The suit is made from a heavily modified Ooglith Masquer biot that covers the entire body of the wearer. The biot was designed to connect to a specific person: Amnesia. When connected to her, anything she can transform into, the biot can match, allowing her to wear the suit while transforming into all variety of creatures/people without a loss of function.
The outside of the biot is covered in nematocytes that contain concentrated senflax, and extra long needles. While able to pierce light clothing, the nematocytes cannot pierce into heavy clothing or armor. The biot is incredible at filtering out radiation, biological pathogens, and most forms of chemical weaponry and is resistant to acid attacks. However, it is not a primary battle suit and was not designed to tank blaster bolts, lightsabers, or slug throwers. Finally, the suit has a biological rebreather built in, that filters oxygen for the user to keep breathing it, in times of need.
The suit causes intense pain when it it put on and taken off, due to the fact that it enters into the changlings body through the pores, to better connect and stay on the wearer, as well as to feel the nerve connections, to take hints into what shape it should change into. However, this connection into Amnesia's nervous systems means that when the suit is harmed, she feels the pain too.
