Amidst the Wilds

Shili
Wild Lands
The wind rushing through the trees, howling as it wove its invisible tough around and over rough bark with furious anger while gently caressing the delicate emerald leaves that hung from equally delicate branches, rustling wildly as the ground against the harsh texture of the very branches that kept them away from the unmerciful grasp of the wind. The snuffling of a large animal as it tread through the dense bush, fallen and dead twigs snapping loudly beneath it weight while the accompanying crack and rustling of the shrubbery that was in the process of being destroyed by the creature bulk joined the chorus. The twittering and whistling of some avian animals, small in stature, as the shouted across the expanse of nature that separated them, communicating in a language only they and their fellows could know. But above the background noises was the deafening in its purity, was the quiet peacefulness of nature. Oxymoronic in nature, the deafening silence roared loudly, overshadowing everything else.

The scant few leaves that lost their battle with the wind and flew directly at the figure that sat dead center of a clearing surrounded by high reaching trees, uncaring of the twigs that would surely be beneath her. The lone bird, covered by stark yellow feathers that shone on the veined sunlight that fought to seep through the gaps in the leaves as it began to breech the horizon to signal the start of a new day, that dove towards the head of the figure, only to fly pass the figure as they tilted their head to the left minutely, just enough for the bird to pass without any contact coming between the two living beings.

Everything and anything assaulted the senses of Ryiah Tenriem as she sat, crosslegged in the middle of the clearing, percieving to the world around her through both her hearing and the echolocation granted by her tall standing Montrals - each one of the two equalling the size of her head, the world that she was currently deprived on seeing with her own eyes by the blindfold carefully wrapped around her head and four Lekku.

Clad only in her normal outfit of a single strip of cloth which served to covered her breasts while also being decorated with the teeth taken from the beasts that Ryiah had conquered in her hunts, a loin cloth and a belt formed entirely from beads of lapis lazu, painstakingly shaped, strung together with tags of bronzium hanging from each bead the majority of Ryiah's body was exposed to the warm air, in lines with her beliefs. Ryiah believed not in a single deity, or a pantheon of deities, she instead believed that each planet that supported flora and fauna, that supported nature, held within its core a singular and unique deity that governed life on the planet; Nature given intangible form. By exposing her skin to the world at large, Ryiah believed that she opened herself up more to those deities.

Shifting slightly and suddenly, Ryiah's wrapped one hand around the shaft of her glaive, lovingly gleaming in the sun from the fresh coat of wax, while her other hand came to rest on the ground beneath her body. The result of this was that, while Ryiah remained seated, her body was slumped forwards slightly. Titling her head to one side, covered eyes staring blindly at a specific spot amongst the floiage around her, Ryiah spoke softly, her accented voice dipping and raising uniquely and exotically when compared to the majority of accents within the galaxy.

"Show yourself."

The ancient energy vampire had been rather impressed as of late, with all of the things going on in the galaxy it wasn't often she found something amusing let alone several somethings tapping her finger on the seat. One of the being was there while she slowly worked at it and started to feed scenting the wind from the camp. They were here and where there was life it attracted the energy vampire. All of those emotions they gave and she was able to feast upon them. She was waiting there until a scent caught her attention and made her head perk up with rapt attention. "How interesting." The small slivers of blood were on her chin as she rose up and moved quickly with supernatural speed most didn't see with the force. Natural ability augmented before she came into the small area looking at the togruta with her eyes watching her. She scented the air shaping the air to pull the scent to her while she stood without drawing her blade. "Pretty little thing aren't you, I could almost smell some special power on you."

Even as the silence settled between the two beings that now populated the clearing, the last whispers of the new female's voice being stolen away by the wind that had surged forwards, stronger than before, Ryiah did not speak, did not make any move to reply to the anomaly that had been presented before her, her presence a unusual when compared to the gentle aura that enveloped the surrounding land. No other sentient being lived within miles in any direction, a contributing factor that had lead to Ryiah choosing to settle at that location to spend her time communing with Nature, and yet, now stood before her blinded eyes, was a sentient being that corrupted the very spirit of Nature and the intertwined Force around her with Darkness as the miasma of death seeped from the person's being. 'No, not death.' The thought rang through Ryiah's mind as she peered closer at the core of the being that intruded upon her quiet through ethereal eyes, seeing beyond sight. 'A lack of life. A consuming and devouring of life. Not death itself but anti-life. How fascinating.'

