Strengths:

• Hyperdrive. Very slow hyperdrive, it's more meant for emergency situations. If it wants to get where it needs to go, it needs a dedicated carrier. If that gets destroyed? The Alyx is practically a sitting duck.

Description: Once it was determined that Didact's capabilities in space were severely lacking and that it actually influenced ground-based operations, because of a lack of air support Didact Defense Solutions went all in to remedy this situation. They began designing a fledgling navy from the ground-up and ensured that every piece of it supported or enhanced the tactics of DDS in the field. The Keeno-class Interceptor was the first step and the Alyx-class Elite Starfighter is the next.

Whereas the Keeno is focused primarily on fast-paced, maneuverable combat, the Alyx is effective in situations where speed and maneuverability are less important.

Heavy shields, heavy armament ensure that this starfighter can take a punch and then throw it right back no worse for the wear. Assisting it are advanced sensory and targeting equipment to make sure every shot it takes is right on the money.

While the Keeno slowly whittles the enemy away, the Alyx takes advantage of their distraction to blow them away completely.
