The 'wings' of the Arc Unit don't provide flight as such, but what they do accomplish is giving this mechanoid the ability to outmaneuver and outclass droids and vehicles in almost all areas of combat from urban to desert to jungle with its hydrolic, bipedal frame. Power is able to be routed to the two shoulder mounted repulsor-lift generators to lighten the droid astronomically, allowing it to jump, brace for impacts and even move on volatile ground at speed. It's said in passing that the Arc is capable of running on water... and while that comparison is not factually correct, its ability to run on ice-flow, sand, dirt and most combat areas with almost maximum effectiveness. It is not hard to fathom how the rumor came to be.
Armaments:
- Composite Maser Cannon
Arcs main weapon stems from its throat, Maser tubes line the interior of its heavily armoured head giving it a powerful Composite Maser cannon which is more than capable of ripping apart even Heavy Armour into nothing and obliterating chitin and biological matter. The Beam's systems run just under what would be its spine where its blaster tubes draw its power from a centralized source. This uses openable slits and a series of small cooling fans along its back as toggleable pressured ventilation. The beam itself is long range and highly destructive dealing both incredible Kinetic and thermal damage. Taking only a second or two to charge and each ray is capable of performing a 3 second long stream before the weapon requires some cool-down (5 seconds of cool-down for each second the laser is fired for), allowing it to be dragged across an area or concentrated in one location like a laser drill more than capable of tearing through heavy vehicles and armoured sithspawn like Coloi.

- 2x 50.Cal Heavy Maser Vulcans.
Two hip mounted Maser cannons with rotating barrels, each of the masers is a three barreled vulcan-like cannon which fires at an exceedingly high rate. Ideal for fighting against many smaller targets as opposed to larger targets the Masers have a small fan area where they are able to spray, but, by and large, their fire is concentrated, straying little more than a meter or two to any direction at max range. These weapons draw from the same ammunition source as the Composite Cannon, and thus, as the Cannon is being primed or being fired, these weapons cannot be used.

- Frame Weaponry
The Arc comes equipped with some fanciful weaponry fitted into its frame, Arc's mouth is a working Jaw with pointed crescent shaped teeth much like that of a dinosaur or a shark. The mechanical tendril of a tail Arc has, is more than able of acting as a weapon in of itself, as it comes to a meter long vibroblade tip. Finally, Arcs legs are foot and a half long talons so that it is able to dig in and grip to surfaces if need be. Each of these weapons are made of a Pyronium / Diatium spliced alloy, reinforced with the same Duraplast which composes the frame. Giving them strength and allowing them to charge with energy routed from Arcs Ion power core or energy colliding with the ultrachrome frame to become exceedingly powerful heated weapons. Each of them more than capable of ripping into even vehicle armour like a can-opener.
- 2x Repulsor 'Wings'
The two long wing like appendages coming from the Arcs shoulders are not weapons, but rather they are movable repulsarlift generators which allow the Arc to move at such high speeds without compromising its structural integrity. Much like the Etheric Rudder of a ship, the Wings provide a similar service as well, directing them allows the Arc to turn and move while running and even jumping. Making them more or less the core component of the Large Droid. Each of the wings to aid in this have a considerable range of motion, from being able to be pinned directly backwards, out to the sides, or any other direction on a 90 degree angle.
- Drone Control Device
Outfitted into the Droid Brain of the Archon is a drone control unit, the same variety which is installed in much of the other Alpha Series units, meaning that the Archon operated on the Alpha Series A.I. as well as can act as a control unit for other Alpha Series constructs which are within the short range length of the DCD's sphere of influence.
- Cooling System
Located along the back of the machine, the pressure vents of the Arc, the diffusing material of the hull and the pyronium claws do most of the heavy lifting when it comes to the heat generated by the main weapon of the Arc. However, to cool the Ion drive and the Arc while moving and being powered, a liquid cooling system is installed to be what takes the brunt of the machines over-heating issues. Controlled by internal thermostats wired into various locations of the machine, the A.I. is capable of routing its cooling system to areas which need it more, enabling it to not be such a drain on its power supply.
- A.I. Brain
The A.I. Brain itself is located in the Arcs' chest plate to a side, like a heart. Unlike the DCD acts as a receiver to long range A.I. Signals much like the droids of the Trade Federation, in this case, plugged directly into the DCD which would normally be controlling it at range, making it more efficient over-all as it can broadcast to itself as well as receive signals from range if needed.
