Wild Space Rebellion Fleet, The Dawn of Hope

Zoro Laha V, Stationed above Scariff
Zoro had been told by Master Si that he'd be meeting with a new general. Someone the cathar jedi tried, but Zoro knew better than to simply trust anyone outright, no matter who they were recommended by.

The Burning Light had prepped a small attack fleet to go do a mission on the far side of the galaxy. What would be an insurmountable task for a small rebel force, the Resistance knew better. They had built ships designed to do leaps, and pilots that were recruited from professional hauler companies.

Now, they were resistance fighters.

But it came with one problem. Planning a course back to safety, without the imps tracking them.

Zoro sat at the conference table, waiting for the new arrival. The felinoid flicked a claw at the hologram in front of him, a battle display drawing several lines on it.

Garrion Der Rædwulf

Guest
Garrion had spent the prior few days planning the course diligently. He'd accessed the data logs, decyphered the cyphers on-top of cyphers, and determined what went where. Jonyna seemed determined to throw more tests at him with every opportunity, though, he understood why.

Trust had to be built. He still needed to prove himself.

So, he'd ensure this would prove his ability to both work with intelligence, and handle compositions of the scale asked of him. Or at least, the size he assumed them to be.

A strike into Caragach space would require a capable stealth force. A direct offensive, even with the element of surprise would either prove suicidal or a waste of resources. He'd learned that the moons of the world housed the primary forces of the planetary navy, though there were also facilities on world as well. Vulgwinur proved to house the most out of the three, with auxiliary forces stationed on Malkin & Faisad. These would likely be primary targets, as a means of crippling the enemy navy.

With that information, Garrion deduced that several stealth fighters would be present. He made an estimated amount, based on how many he believed would be necessary to combat the Palmerian-class heavy cruisers. With said rough estimate, he'd broken down the fleet into chunks, deliberately placing the most important vessels sporadically, so that if his route failed, the Imperials would be incapable of eliminating the bulk of the fleet's most important vessels, though at the cost of potentially sacrificing one or two ships of moderate importance. A calculated risk.

The route had several jumps, and even an instance of partial backtracking.

With the position of Caragach, it had the unfortunate reality of being near a particularly difficult area to navigate, with Hyperlane travel being placed through a slight 'chokehold', Garrion needed to be careful not to accidentally box the fleet in with nowhere to go. Thus, he had each 'unit' Garrion had broken down was given a different initial point to move towards, followed by a second, before the two broken down halves would have two rendezvous points for their respective thirds, never fully uniting until the fleet had made it past the expansion region.

It wasn't perfect, and he was well aware. Though he felt it was equally coordinated and yet seemingly arbitrary enough to throw off most pursuers, not risking total unification until the fleet was well within friendly space, and even so would only gradually trickle away towards the goal if that weren't enough, as Garrion planned to let the fleet dock above Skynara. If pursuers showed themselves, they'd mistakenly believe the planet was the true source of rebel manpower, while assets which'd already made the transfer would be secure.

While tedious, it would at the very least succeed in keeping them hidden.

Finally, he entered the room, fiddling with the datapad on which he'd organized the route to its full extent. Approaching Zoro, he internally questioned if everyone in this rebellion happened to be a felinoid, before placing the tablet down Infront of him.

"This is your route. It begins with..." He proceeded to repeat the course, giving him ample time to look over the details as he explained it in rather vivid detail.

"Have you any concerns?"

Zoro was impressed. Not that he'd admit it, but he was.

When the Denik jedi had told him that they had brought on a new general, Zoro was rightfully skeptical. Generals don't just pop out of thin air, they earn their keep. This one however, seemed to have.

"We'll need to plot through several asteroid fields to lose any imps tailing us after the attack. I see you plotted us through Exegol and Csilla. You think we can lose them there? I know several of our pilots avoid those areas for good reason. It's a mess out there."
