Medal of Valor -[/SIZE][SIZE=14.6667px] [/SIZE]Awarded by the Lord or Chief of State on behalf of the Galactic Alliance to a person who, while a member of the Alliance Military, distinguishes himself or herself conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his or her life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in action against an enemy of the Alliance-in-Exile.
The deed performed must have been one of personal bravery or self-sacrifice so conspicuous as to clearly distinguish the individual above his or her comrades and must have involved risk of life. Incontestable proof of the performance of the service will be exacted and each recommendation for the award of this decoration will be considered on the standard of extraordinary merit.
Distinguished Service Ribbon [SIZE=14.6667px]- Awarded to a person who, while serving in any capacity in the Alliance Military, distinguishes his or herself by extraordinary heroism not justifying the award of a Medal of Valor while engaged in an action against an enemy of the Alliance-in-Exile. The act or acts of heroism must have been so notable and have involved risk of life so extraordinary as to set the individual apart from his or her comrades.[/SIZE]
Bronze Ribbon - Awarded to a person who, while serving in any capacity in the Alliance Military exhibits bravery and valor in a military conflict against enemies of the Alliance-in-Exile. The required gallantry, while of a lesser degree than that required for award of the Distinguished Service Cross, must nevertheless have been performed with marked distinction.
Order of the Alliance Seal - A member of Alliance High Command may invest a recipient with membership within The Order of the Alliance Seal at their discretion, as recognition for loyalty beyond the call of duty, and dedication to the ideals of the Alliance.
Alliance Medal of Honor - Awarded to an individual, Diplomatic, Military, or Civilian, who exhibits especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the Alliance-in-Exile in non-combat engagements.
Peacemaker's Crest - Awarded to an individual, Diplomatic, Military, or Civilian, who exhibits especially meritorious contribution to the cause of galactic peace.
Alliance Heart - Awarded to a person who, while serving in any capacity in the Alliance Military, has been injured in action against any enemy of the Alliance-in-Exile during a military engagement. This medal can be awarded posthumously. OOC: You must have been wounded by another PC, not an NPC, to receive this award.
Legion of Merit - Awarded for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Alliance-in-Exile.
Security Commendation - Awarded for aiding in the arrest of enemies of the Alliance-in-Exile. (Arrest/Capture of names on the Most Wanted List)
Soldier's Medal - Awarded to any person who, while serving in any capacity in the Alliance-in-Exile, distinguished him/herself by heroism not involving actual conflict with an enemy. The performance must have involved personal hazard or danger and the voluntary risk of life under conditions not involving conflict with an armed enemy. Awards will not be made solely on the basis of having saved a life.
Joint Service Commendation - Awarded for meritorious service or achievement while assigned to a Joint Service Activity involving more than one branch of the Alliance Military.
POW Citation - Awarded to any person who, while serving in any capacity in the Alliance-in-Military, is taken prisoner by hostile forces. This medal can be awarded posthumously.
Distinguished Defense Service Medal - Awarded to any person who, while serving in any capacity in the Alliance Military, exhibits extraordinary heroism in military actions pertaining to the defense of Alliance-in-Exile planets or territory, from enemies within or without. The act or acts of heroism must have been so notable and have involved risk of life so extraordinary as to set the individual apart from his or her comrades.
Defense Service Commendation - Awarded to any person who, while serving in any capacity in the Alliance Military, exhibits bravery and valor not justifying the award of the Distinguished Defense Service Medal, while defending Alliance-in-Exile territory from enemies within or without.
Service Commendation - Awarded to any person, military or civilian, who have shown bravery and honor in protecting their crewmates, squadmates, civilians, or political heads from danger from any quarter.
Combat Action Ribbon - Awarded to any person in the Alliance Military who has actively participated in a ground, surface, or aerial combat. The principal criterion is that the recipient must have participated in a bona fide combat firefight or in an action during which he was under enemy fire and his performance while under fire was satisfactory.
Combat Veteran Ribbon - Awarded to any person in the Alliance Military who has actively participated five ground, surface, or aerial combats.
Honorable Conduct Commendation - Awarded for exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity in active Alliance Military service. It is awarded on a selective basis to each soldier who distinguishes himself from among his/her fellow soldiers by their exemplary conduct, efficiency, and fidelity throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active duty.
Humanitarian Service Medal - Awarded for participation in Alliance Aid efforts that target civilian needs and support of a humanitarian nature.
Charter Member Medal- Awarded for being part of the GA before October 31 and supporting its vault to Major status.