- Advanced Optics/ Targeting
The Optics and Targeting systems are top shelf, capable of thermal optics as well as using the wave frequency of the DCD to act as short wave 3D mapping sonar. Additionally equipped with a high quality range-finder the Archon is precise. Though when using Sonar, fast moving objects of small size can be harder to detect.
- Armour Plating:
The armour plating of the Archon is something particularly special, creating a Duraplast/ ultrachrome alloy and balancing the metals well in certain states, the pressure welded alloy is exceedingly strong, but is vastly catered against thermal, radiation and electrical impacts and other energy weapons, literally absorbing heat and energy which comes into contact with it, dispersing it over its entire surface to protect the machenery underneath, routing it to the pyronium weapons to burn off. The Ultrachromes conductive and diffusive abilities combined with the Duraplasts' high melting point and damage threshold make the metal incredibly resistant and almost immune to small arms fire, though weaker to solid slug weaponry such as shatter-guns and anti material weapons. The Metal can take glancing bolts from tank and fighter class energy weapons and direct hits from light tank cannons and interceptors. Though it is to be noted, that simply because it is weaker to solid slug weaponry, its armour is far from being paper.
- Particle Shield:
A light Stock standard, dual redundant Aethim Particle shield used to protect the Arc from physical impacts. Located in the central mass of the droid.
- Erebus Port:
At the top of the Archon, there is a small 360 degree rotatable platform compatible with an Erebus platform, allowing one to dock so that the Archon is able to be ridden by Orphen should he wish to.
- Micro Ion Drive.
It's no secret that the Archon uses a good chunk of power, and so, what powers it is not a normal power-source, but rather a very small Ion drive located in the archon's chest. The power system were everything on the droid active would be strained, but not completely overwhelmed. However, the Archon can operate for approximately ten hours at combat use before needing to be charged, or a maximum of two days if power is being preserved.
The A.R.C.H.O.N. or All Region Combat, Holding and Observation Node is the epitome of Orphen's skill in robotics made manifest into a single entity. One of a kind, Orphen created it with the same level of devotion and care that some of the greatest alchemists of the Sith order created their most powerful Sith-Spawn. The power of the Mechanoid unit stems from its raw speed and support systems more than its own overwhelming offensive out-put. High Tech systems and materials used from the reserves of Aurora industries, materials from Brokellia as well as support from the royal family of Felecat made the creation of the Archon possible, simply in acquiring the materials, funding and support needed in order to successfully develop this potent weapon. While the powers of Mechu Deru, practice in the various facets of its creation and dedication filled the gaps allies could not.
Its purpose on a battlefield is to replace a slow moving hover-tank or outdated AT-ST with something which has a potent offensive out-put, but none of the vulnerability of something as slow moving, large or stationary. Thus, The Archon is a droid capable of running due to its repulsorlift 'wings' allowing it to move without putting a strain on itself due to its size and weight. More than that, the wings allow the Archon to jump, evade, and even fight in close quarters with some level of efficiency to almost that of a living being.
Orphen's creation of the alloy which composes the Archon is one of his brighter achievements, getting ahold of pyronium and remembering the conductive and diffusing nature of ultrachrome armour.
Coupled with a stock standard, average particle shield as simply the cherry on the proverbial cake.
The Archon's Offensive systems, while not the core of its kit are also not to be scoffed at. The Arcs secondary, three barreled heavy Vulcans are more than capable of shredding most humanoids and speeders within moments, while its main cannon is more than capable of penetrating enemy armour and wounding almost everything in its path. Technically considered an anti-material weapon, the composite maser is a higher calibur and faster firing variant of the one which Orphen has in his gauntlet, achieving the faster rate of fire by running the tubes along cooling vents placed in Arcs back, preventing overheating, thus, lower cool-down time. With each shot, Arc Vents off the excess heat and cools quickly so that the high temperatures do not harm the chassis or the interior systems of itself, not to mention the nature of its placing dispersing energy so well from its surface.
Supporting the Archon's offensive systems, is a small host of custom software and computing to enable the droid to be the be adept in tracking, targeting and being able to compliment and mix well with other Alpha series technology as a control unit rather than a controlled unit.
All in all the A.R.C.H.O.N. is a well rounded machine and among the top of its class with very few drawbacks other than its custom and specific nature would make it way too impractical for any sort of even limited scale deployment.
