Description: Dating all the way back to the early years of the Alura Traveling Circus mass-nulling clips have been used by acrobats for assistance in dangerous stunts. The original mass-nulling clip was a type of portable transport device (4 inches in length and 2 in width) primarily used by scouts, that created a field of low gravity around the item it touched lowering the weight of items by a significant amount. The technology was developed during the early years of the new republic and allowed for a week's worth of water to be carried by one individual. Many years after its original prototype ambitioius technician Sayha Ar'i came across the device. He implemented it into his family's circus with the idea of attaching it to the performers belt clips and in theory making them light enough to float. It worked, however not being designed to work in that manner it required heavy modification. The technology was modified to be able to lighten less and sustain more. It can hold an acrobat in the air for a maximum of 6 seconds. After 6 seconds the mass-nulling clip enters a 3 minute cooldown. The device will not sustain any static position, it only lowers the weight enough to float, they will still fall. Just much slower. However the technology is prone to many negatives as Sayha died before he could complete his new design. It is susceptible to stop working at any time. This could be very dangerous. As such the troupe modifies the maximum height of the device. For safety reasons is has been adjusted to 5 meters. Once above this limit the device will enter a cooldown state.
