An Amicable Visit

[member="Alize Rosenheim"]

Young Rosenheim already knew and perhaps dreaded the answer, but Siobhan gave it anyway. "Needle in a haystack, dear. I can make some enquiries and see what I dig up, but no promises." Probably not the response Alize wanted, but it was an honest.

To a degree, Siobhan was a bit concerned that Alize's understandably idealised view of her mother might drive her to rash action in an attempt to live up to her example. Siobhan's drive to live up to Adril had resulted in the same. It was something to watch.

"Well, I believe we've spent enough time training for now. I don't know about you, but I'm hungry. Would you like to join me for dinner? We can talk more there." Not the most elegant shift in topic, but she'd been playing psychologist for a while now!

"I thought so," Alize forced a smile. She guessed as much but it was still upsetting to hear.

"Dinner sounds good," the Epicanthix hybrid maintained her smile as she spoke. The emotional outbursts and her training in wielding the Force had made her hungry and a little tired too.

I’m sorry for being so troublesome,” Alize apologised – she had to be strong now. She was no longer a caged bird who did as she was told and was now responsible for her own decisions and her own fate. No matter what path she took, it would be her own.

"Don't apologise." The rebuke was sterner than Siobhan had intended. "You've recognised your flaws. Now you'll work on them. If I thought you were too troublesome, I wouldn't have taken you under my wing." Very blunt, but she was a direct woman by nature. A vague disclaimer was nobody's best friend.

Presumably they changed, then Siobhan she took Alize's hand, sliding her fingers into the younger woman's. Then she led her out of the training room and back upstairs. It was a bit of a walk, but soon they'd left the gymnasium behind them. Outside the villa, the sun had set, but the weather was still pleasant outside.

"Let's eat outside on the balcony," the Countess opined. "I spend many evenings there with Tegs." A lazy telekinetic gesture opened the balcony door and through the same motion Siobhan pulled up a chair for Alize. Many Jedi would probably argue that such casual use of the Force was highly frivolous and unnecessary, but the Lady was more than a little vain.

The chairs had comfortable cushions and Siobhan sat down on one, crossing her legs. A light breeze blew against her face, ruffling her scarlet mane and kissing her skin. She kicked off her slippers, wiggling her toes a bit and enjoying the brush of air against her bare feet. Her toenails were coloured a cute, girly pink. From the balcony, they had a lovely view of the mountain tops. "We can chat some more, if you like. Is there anything you'd like to ask me? About myself?" she gave her charge an encouraging smile.