Fully aware of the prolonged silence that was now stretching between the two but feeling no awkwardness from it, Ryiah's body stiffened in hesitation as she considered her next move before her muscles relaxed and unwound one by one as she pushed herself to her feet, the loincloth that she wore falling down to brush against her ankles as she straightened up to her full height. Following the movement of the loincloth, the two Lekku that grew from the back of her head also succumbed to gravity, the very ends of the leather wrapped head tails reaching down to mid thigh. The butt of the glaive was planted in the soft soil beneath Ryiah's bared and naked feet, the long metal blade shining menacingly as it caught the sun from where it rested against the side of Ryiah's face.

Reaching up with her left hand, dexterous fingers swiftly unraveled the knot at the back of the blind fold, letting the strip of fabric be carried by the wind, fluttering and folding in on itself as it fell to the ground, revealing the burning crimson eyes of Ryiah, permanent remnants of her time as a one practitioner and student of the Dark and the corruption she had faced form indulging in the Dark as she did. Those very same eyes were fixated upon and flickered across the figure of the female, taking in the appearance of the one that had intruded upon her meditation, her time within which she sought to quench the embers of madness that continued to smolder within her mind.

The woman was neither tall nor short, settling somewhere close to average in height and standing barely a few inches smaller than Ryiah did herself. She was slim and lithe, most likely possessing a body more suited for speed and flexibility that pure power and strength. Her hair was pitch black, shining softly in the faint light cast by the sun, and looked to be pulled back tightly; whether or not her hair was pulled into a ponytail or not was unclear to Ryiah as she could not see clearly enough from where she stood. Finally, a pair of pale blue, silvery eyes were fixed upon Ryiah's own form, returning the inquiring examination and catching Ryiah's attention from the sheer other-worldly look that they held.

Finally, Ryiah spoke, affixing her eyes to those of the unknown woman. "I assure you, I have no issues with some having a need, a ... preference - so to say, to like the smell of another." A lazy, seductive smirk pulled at Ryiah's lips, matching the tone that had merged with her accent, as she softly spoke, her quiet voice easily heard over the silence that had reigned between the two females. "But if we have become so intimate that you feel that ... need, and comment on it so brazenly, would it not be courteous to provide me a name? Or at least a meal?"

Despite the obviously honeyed words, the knuckles on Ryiah's right hand were a shade lighter than the rest of her skin from where her fingers were now clasped slightly too tightly around the shaft of the glaive, ready to move at the first signs of an attack or threat.

Oh this one was cute, watching her body language was beautiful and for a species that processed and moved faster then most it was almost agonizingly slow watching her rise up as gravity set in. Loincloth and lekku falling towards the ground as she tracked it with her silvery blue eyes remaining unblinking. Her weapon and the sound of her heart beating. The delicious scent of life all over and underneath it there was emotion and the force that made her mouth salivate before she spoke. "I am Sawa and hmmm." She didn't need to move letting the air shape and mixing with it with fire to give her gaze a heat. Let it seem like her eyes could do far more otherworldly things when she was using the elements and some misdirection.

"I could go for a bite, I've always found Togruta so full of life." She remained there unblinking and unmoving, aside from the small movements of her mouth to speak and the flicking of her eyes over the body. Even her breathing was shallow, constricted from looks in the bodysuit she was wearing as her chest didn't move up and down but stayed still. Like she was a statue or something that could disappear if you blinked. She smelled the air again shifting the air to bring her scent over to her move hearing the small tightening of flesh while she was gripping her weapon. "Oh sweetie you will not need that, there is so many more things we can do instead of fighting." Her mouth opened a little as the small snap of fangs while they came over her incisors with the earth shifting to protrude from the ground.

