Description: Incom's new interceptor design is visually similar to the A-Wing once employed by the Rebel Alliance against the New Order. The light and compact design is lightly shielded, but two powerful ion engines give it exceptional acceleration.

Compared to the old design the A-Wing is a very flat wing with laser cannons integrated into the main hull. Weapons can be fired sequentially or twin-linked.

The interceptors typically hunt in packs, looking for bombers and assault concussion missiles threatening capital ships. Just like a TIE fighter they can assault larger vessels but only in large numbers. A squadron is not going to threaten anything larger than a frigate.

Inside the cockpit it is a relatively spartan vessel. Instruments are unobtrusive and most targeting information is projected onto the canopy. The space is cramped. Pilots of this vessel tend to favour he inertial dampeners kept on low power and to 'feel' the craft as they fly and not to have the computer get in the way.
