Created by Yves Galen as a protective charm for his daughter and apprentice, he presented Sabine with the amulet upon reaching Knighthood. The design is very simple, yet he hopes it will be effective – especially to help protect Sabine’s mind against dark sided attacks. Given that he taught her the ability to cleanse her mind, this charm would increase her ability to do so, aiding her connection to the force and slightly dampening the effects of artifacts or mental attacks. The amulet features a focus crystal and a design made from silver, the amulet itself has a very subtle glow when seen in the dark, as Yves imbued the materials himself with the light side of the force.
Despite the force imbuement, the amulet is fairly delicate. Yves has warned Sabine to keep it safe, as it could easily be broken during battle. And though this charm will give her an edge against the dark side, it doesn’t provide any other force skills, it relies heavily on the users own ability. When not in use, the amulet provides Sabine with a feeling of comfort and warmth, a strong connection to the light side, but drawing from the amulet for extended periods can be draining.
