Gilamar Skirata

The most important step is always the next one
Keldabe: Outside of MandalMotors Hall
Taungsday: Mid-Day

Gilimar was not one for public appearances. In fact, most of his time was spent doing something with his long lost daughter, making up for lost time as they say. But as of late he was starting to become more open with his feelings on certain matters. Matters that he usually left up to the clans to decide, though as clan head of Skirata he often made appearances to the Clan meetings. Maybe it was this buisiness with the Republic, maybe he was just fed up with the Galaxy and how Chaos seemed to permeate throughout. Maybe it was the CIS and the madness that nearly wiped out an entire planet.

Or maybe it was something more primitive. The overbearing protective nature of a father.

His daughter was home now and had gone through things he couldn't even imagine. The fact that these monstrosities had been allowed to do this within the Republic sickened him. Luckily for them there was a force in the Galaxy that demanded his full attention. The Sith. If the Republic was a cancer then the Sith was the plague itself. Nothing but death and destruction awaited those on their path to 'Peace and Order in the Galaxy'. What a load of Bantha Poodoo. Those Sith, all of them were a load of no good, lawless, beasts without honor...Which brought him here today...

Walking from behind a curtain, clad in his Beskar'gam with helmet tucked under his right arm, he stopped at a podium. The holocams floated around from all different angles, lights blinding even in Keldabe's harsh sun. It was mid-day and around them it was business as normal. A small detachment of Ori'ramikade lined beneath him, back to the stage and rifles standing by. The crowd was quiet outside of the few snaps of holocameras. Closing his eyes for a moment and setting his bucket on the right corner of the podium he sighed heavily into the mic.

"People of the Galaxy," he began, his voice tired yet strong, like that of a caring grandfather. "Since the dark days of the Gulag plague our Galaxy, our home has been plagued by chaos. Warped and molded into what we see today. Day by day the Republic loses ground from under its feet at the hands of the Sith, an entity we thought long destroyed through a multi-front attack that split their forces and forfeited their capital planet." A few snaps. "The Sith we see now are but a fraction of what they were, yet the Republic still seems incapable of protecting its citizens, already barley a month into the conflict they have lost their seat of power. I'm sure you have all heard the stories of Coruscant's fall."

Looking to the crowd now instead of the holocams he spoke again. "Vod! These dogs would come to us. The people they slaughtered, the people they bombed, subjugated, diseased, and tortured. They seek our forgiveness and our strength in battle. I say this. I have not forgiven, and I have not forgotten, and I will be damned if I so so much as raised my mug to them!" At this the small crowed roared in agreement, shouting in Mando'a words of excitement and threats of death to the Sith.

"But they do not seem to understand the sins of their forefathers. They seem to think themselves...different. Well I say Sith is Sith is Sith and no Sith shall have the privilege to step foot in our home! Today I declare any Sith found within our borders will be met with lethal force, no questions asked." He looked directly into the cameras now, his eyes showing his resolve. "The Sith will terrorize this Galaxy no more."
What this Means:
The following policy has been put into place
for the entire faction of the Mandalorians.
Effective Immediately.

Please read carefully!

By Unanimous Decision from the Faction Admins

From now on, any character that is aligned with the One Sith (or any future Sith only faction) is not to be treated as an ally, aide, or ambassador to the Mandalorians.

This policy is without exception and will be followed by all Mandalorians within the faction.

Any member of a Sith faction that attempts to aide, ally, or be ambassador to the Mandalorians will be met with lethal force. You will not be spared because of previous history, this is your one -and- only warning.

F.A.Q.

  • Question: I am part of a Sith Faction right now, but I want to be a part of the Mandalorians. Can I do this?
  • Answer: The only way this can be done is for the character to leave the Sith faction membership, cut all ties to that Sith faction and pledge loyalty to the Mando'ade. (To cite an example D-man has done this, and he is vod)
  • Question: If I have proven my loyalty in the past, will I still be met with lethal force?
  • Answer: As a culture of honor, those who have stood by our side but refuse to leave the Sith faction may leave Mandalorian space at once, and live your life without fear of being hunted down. If however you return to try and aide the Mandalorians and still wish to keep your ties to the Sith, lethal force will be used.
  • Question: What if my Mandalorian character is Force Sensitive and wishes to learn the dark side of the Force?
  • Answer: There are plenty of other factions that can teach Dark Jedi traits and skills, and you may go to them freely. If however, you go to a Sith faction for that training, you will be seen as Dar'Manda and met with lethal force.
  • Question: Does this only apply to Dominions, and Invasions?
  • Answer: No. This applies to Dominions, Invasions, Skirmishes, Campaigns, and Faction threads. If there is a public or private thread that you wish to join, please make note that if it is within Mandalorian space, you are putting your character in danger of lethal force.
  • Question: If my character is currently involved with an ongoing thread in this capacity, what should I do?
  • Answer: Finish your part in the thread as quickly as possible, and depart. We as writers understand the timeline and will not punish your character for something that was permitted before this rule was in place.
  • Question: What if you are a Sith, but not in the Sith Faction?
  • Answer: Anyone not a member of the Sith Faction is exempt from this rule, but I would tread lightly.
  • Question: If I have my character account listed in the Sith membership only to post in their faction forums, is that an issue?
  • Answer: As long as you are simply using it for OOC means because it is not a public forum, then there is no issue there. We however will not be fooled if we see you in their IC threads, allying with them.

If you have further questions regarding this policy,

please respectfully ask them in replies to this thread.

Thank you.

Jek sat beside the camera droid in his excellent blue suit and perfect mustache as the Mand'alor gave his statement. Lost in thought he could have sworn the old man had said something but whatever it was he decided to go ahead with his pre planned questions.