Ryiah did not relax at the leather clad woman's words, even as her grip on her glaive loosened to the point it slipped between slackened fingers to land with a thud on the grass and dirt bellow. Even if she did not wield the weapon physically any longer, that dd not mean that it was no longer a threat to the woman that had intruded upon her silence and peace. While Ryiah had been with the Sith, apprenticing under Darth Ferus and receiving tuition to the man that had recruited her into the world of Sith, a man she only knew as Jenorkeyn (which, as she had learnt towards the end of her involvement with the Sith, she now knew to mean 'Teacher'), Ryiah had not been taught much at her own request, instead her lessons had been on refining her control of telekinesis, making it so that, if she so wish, Ryiah had no need to touch her target nor a weapon to snuff out their life. In the current situation, Ryiah could drive the glaive towards the woman or smash her head with a rock without having to move a muscle. Ryiah could even strangle her, although, judging by the lack of movement of her chest (knowledge gained from a glance disguised as a leer in response to the woman's final lines of speech), Ryiah doubted that doing so would have much effect.

Shifting in place slightly, arms sliding behind her back and one leg moving in front of the other, the new pose helping to display Ryiah's body in a more seductive manner, Ryiah smirked a smirk with slightly parted lips at the woman, named Sawa apparently, exposing her own pointed teeth even as Sawa's gaze literally heated skin, unlike the more figurative meaning when the phrase was used. As Ryiah's heart beat a strong pattern in her chest, the earth beneath her feet would ripple in time, a response to the changes in nature that Ryiah was feeling and seeing. The brush of air rushing towards Sawa that was abnormal as the breeze was flowing in the opposing directing. The slight rising of earth around Sawa's feet. That is what she challenged with her own display of manipulation of the ground.

It was only a few weeks previously, that Ryiah had discovered her ability to shape the very ground beneath her feet and, since then, she had devoted hours after hours of the days that had whittled away since that moment of revelation training herself in the new found ability, pushing herself to try and find her limits. While she no longer required movement to manipulate the earth, she found that by moving it helped to focus her technique and was currently working on incorporating it into her fighting style.

Stalking towards Sawa, her body language as relaxed as she could make it while remaining ready to move at a moment's notice, Ryiah seductively smirked at the leather clad woman. "I'm sure that we could have some fun, you and I." Slowly, Ryiah licked at her lips, using the movement to enfroce the badly veiled innuendo in her words. As she stopped, barely a couple of meters in front of Sawa, her expressed softened out of it seductive smirk to turn slightly more serious. "Surely you did not seek me out for that fun though. Not little old me. So, why are you here?"

Every step Ryiah had taken had purposely been made to make her hips sway enticingly while the Lekku that hung across her breasts and the two down her back, moved in tandem, now her expression once more changed to match the seductiveness that he walk had held. "Ryiah" Her 'i' was rolled and long lasting, just as her 'y' was also; her accent playing its part on how she spoke her own name. "Just so you know the name of the woman that could make you scream." The words, coupled with the smile, were chosen to make sexual thoughts be attached to the sentence, but the coldness within her crimson eyes, a coldness that shone through, spoke of the more violent thoughts that Ryiah had thoughts of when speaking.

She was watching her move, seductively towards the energy vampire while the ground trembled with each sway of her hips. Sawa keeping her eyes on the woman until she got closer and said her name.. along with a nice direct but still vague innuendo. It gave her some ideas as she stood there still until some of the attention was on the pulse of her blood and that pounding of her heart. Her finger twitched just a little against the leather of her thigh while she let it sound among everything else. her senses trained and focused to hear it. Tap tap tap as it she mirroring the sound,, shifting it to the sound of the togruta's heart pounding in her chest to relay several things while she let her gaze linger. She wanted to show if she was watching the heightened senses to get a better reaction from her, the other was the sound while she was gauging her skill with the earth shaping but not showing more beyond it. Then there was more, the smell of many thing mingling but also that hint of the darkside as the evil and ancient being was many things but also to apathetic to use the powers beyond the basics... Still she had proven far better at it over the course of several thousand years. "Hmm so young and ample and there is the scent of a shaper on you but..." She let her voice trail off and moved suddenly with a quickness slicing through the air to move and be behind. "I don't think in five thousand years I have met someone so forward."
