All That Is, Was, And Will Be

The wind whistled through the trees as she took each laboured step toward where it had all begun. This lust for balance and moderation, the discovery of another route away from the squabbles of Light and Dark. Where she could be herself, and not at the whims of another.

Hers had been a tough path. She had overcome many obstacles, been dragged down by countless others, yet she had come out the other side. Definitely not the girl she had been when Tirdarius ferried her away from the Empire all those years ago, for better or for worse. Simply different.

She could sense how close she was to reaching her destination. The Temple which had once held much marvel. Which still did. Where the Child of Seren had discovered the writings of her Parent, though she knew not who she was. Where she had discovered the ways of the Je'daii, and all they stood for.

They needed to expand. The Temple on Bakura, dedicated to Akar Kesh, was a marvel, but one Temple did not a Je'daii make. Jyn had no intentions of creating her own, no... She would find that which had been used by her blood, by the one who had set them all on this task.

So she wandered toward the mountains, her emotions entirely in check. The last thing she wanted now was for her blood to be set alight.

Being on the surface of this planet had not been Jules' initial reason for being here. It was actually a happy accident that the hyperspace route he plotted out required him to refuel at the orbital space station on Teth. Once he was there and enjoying what luxuries the station could provide, he felt a tugging at his mind. It was that same heartstring pull that drew him into making the little cross-shaped device slung to his belt. Now he had entered a new phase of his existence. A more profound one. One with even more treasure potential! Curiosity lured him like it would any spacer, and when the Lorsan Tekka was ready for travel he turned its nose toward the ground. Her landing gear met soil, and shortly after did Crux's boots meet that same dirt. The vegetation was much denser than he had anticipated, but it was no matter. He was one person, and he could feel his way around. Ideally, he was close to whatever was stimulating his curiosity. Normally he would be cautious about alerting anyone planet-side, but this was Teth. Nobody else was down here, right?

Tentative steps brought her to the base of a mountain path, the steady incline subtly carved to the point where most would see it as just a natural geographical feature. Jyn knew better. She knew where it would lead.

Upward she strode until her attention was torn by the sound of engines in the distance. She turned, gaze set skyward as she watched a ship drop through the atmosphere toward one of the clearings close to the mountains.

Her lips pursed.

Teth wasn't a planet widely visited; the orbital shipyards were frequently met by travelers, but the world itself held little of intrigue for most. It was just a jungle, overgrown and mountainous. No settlements to speak of.

So who was it that had disturbed the tranquility?

Her skin began to tingle as a heat spread through her. Closing her eyes she inhaled, and tried to snuff out the worries she was experiencing. Whoever it was, they were not here for her.

They couldn't be.

Arthos was dead. He couldn't get to her now.

Exhaling, she began to venture back toward the jungles she had just left behind, her path set on finding the ship or the people who were piloting it.

Whichever came first...

The vegetation around Jules seemed to cluster in just the right way to guide him through a determined path. Every time he deviated he found himself in a tight spot where he had to retrace his footsteps and go another route - the seemingly intended one. As he followed along the jungle path, he found himself nearing the large mountain before him. At the same time, he felt relatively uneasy. Like something was not quite right. When he heard twigs snap like there was someone or something else around, he froze and ducked behind a tree. Whatever it was, he would rather it be seen before him. If it had not seen him already.

[OOC: Sorry, kind of a bad post. I couldn't really get a feel for the moment so I chunked out filler to progress the plot.]