"Mand'alor!" he said raising his hand and waving it back and forth, "The people would like to know, how do you use the potty while wearing all of that armor."

Jek held his datapad and stylus in his lap as he looked at the man in complete seriousness. This was the kind of hard hitting questions that made him the Man, the myth, the legend he was today. Jek Floggerty was on his 'A' game.

A reporter with GNN stands infront of [member="Jek Floggerty"] and shouts. "Manda'lor! Does this mean you're going to start killing Nightsisters!?" she looks down at her datapad. "Or any Dathomiri for that matter?"

Jek replayed the speech in his ear and was prompted by his assistant that the topic was about the Sith and not the Mangolorians fashion. Then as the silly GNN reporter in front of him spoke up he couldn't help but open his big mouth again.

"Nightsister doesn't even sound like Sith. Honestly, it doesn't take a genius like me to catch that." Jek said into his comlink, "Just one more reason why women should stick to the weather reports."

The GNN reported rolled her eyes, turned and threw her cold water at [member="Jek Floggerty"]. "Today's forecast, cold and wet."

Finding herself already in need of a break with all her paper work when got word that the Mandalore had an important announcement to make. Making it known to her workers that she would be going to this personal. It didn't take long to clear her appointments for the next day. Letting herself flow around to the front of her own office building. As she got in her speeder personal and took off as she let the wind be felt in her own hair. Giving away to a chuckle if only her parents could see her now they would be having a fit that she was driving herself when others should be doing ti for her will at less her mother.

Pulling up a few blocks from MandalMotors Hall couldn't help but thinking she did need to stretch her own legs. As she got as close as she could it seem that there was a good size crowd that had already formed. Getting there just in time to here the what [member="Gilamar Skirata"]. This brought a curve to her lips and then taking her hands together. Clapping wildly as with others in the crowd, "OYE LONG LIVE MANDALORE SKIRATE,", this was music to her ears then much more. As must didn't know of her family deep hate for the sith with what they did to her family almost wiping them out. Only after 1000's of years and a lot of word had the House of Teramo became a Greater House once again on Sernno.

Jek sat still as the water covered him. It was indeed cold and wet, but Jek was a little buzzed and he owned a closet of suits so it did little to slow him down. He held his comlink to his lips and whispered.

"Note to self women also too emotionally charged to handle field reporting." he looked at the woman and smiled before turning to the Sadie and whispering some more, "Rememebr to bring that up at the next meeting."

He turned back to the woman and finally spoke for everyone to hear.

"I would have given you my attention if you had just asked. No need for the dramatics to impress me."

Again, another eyeroll before she turnd back to [member="Gilamar Skirata"] waiting for an answer. Typical [member="Jek Floggerty"] antics of trying to steal the spotlight from real reporting and news. How did this guy manage to stay employed!?

Behind the reporters and the flashing cameras and holotape recordings, sat a Mandalorian. One of the more violent and savage ones, in fact.

And he was smiling, and then used his intimidating presence to make his way where [member="Alyesa Praxon"] was. He leaned down into her ear, his helmet in his hands. He ignored the admittedly hilarious antics of [member="Jek Floggerty"].

"He said Sith, didn't he lady?"

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Circe watched the newscast with modest interest , switching between watching it and working on her personal memoirs. She smiled as Gilamar went full-scale anti-Sith, a strange sense to take considering that Sith and Mandos had historically been close. Turning it off, she smirked.

"Haters gonna hate."

The Princess of Velmor would seemingly be watching the live programing at her palace. There, in the depths of her study, she would quietly take in the message of the Mandalor in regards to Sith.

Whatever manner of thoughts that would go sweeping behind her listless gaze would be forever a mystery. But it was a most interesting pull of a trigger.

The dominos would fall wherever they lay, but this would certainly stir a series of events for the Mandalorians.

It was almost as if fate lay in the depths of her eyes as Gilamar Skirata completed his speech.

What a low life fool.” the throaty purr of the Countess of Bathory would echo within the vast atrium of this particular Serenno House of nobility.

Cyrena sat in a luxurious chair, with Nox and Cerberus seated at her feet, their sharp pointed tails flicking in contentment as the lady would lightly stroke the Vornskr’s head. They were her babies, a pureblooded breed of Vornskr’s she’d personally bred for the better part of almost a millennia. Untarnished bloodlines. Pure. The perfect predators for her hunts.

Crimson lips would go curling over pearly white teeth, those tri-colored grey eyes boring into the live feed of the Holo-net. Her nose would upturn in distaste.

Mandalorians. Utter distasteful beasts. Not a single vein of untainted blood amidst their lot.

None would know the true ties to the Bloody Lady Of Cachtise. She would appear to all as inept to the Force through a combination of false aura and Force concealment. Cyrena had been, after all, the Sith Empress neigh nine hundred years ago. Her noble lines ran strong, as did the name Bathory for the Counts of Serenno. She was the one to personally see the exile and bounty against the Count Morcus himself.

How far the noble lines have fallen. Wretched little peasants. Perhaps it was time to make a stand. Yes…turn the cogs.

Perhaps the One Sith would have more to offer to ensure the renewed sovereignty of the free houses of Serreno.

Darth Banshee was on Mandalore when she heard the news, it shocked her. She given them the best part of year, helping them where ever she could. She wanted to at least, try and find common ground. She new they respected strength, so she helped them conqueror plant`s bastion, ord mantall, bimmiel, ord radama,

She new some thing was wrong after teta, when [member="Aedan Miles"] was their. She also new after this decree, she had to run for life. She had no way of the planet, and she new it would not belong before they came looking for her. She used the force clock herself, and moved onto streets. She figured in the open air, she be less vulnerable to force breaker grenades. Still she had to find way to survive, and to get off this rock......
