Intent: To Create a Subdermal implant for better fighting and healing
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Arkuhn Medical
Model: Arkuhn Medical Subdermal Bacta Adrenal Implant
Affiliation: Open-Market
Modularity: No
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Gold, Bacta, Synthetic Adrenals, Plasteel
Description:
The idea of subdermal cybernetics is neither new, nor really ground breaking. For eons now scientists have been developing and creating different technologies that allow for people to be "greater" then what they once were. These things range from new muscular implants to enhancing certain other physical aspects of ones body. The technology that has not been worked on is the subsistence of ones own body, that is the original organic features.

Though humans, and most organics are quite naturally durable it is a fact that during combat and life in general accidents tend to happen.

Usually this can be countered after the fact, a doctor or medical droid comes to the injured and begins to fix the problem, often times however, especially in remote areas, the injured fades too quickly for medical response to properly treat them. This is of course a natural thing, and since treatment is difficult to administer without actually being there the scientists of Arkuhn Medical have begun to develop technology that can effectively begin treatment of an injured person before proper medical professionals can reach them.

This technology relied heavily upon the use of Bacta, as well as several synthesized adrenals that occur naturally in most organics. In essence, this implant is a small subsystem of cybernetics that can easily be inserted beneath a persons skin with a simple surgery. Once beneath the skin the implant monitors heart rate, blood flow, and a number of other smaller factors to determine a persons health and general well being. When multiple of these faculties are compromised and the person becomes injured, the implant released it's cocktail of bacta and Adrenals.

This cocktail immediately sets to work within the persons body, and much like other bacta treatments begins to 'heal' the injured party.

This healing is of course, not perfect, it will not stop a massive gash all on it's own nor will it suddenly fix a broken bone. However, it will aid in the sealing of smaller wounds and stem blood flow when ordinarily it would kill. More importantly the Adrenals contained within the serum allow for continued operation and movement after injury, allowing someone to get to safety when ordinarily they would pass out or go into shock. This obviously helps when someone is injured, allowing them another push and burst of energy to get away from what is threatening, or to survive the accidental injury that they sustained.

Nicely done! There is something that I would like to know about this cocktail of bacta and adrenals that is injected through the person's system when their 'stats' are compromised. Is it a one shot dose or rechargeable in some way ? Basically what happens with this implant when it uses its dose of bacta and adrenals to do its magic ?
