For nearly five millennia, the Covenant have fought. An ideal that was started by a single man: To seek out threats to galactic civilization, and end them. Formed in the wake of the Zakuul War, the Octarchy stood firm in their conviction to seek peace in every conflict. Since their inception, the Octarchy have been involved in every major conflict in whole or in part. For years, it operated as a secret society, never publicly revealing its intentions, origins, or membership. But now, on the precipice of another galactic war, the Octarchy rises once again. Will you join The Eight?
The Octarchy was formed millennia ago by Voph in the wake of the Zakuul War. While it has persisted in some shape or fashion after his banishment to the Netherworld, the Octarchy never operated as a distinct presence without Voph at the helm. The Council of Eight is led by Voph, and it is by his invitation that one may sit upon this council. Of course, if you think yourself worthy, you may approach him first...
So what say you? Will you join the Covenant? Or will you hope and pray that the fates are kinder to your way of life than those that came before you? The choice is yours.
Who are The Octarchy?
The Octarchy are a gathering of Eight individuals, who have sworn to utilizing their skills and resources for the betterment of the galaxy. Be it soldiers, ships, or simply monetary and cultural influence, the Eight defend civilization from any and all threats, regardless of nation, race, or creed. To be a member of The Eight is to be someone who would seek to preserve civilization from any who would seek to end it on a catastrophic scale. Either alone, or with the might of all Eight, members of the Covenant are welcome to employ their resources how they see fit, or should the worst come to pass, work as a team to defeat the threat.

Will this become a Major Faction?
The Octarchy Covenant does not intend to become a major faction, as they work within and alongside of existing galactic superpowers to achieve their goals. They have no interest in controlling territory, nor do they care to inflict themselves upon galactic politics. Their work is best performed unhindered by such trivial things. As such, the Octarchy Covenant are not beholden to any single faction, and accept members from all walks of life, regardless of which Major Faction they may hail from.
