. Yeah, uh...Material possessions, and uh...this ship so nice, I mean, holy chit - I mean, ahem, yeah let's get going!" Aodh enthusiastically said, hoping she didn't notice him muttering under his breath.

The young criminal - Former Criminal - hopped onto the ship, excited about his new life.

Once aboard, Sera sealed the ramp to the ship and began the preparations for take off. Once coordinates were in place the ship could autopilot itself to their destination - Phindar.

As the ship raised from Coruscant's surface, breaching the atmosphere, Sera turned to Aodh and beckoned him to follow her towards the rear of the ship to the bar room. As they walked she explained where she was taking him. "It will take some time to reach our destination. We're leaving Sith controlled space entirely. We're we are going though? It's not all roses and happy, friendly people either. The Republic is crumbling faster than anyone could imagine, and I fear they won't stand much longer. So for now, we'll take up refuge in Mandalorian space, specifically on Phindar. I have a home there, it's incredibly remote, and the planet itself rarely gets outside visitors."

The Twi'lek extended her hand to the entrance of the bar, allowing Aodh to step in and have a seat. One of the droid attendants came by after a few moments and asked the two what they would like. "Almost anything you can think of is stocked, I assure you." She smiled to the man before turning back to the droid and ordering a tall glass of Tallian wine.

Aodh grinned as he gazed upon the luxurious interior of Seraphina's ship. "For a Jedi, you sure know how to live life to the fullest! Trust me, this is by far the finest ship I have ever seen in all my days plaguing this galaxy." Aodh chuckled, bringing his self-deprecating humor into his statement. Despite the fact he had travelled and traversed the worlds of the Core, he had never seen a ship on this level of quality, even considering the rich and opulent citizens who resided on Coruscant's surface. "O', got a fancy little droid butler, don't ya'? Man, can I get on this? I want to have a mindless slave doing all my bidding...Saying that out loud sounds a whole lot worse than in my head." Aodh observed.

Aodh snapped his fingers, beckoning the droid over, hoping he might get some deluxe alcohol, or anything else that could deal with the number of addictions and vices he had picked up over the years.

While the droid brought their drinks Sera turned to Aodh and leaned on her hand, propped up by her elbow against the bar. "Fear not, there are far grander ships out there in the galaxy than this, but it does make travel much less boring and monotonous." Tapping her fingers lightly on the bar, moreso out of habit than anything she diverted the conversation for a moment. "All that gear you have, you won't need it much on Phindar. There will be quite a lot of training, and sadly we won't have the resources that the Jedi on Ossus have to provide you, so I am afraid you are stuck learning what I can solely teach you." She smiled, trying to make it sound not so bad. "As for that fire thrower gizmo you've got there? We'll build you a lightsaber to replace that when you're ready. You won't be needing that forever."

She raised her glass in a toast as the droid delivered their orders. "To a new life."

[member="Aodh Razmath"]

Aodh shook his head, as he held on to his makeshift equipment. "Thanks, but I'll hold on to the equipment...Uh, it brings back some memories, so I'm not keen on ditchin' 'em. But, seems like you know a large 'mount of stuff a lot of others don't know 'bout, so I'm comfortable with learnin' wit' ya'." He eagerly stated. The crook was excited for a chance to be doing real good in the galaxy, causing actual change rather than his attacks on Imperial outposts.

He raised his glass of whiskey, and clinked it against hers.

"To a new life."
