Historical Information
Amalia's history before the rise of the Elysium Empire is obscured. She rarely speaks of it, and the only people who have the knowledge or experience to know are sworn to secrecy. What is known is that Amalia maintained strong ties with her cousin, Heath Valhoun. The Cathown family are close cousins to the Valhoun, and when Heath rose to prominence and established the Elysium Empire, the Cathown were quick to tie themselves even closer to their now, royal, cousins.
Since the rise of the Elysium Empire, Amalia has spent much of her time outside its borders. With command of her own vessel, she took it upon herself to explore the galaxy. Partially to further the knowledge of the Empire, but more importantly, to explore like she had never been able to before. The Cathown family had been poor, and their sudden elevation due to ties with Valhoun allowed Amalia to follow her dreams.
Now, Amalia has made her return to the Empire, her mind set on a simple goal. Further her own position.
